The hotel was very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our room and outdoor area were very private. The view was amazing!

Great hotel in Santa Cruz - Galapagos which we can highly recommend. -The hotel was very clean. We had the biggest room, a Suite Deluxe (room name: "Isabela"), and had a nice view to the sea from our balcony which was big. There was also a whirlpool . The personal very nicely explained how the the whirlpool works. However, we could also tell them when we planned to go to the whirlpool in advance and they already prepared it to have it ready when we get to the room. The whirlpool was very clean. -The hotel is directly located at the sea and centrally. Going out from the hotel to the street you have a lot of delicious restaurants. As usual at Santa Cruz, you have to walk to the beaches since the hotels do not have direct access  to beaches. However, the closed, small, beach is only approx. 5 to 10 min by walk.  -The pool at the hotel is very clean and there is a bar. Furthermore, since the hotel has not many rooms, the pool is not crowded and thus is great for relaxing. -Once, while eating breakfast outside, a sea lion was sleeping in the sun at the hotel area. The sea lion came by himself from the sea. This was so nice and cute. -What we would especially like to point out is the personal. At first day, the hotel manager welcomed us and explained us everything. I had once a strong sunburn (I am a bit sensitive to the sun).  So, I called 02.00 am in the morning the hotel manager and he immediately came and organised a doctor. I really appreciated it and he was always very polite. Generally, all person at the hotel was  polite. -If we go to Canta Cruz again, we will definitely going back to this hotel. 

Villa Escalesia has become a home for us. There are not enough words to express our gratitud for each and everyone in the staff and especially for the Manager, Juan Pablo! My husband had a stroke in the middle of the night. I called for help and Juan Pablo made him available immediately and took us to the hospital. Us not having friends or family on the island, did not know how to get things going. Juan Pablo’s help saved my husband’s life. He came to the hospital every day, spoke with the doctors and managed to find an ambulance plane to flight him out to Ecuador where my husband continued treatment. None of that would have been posible without his help. There is much, much more, to say, but I’ll be short. His integrity, hospitality, understanding, humanity, connections, dedication, to name a few, are virtues no money can buy, and we were the recipients of all these gifts. We are eternally thankful to you Juan Pablo. You are an exceptional human being. May God always bless you and protect you and your family and your generations to come.

Stunning oceanfront boutique hotel in Puerto Ayora with panoramic views and a peaceful private setting. The infinity pool, daily wildlife sightings (say hello, to sea lions!) and exceptional service from Juan Pablo made this feel like a luxury home away-from-home. Perfect location for walks to the Charles Darwin Research Station and Santa Cruz Island activities.

WiFi was spotty at times but honestly, disconnecting made the experience even more magical.

Beautiful building, spacious rooms, lovely pool area and very attentive and friendly staff. Stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful time - it was everything we had wanted after finishing a 7 day trip exploring the islands. Special highlight was spotting sharks from the pool area and the marine iguanas sheltering under sun-beds. A really luxurious hotel to wind down in.

Beautiful hotel, but the exceptional staff is what really made it special! I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place. The staff were kind, attentive, and went above and beyond at every interaction. The hotel itself was charming, spotlessly clean, and in a perfect location.

Great, boutique Villa with few rooms only. The seashore location with nice pool and jacuzzi on the shore. The personell was extremelly helpfull and nice. Villa super clean and well taken care of.

Minor thing - the windows were not sound proof so you can hear the sound of the sea all night.

Stayed here for a night and loved it. The rooms are clean and luxurious for Galapagos. Beautiful property and the staff was very helpful. I even got a metal tumbler bottle as a gift. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for comfort.

Sadly the swimming pool is only open until 9 pm.

Simply mesmerising. 100% recommend staying there. Had a horrific experience in Isabella Islands which was alleviated by my arrival at Hotel Villa Escalesia - thank you 🙏🏼 ✨
