We were met by the very friendly staff on our arrival who gave us some great information about what to do in the Island. We had already booked our day trip to Espanola but appreciated the tips on beaches. The location was perfect, just 10 mins to the pier in one direction and 10 mins to airport in the other. They also did a big bag of washing for us in Christmas Day for only $5 (returned by the afternoon) - great service!

It’s was perfect for our stay but a kettle and hairdryer in the room would have been good.

The location was perfect. 5 minute walk to the sea lion beach, restaurants and playgrounds. They cleaned our room every day and provided new towels. We also loved all the storage in the room. The pool was a nice bonus, my kids loved it. They allowed us an early check in because our room was ready and we had arrived early, super accommodating.

There was nothing we did not like, breakfast hours extended would have been nice, but not a deal breaker by any means.

The mosaic tiling all over the property is beautiful. We enjoyed all the hang out spaces including the pool and rooftop! The showers were hot with great pressure. AC was strong!

The wifi is awful! I was so shocked because the Booking.com score for wifi is a 10.0. The wifi is inaccessible in the rooms and even in the common spaces it’s spotty and slow. The breakfasts are basic (no eggs).

Traveling as a family of four plus two friends (6 in total), we LOVED this hotel! The location was walking distance to everything, the staff was wonderful, and the included breakfast was delicious. Rooms were immaculate and they put us in 3 rooms right next to each other. There was plenty of space and privacy. Loved the artistic decor and the pool was also very relaxing. Highly recommend!

I was immediately smitten when I saw the 3D mosaic work on the outside of the building as well as the beautiful colors of the hotel. Once I stepped into the courtyard I couldn't stop looking around--everywhere my eyes landed was art! It is a gorgeous hotel in all ways. The staff, the room, the comfort, the breakfast. I am so pleased to have stayed at Hotel Katarma, my only disappointment being that I was only there overnight.

Excellently appointed accommodation within a beautifully decorated complex. Friendly, helpful staff put on a very good breakfast and keep the complex spotlessly clean. We stayed 4 nights in a large self-contained suite and could not have been happier. We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to others looking for quiet, comfortable accommodation, particularly those seeking to have basic kitchen facilities.

Location is not right in the centre of town but is nonetheless within easy walking distance of shops, cafes and beaches. Being slightly removed from the town centre does ensure that the complex is quiet.

Such an artsy place! We really loved the decor, the pool layout and the sauna (with my favorite hammerhead sculpture). The room was big (like a mini apartment!), the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good despite not being served early enough.

Breakfast starts too late, we only had it once. All tours and ferries leave by seven, it would be nice to go with a full stomach.

- our room during the first night was horrible, it was raining the whole evening and the water started to drop on the floor. Every second 1-2 drops dropped on the bottom so it was difficult to sleep. On top of that we've seen a cockroach in our room. The next morning we explained the owner the problems is our room and he's given us a new room which was larger. The 3 nights in that room were great. No drops, no cockroaches.

The hotel design is a mixture of Gaudí and Dali. Very colourfull and pleasant atmosphere. Supermarket and restaurants within 75 meter. Breakfast is decent with fruit ergs and cereals. pool is just big enough to relax and have a swim

The rooms are fairly basic. Everythings works ( airco, refridgerator) but beds are small and the atmosphere in the room is a bit grey and duel (no painting or picture insiders the room). The hotel is a few minutes walk away from the touristic town center

Eco Hotel Katarma is a stunning eco-friendly oasis in the Galápagos, featuring incredible mosaics and beautiful paintings that give the entire space a vibrant, artistic atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room, and the vegan breakfast was lacking despite me pre-warning them when I booked, though they did their best to remedy it at the time.
