The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right on the harbor & easy to walk to the port, to restaurants, to beaches right from the hotel. Breakfast was included with our stay & was very nice to have. The breeze off the water was very nice as the breakfast area is a covered open air section overlooking the harbor. The kids enjoyed the pool on 2 of the days however the third day is was closed for maintenance but this was a nice added feature. We had a family room which is on the bottom floor of the main building. The beds were 2 twins & a double. The shower was nice & strong but leaked rainwater in the rainstorms (we only had one rainstorm while there). The hotel has a fridge for you to put food in so that no ants gets into the rooms. The purified water available to fill up water bottles and to have tea/coffee at all times was nice. The fact that purified water was in the taps was also nice. The manager at check in met us with a welcome drink of blackberry juice & was very informative about how to do things which were walking distance (like visit the darwin interpretative center, walk to the tijeretas, and then on to punta carola. She was also helpful with food choices as well. The room was a bit dated & would've been nice to have more than one pillow per bed (one extra pillow in the room). Some of the rooms have fabulous ocean views. Others do not. It didn't bother us as the views were steps away. Room was very clean. The kids had fun watching all the sea lions and pelicans on the harbor while viewing all the boats coming in & out of the harbor.

Only thing we would've liked better would've been to have black out shades. The light flooding through the curtains made the room brighter than we would've liked at night, but not a deal breaker.

We received a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Staff went out of their way to try and track down mail for us. We did not know Galapagos no longer has a postal service. Room one is on the top floor - stairs access only. Great balcony and view of the port. We loved the simple style. Nice front garden for breakfast. Nice breakfast of fruit, youghurt, granola, eggs, juice. Beach towels provided.

There is a huge, modern apartment building next door. It has lights blazing all night so light pollution makes the room very light at night. Block out curtains would help on the facing wall of room one.

This is is an paradise to stay at. All the staff are super friendly. The room we had was on second floor with a balcony the coolest place to watch a sunset with sea lions leaping infront of your eyes and pelicans landing, it was like paradise. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was nice and great touch to have water to fill up your bottles or make a cup of tea and a large fridge to keep milk and we had our own hot sauce for eggs at breakfast. The bonus was a swimming pool a yes two swimming pools each with a plunge pool. The balcony with its hammock was one of the highlights. Loved sharing stories with the staff such as one lady's husband his farm literally make the yoghurt for the hotel.....Thank you that we were able to use your towels for the beach saved us buying towels that we would not take home

Maybe better communication that one could order eggs any style rather than just have the set breakfast buffet but we learnt pretty quickly. Would suggest having a hose or bucket to wash sand off before going upstairs, the showers by the pool did not seem to work so a foot bath would be a really good idea.

it is an amazing location just next to Playa de Oro with lovely views from the balcony room 2, overlooking sea, with morning calls from the sea lions. It was on the Malecon and there is everything you need here. Wi-Fi was in common parts and a tiny bit on the balcony but not in room. great bonus having a pool to dip into. great to. have swim towels to use by the pool and or borrow for the beach. Brilliant to have a large fridge to put things like our breakfast spicy sauce, and thanks for all the egg options we had in mornings. Learnt that yoghurt was made by local farmer whose partner worked in hotel, would be good to have this as a little write up on a notice board, guests like that type of information. Would also recommend a list of good places to visit for instance we found the pool at Tijetas Hill just as my son was leaving,

The curtains could be a little heavier maybe with a lining, as we were awake some times at 5am as so light. Wi-Fi in room would be a bonus… we had no air con one night would have been good to have a fan, we could not open windows due to bugs, just hot tip if happens again. Recommendation to have a hose or a bucket to wash off sandy feet so the sand does not go upstairs. We brought in fresh avocados and tomatoes with breakfast to make it a bit more varied.

Location is perfect and the view from our room was outstanding looking at at the beach and harbor. The sea lions can be noisy right below but part of the charm and why you want to visit Galápagos. They never disrupted our sleep. We truly believe this hotel has the absolute best location since it’s walking distance to all restaurants as well as the sandy beach where you can snorkel and play in the water with all the sea lions. 5 minutes walk to the beach where they also have a great outdoor restaurant. We had a hammock as well on the balcony which was used frequently. Very relaxing. We would recommend anyone to get room 4 with the view and balcony. The staff is very international and very service minded. The breakfast was adequate. It is served outdoors in the shaded area overlooking the water. Lovely start of the day.

The wifi was slow in the rooms but fine in common areas by reception or breakfast area. This is not the fault of the hotel. It is slow across all the islands.

Seafront, central location; 2 pools; early check-in, large room

No bedside table or bedside light on one side of the double bed - no electrical powerpoints on that side either or extension cord available to overcome this limitation. No tea or coffee making facility in room. Wifi sometimes a bit unstable.

Breakfast was great and the staff were helpful. The two pools and "hot" tub were nice. Staff was able to arrange a taxi led tour for us on our last day that saved us a ton of money.

I do wish they had mini fridges in the units. Having cold water and drinks after a 90 degree day would be a plus. Instead they have a shared fridge on the ground floor that gets locked every night at 8pm.

The staff was wonderful! They were very attentive and helped us book our excursions and offered suggestions. The breakfast was great and, on days when we were leaving early, they packed us breakfast to go. The room was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We loved hanging out on the balcony and watching the sunset. The wifi was spotty, but that is true for any location on the island.

the property was lovely, spacious, clean, inviting and overall a lovely way to spend our last few days relaxing especially with the two pools offered.

veryyyy minor and is expected in most resorts on the island but there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms. we feel like there could be some Wi-Fi extenders rather than sitting in the breakfast area being eaten by mosquitoes after a lovely evening out in the island and wanting to catching up with family back home.

Great location with a sea vieuw

the first night we got a room on the ground floor facing the pool. I had the feeling that it does not worth the money. Only when the room has a see vieuw it worth the money.
