Beautiful location! All rooms face the beach. They have space for about 30 people. Private beach of the property is never crowded. Their bar open from 3pm until 7/8 pm at night. We ordered food there a couple of time after our kids were finished swimming in the ocean. Their is a separate building across the street that serves as a welcoming space as well as a breakfast area (7-9) am daily. The lobby was an outside waiting area. Staff was wonderful! They helped us book local tours and transportation for the tours when we arrived.

For anyone who is first time traveler to the Galapagos: As in all of Ecuador and of course also true in the Galapagos. You cannot flush toilet paper. You must throw it in the trash. They have appropriate receptacles for paper and hygiene products.

Convenient location, 5mins walk to the center of the town, 10-15mins walk to the ferry pier/ Concha de Perla, travel agent right outside the hotel with good price. Rooms are clean.

Breakfast is below average for the price and the level of service they provided. Limit option for protein and fruit. Avoid the last room in the last row if you prefer to have some sunset and plan to have tons of water activities that need to line dry the cloths

We had the best time at Isamar Hotel. It is only a ten minute walk from the ferry. Situated on a public but quiet beach, with large rooms. Each room bungaglow-style, with huge comfy beds, enough space and windows (at least from our room) allowing you to look directly at the sea. The staff were extraordinary, super helpful, booking trips and ferries for you, giving great recommendations for trips and to dos on the island. We can highly recommend staying at Isamar. It is hands down one of - if not the one - most beautiful hotel on Isabella.

The A/Cs of the other rooms are positioned directly on front of the room situated behind it, which is pretty loud at night. Even the sea can't compete.

Truly a hidden gem, the location on the beach is fabulous. Juan and staff offer unparalleled service. We had a room facing the ocean and I was concerned about noise from other guests and those dining from other part of Isabela sitting outside our room but by 9pm we had it once again all to ourselves, so that was not a problem at all. I enjoyed the bar area and seating areas outside our room all the while we were there. It was hard to leave and explore other parts of town for dining because it was so beautiful so we enjoyed the restaurant both nights. It was a wonderful way to end an 11 day Galapagos trip of a lifetime.

I loved my stay at this hotel! I didn’t expect this level of service and comfort on Isabella island at all! Stuff was very nice and friendly , super attentive and almost everyone called me by my name during my stay! I had sea view room (which was very spacious) and luxury to sleep every night with sound of ocean! Location of hotel is perfect for travelers like me who is looking for peace and quiet, but still couple minutes walk from all restaurants and bars. And it’s right at the beach so you can walk barefoot from your room for sunrise / sunset Hotel was so great that one day I decided to stay in the property and do nothing enjoying the atmosphere instead of going to a tour! Loved it!!! Highly recommend!

Location close to the peer and on the beach. Great staff, especially manager (lady, do not know her name) was very helpful. Food in the restaurant was very nice and for reasonable money, recommended also by locals. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

I think that price is a bit higher than it should be. Pictures on Booking do not fit with reality. I was negatively surprised after my arrival by the outside looking, expected it nicer. But it was ok in the end and I was satisfied and would recommend this hotel.

Location, ambirnce, restaurant, staff. We spent 4 nights and had eaten only at their place with the deck and ocean view. Very efficient AC, flexible attitude as we were allowed to check in at 9AM. Will return.

Laimdry service is drastically overpriced. We paid $27 for a small bag. Similar ammount costs $3 in Santa Cruz (not at hotel though but pro laundry). Minor detail anyway.

We really loved our stay in Isabela, and Isamar was a big part of it. Isabela in general is not a “luxury” type of island..is about laid back relaxation and nature and Isamar provides just that. It’s positioned right on the beach and walkable to anywhere in town (which is really small and mostly dirt roads). Also walkable to the pier and the local snorkel spot. The staff is great- very friendly!

Not a dislike- just feedback from someone with dietary restrictions. Breakfast was a bit tough as a vegan. The kitchen made me special vegetables each morning, but with the activity required in Isabela, some sort of protein (like any type of beans) would have been very helpful. This applies to a small number of people, but if you are vegan bring nuts or peanut butter or something to eat with your fruit and veggies at breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with fabulous staff. Very good buffet breakfast and the best coffee we had in the Galápagos Islands. The views were absolutely stunning, you are right on the beach. It’s an easy 10-15 minutes walk to La Perla De Concha for great snorkelling. Few minutes walk to the Main Street, plenty of restaurants to choose from. 5 minutes walk to the beach and the beach bars and restaurants there. Would recommend El Faro, Iguana Crossing, and definitely Hot Shwarma. Do try the Menu del Dia as we had it several times and the food was home made and very tasty. Would absolutely recommend Camilla at Pahoehoe tours for any tours. She was so helpful and interested in what we really wanted to do. Would love to come back to this hotel, it was wonderful.

If I had to say anything negative it was that there was no long length mirror in the room, but none of our other hotels / hostels in the Galápagos Islands had one either 🤣. It would not stop me staying again. Number one choice of Hotel in Isabela!

The location on the beachfront is excellent - this appeared to be one of the better beachfront ones with true direct access to the beach. The staff were attentive - particuarly the staff member that is the dopplganger of Asa Butterfield (aka Otis) - he was excellent. The food was great, not many reviews online as the kitchen is new, but the quality was much hugher than elsewhere and the price was fair. The ceviche was the best we had, but the tuna tartar was the best thing they had on the menu. They also have a happy hour 5-9pm.

Some touch ups needed in the bathroom, for example peeling silicone arpund the sink, but nothing major. They ran out of fruit for sangria - but thats me straining to think of something I didnt like!
