The location was great, in the busy centre of Cairo. There is an old elevator that takes you up to the 6th floor so you don't have to worry about climbing the stairs. The staff are super friendly and helpful here and they allowed us to leave our bags when we arrived early and left late - thanks so much. The AC worked well and the breakfast was tasty. The bathroom was small with a shower that was almost exactly above the toilet seat but that's common in these types of countries I guess.

The breakfast took a while to receive (45 mins to an hour), but it was worth the wait. Although we had to eat it in our room and there were no tables so we ate on our beds.

I had a fantastic experience at the hotel, thanks to the amazing staff who were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Fady Habib, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me every night with planning my next day's activities, and he always did so with a cheerful attitude. The location of the hotel was ideal, right in the heart of downtown and close to everything I needed. The elevator had a charming old-school feel to it, which added to the overall authenticity of the place. Although my overall experience was excellent, I believe there is room for improvement in the cleanliness of the bed sheets. With a bit more attention to detail in this area, the hotel could enhance its already great offerings

the house in which the hotel is located is quite run down and the elevator and staircase to reach the hotel are both in not so great condition Due to the location it can be loud from the outside, so if you're a light sleeper, better bring earplugs

I really liked the fact that it was situated very nearby the center of Cairo, although not new Cairo but downtown Cairo so you get the authentic middle -eastern experience. Close to the market and really close to places where there is good food. The neighboring area is quite busy but safe, of course considering the precautions you usually take when in crowded places. Being in Cairo at night is not recommend, but we did it anyway and nothing happened apart from the usual. What I really like about the hotel is that they offer airport shuttle, a bit expensive than what you would get using InDrive app but still a good price and you feel very comfortable and safe with the car and driver they provide. I recommend it if you have luggages with you. Also Minerva offers all the tours you would like, not sure whether it is for the cheapest but we found the price reasonable. They picked us up straight from the hotel and the tour guides treated us very nicely! We did Giza pyramids, Cairo tour and Alexandria. We also took a dinner on a Nile cruise for 2 hours which was really nice. They also offer Luxor but you need to reserve some days for that, so we didn't do it. All the tours were enjoyable. The breakfast is good but it is the same every day so don't expect anything fancy. However the staff is really nice and they prepare it for you at the time you need it, so it was very convenient and nice for us. The staff is really friendly and helpful! Also being there with Sobh made it super enjoyable because he gave us tips and tricks about going out and we had super good discussions with him, he's the best!

Not sure how our room is but I think the painting on the top wall was a bit coming off. If you don't care about these things then it is super comfortable and you have everything what you need. The bathroom also is not really fancy but does the job.

The staff were super friendly and we felt safe there. The bathroom in the room was a big plus. The breakfast was very delicious and homemade :) A typical Egyptian breakfast. Make sure to book your room with the breakfast included. The room had a mini fridge too.

Music coming from the reception could be a bit lower in the morning. A stricter policy against smoking is needed.

An excellent breakfast a very pleasant personal that was helpfull, talkative and very friendly and nice. A very nice room with nice bed and a well working shower with hot water. The location of the Hotel was perfekt, close to the Metro and a lot of attractions in walking distance.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel in Cairo! The location on Talaat Harb Street was perfect, with easy access to everything. The atmosphere was vibrant, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I want to give a special mention to Mr. Sobhi, the receptionist, who was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. He provided excellent recommendations and enthusiastically assisted us. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Cairo. A big thank you to the entire team for this memorable experience!

We stayed at this hotel and were warmly welcomed from the very first moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay, had delicious meals, and were treated to various offerings. We left with the intention of coming back again someday!

The hotel is in central Cairo with lots of food places around it. The host Abdooz, helped me in every possible way. He took us out for shopping in a very crowded market from which I found some really good deals. For the price that I paid, the experience I received was exceptional. The hosts are amazing and a bonus is that the hotel is in a vintage building with a cool elevator that I liked the most.
