Since we were traveling to Puerto Montt by bus from Argentina we liked the fact that the hotel is next to the bus station and to a mall. There's a supermarket at the basement level of the mall as well. From the station it's a short walk to the hotel but ask for directions as the posted signs lead you in the wrong direction. The location is on the beach walk "costanera" which is undoubtedly the best part of the city. The location is within walking distance of several places that are part of the city tour so we saved by not having that expense. We were staying several days so we asked for and were upgraded to a room with views of the sea at no additional cost. Breakfast was good and plentiful, not just a "continental" breakfast, meals for purchase were good as well.

Elevators are a bit slow.

We arrived after a long bus journey and the hotel is literally next to the bus station, with a supermarket across the road. The room met the requirement, it was quiet, the bathroom was compact but did the job, shower head was attached to the ceiling which was interesting. Our ferry was cancelled the following day which meant we attempted to get a very early bus so we missed breakfast. If we hadn't got on the bus the team on reception offered to hold our room so if the bus was full we could come back and stay another night. I felt the customer service was good.

When we arrived the check-in process took a bit longer than I had anticipated. We had to give our passports to be photocopied which is normal and then we were asked to sign a waiver about protecting our belongings and that the hotel was not responsible... which I made a bit of a fuss about and apologised for later. There is a safe in the room but they must have had an issue previously. We had no issues at all.

I loved the room, the view, the customer service. They helped me have an amazing moment coming bsck from a tour to a volcano after having asked my significant other to marry me. they organized the room and made it look amazing.

Being peruvian doesn't help much but the food and the drinks arent their specialty.

Very spacious, clean, quiet and functional room with a wonderful view over the water towards the mountains. Located above the bus station and a short walk to ferry terminal and town centre. Pleasant walk along adjacent waterfront. Helpful staff.

Unspectacular breakfast and no tea making facilities inside the room.

Very convenient location right next to the bus station. Very helpful staff who arranged a taxi to the airport for early next morning and organised a fantastic takeaway breakfast as we would miss breakfast time. Comfy beds.

No AC in bedroom so a little warm overnight and had to keep window shut due to exterior noise as in town centre.

The property is well taken care of. Rooms are nice. Staff is helpful

It's located on the same site as the bus station. A few sketchy folks around there. At the same time, we appeciated it being close to the station because it was right there when we arrived. The other thing I'd mention are the elevators. Sooooooo slow. Overall though this property was good.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Ibis in Puerto Montt. I needed lodging on very short notice and appreciated that the reception and security staff were welcoming and helpful. They had a room ready before check in time so I had only a short wait. They held my luggage in a secure location during that time. The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet, and had a great view of the water. The location beside the bus terminal makes arriving, departing, and tours extremely easy. I highly recommend Hotel Ibis and will stay there again when I return to Puerto Montt.

Right on the waterfront. Right next to the bus station, and surprising quiet. Lovely to walk the Costanera promenade in the evening where others are skate boarding in the skate park, or strolling, or just enjoying the waterfront. The breakfast is ample with lots of choices and convenient times. The seaview rooms are great!

A dedicated container in the shower for "shampoo" not just body soap would be nice. And a hand towel.

Good breakfast, plentiful. Tasty. Friendly staff. The location couldn't be better if arriving or leaving by bus. It is LITERALLY next door to the bus terminal. It's also surprisingly very quiet, and the view rooms over the water are lovely.

Only 2 big towels. No hand towel, nor washcloth. Also no shampoo, though maybe the gel in the shower would work. Nice to have a hairdryer. No complimentary tea or coffee in the room

The location is great if you arrive and take off by bus. Great view, good breakfast, on costanera. Clean room, comfy bed, friendly professional staff

The room is bare, 1 paper cup in the bathroom. No hand towels, no coffee/tea in the room. Not a standard 3 star hotel.
