It's good value for money, relative to the sky high prices in the center of Barcelona. It's a bit of a way out of the center, but that's no problem. Barcelona has an excellent unified public transport system. A travel card can be bought which allows the use of the underground metro, tram and bus services. The hotel is thus just half an hour or from the city center by public transport. Another plus of the location is it's position halfway between the city center and the airport. Easy and fast access over a short and uncongested distance. The hotel itself is new and modern, and very clean. A continental buffet breakfast can be bought for 6 Euros - great value, with a nice variety of items to choose from.

There are different types of room for the same price. We initially got a room which was literally bare - a double bed pushed up against the wall with one bedside table, a place to lay a suitcase and a few clothes hangers. No chair, no table, no cabinet... nothing. Get undressed and put your clothes on the floor. The next morning the room opposite was being cleaned with its door open, so we had a look. It was totally different, with a table, chair etc. We asked to switch rooms and they obliged easily. So if you book a room, be sure to request one in the comment section with proper furniture.

Great little and very affordable hotel. Clean, great staff, nice breakfast. Special shout out to Vicente at the reception desk, who was really helpful guiding us. The hotel is a bit far from Tourist places, which is not necessary a bad thing, however very easy to get aroud via public transport. Tram station (Pont d' Esplugues) is five minutes walking from the hotel, also a direct bus to Plaza Catalunya five mins away from the hotel. plenty of places to eat around and a nice shopping mall called Finestrelles like 800m away. In general a good experience, I would stay there again.

As some people have mentioned, when there is noisy people, the sound proof is not good enough.

We really liked the friendliness of the staff - they were professional and helpful. The room was tiny, but all we needed for our trip to Barcelona. Everything was clean and working. The breakfasts were really good, no scrambled eggs or pancakes, but we knew that. There was a bowl of hard-boiled eggs I think :)

Everything was very good. Rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. They were a bit small, but you don't actually need bigger rooms than this, so it's a plus. The location was really great, they always had parking spots, connection to the city was good... All in all, a very good and positive experience.

There wasn't enough storage space to keep the clothes, but this is really nitpicking. The only real and biggest problem was the bed. The mattress was really sunken in, and sleeping on it was bad. I was waking up constantly, and my wife had back pains because of it. They should opt for better mattresses and replace these sunken ones. They cast shadow on a really positive experience.

The location isn't bad at all; I was even able to find a parking spot on streets, within 20 minutes of walking from the hostel. Yes, it wasn't instant find, but it worked. To move around Barcelona, I recommend buying transfer tickets for the public transport (either Hola Barcelona or T-mobilitat casual) and using T1-T3 to get to a metro station.

Could use a shelf to store the few clothes I had. Despite claiming they want to preserve the environment and ask you to explicitly put the towels you want to change into the shower, everything was cleaned up and replaced each day. So, if you care, talk to the staff.

Hostal Lami has a good location, out of the very busy and noisy city center. Nearby, there are a lot of restaurants for tapas, pizza and other food. Area is more calm and relaxed, yet not that far from the city center. I was traveling with a bicycle and the staff was very helpful to store the bike at a special storage room, which was locked ensuring the high level of security.

The size of the room was ok, but the bathroom was smaller than expected and the sink was outside of the bathroom.

clean, nice furniture. you can pay for breakfast on the reception (6e per person, breakfast is good and ussual for this type of small hotels). stuff is very polite.

we knew where the location was, and I can't say I don't like it - just to make people aware that it takes about 20 minutes by taxi or about 35 minutes by public transport to get to the city center (public transport is well organized and there are several alternatives)

The hotel was very clean, comfy bed and spacious enough for my 2 nights stay. The staff was nice and always helpful. The tram station is only 5 minutes' walk and only 2 stops to the shopping centre. There are plenty of restaurants just across the street.

The location was not close to the centre. It's around 20 to 30 minutes by Uber to the main centre. Public transport is expensive compared to other cities in Europe

- good value for money for Barcelona standards - good breakfast, reasonably priced, good selection of food and beverages - fast and reliable wi-fi - quiet neighborhood

- takes a while to get to the city center, tram 10 minute walking - the room is a bit compact, not a lot of storage room and no wardrobe, but that was expected based on photos

Very clean place, close to some restaurants and public transport, easy check in and 24h reception desk. Nice and friendly staff. All great! Loved the stay.

The room looked much bigger on the reservation site while in fact it is very tiny, so it is great if you just sleep there. The wifi does not log you in when in room, you have to go downstairs to log to the network and only then the wifi will work in your room. This was a small nuisance only.
