I actually did not have any expectation for the place. I had some business at BSC, and the usual hotels I stay had no availability. as this hotel is reasonably close (i.e. walking distance) I gave it a try. I had a great (but very short) stay. The room was great (probably got an upgrade or two), very large, great bathroom, very clean, bath with jacuzzi function, everything great. But what was really exceptional was the breakfast. Spanish hotels are not really that known for having a great breakfast, but Abba Garden hotel had one which is better than most other places I visit. Glutenfree options, discretely on the side, local products clearly labeled, very rich and diverse buffet. Simply great. I will come again.

Well, if you are visiting Barcelona the city, this is a bit on the wayside. It will take a while to get to the city proper. It is a great spot if you are by car and you want to explore around Barcelona and have seen the city enough. To be honest, it is also not that far, just that there would be other hotels that would have it easier if you intend to make a city tour.

Staff were incredibly attentive, answered our 2000 silly questions with no hesitation. Room was great, nice sized with comfortable beds. AC is always a bonus when it’s warm too! Swimming pool was nice and secluded too, and never overly busy, always got a space when we wanted one! Easy bus and metro routes into the city centre too! (Make sure to get a hola Barcelona card!) I am coeliac too, staff went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of at breakfast! Absolutely amazing hotel, 10/10 would come again.

Only issue was spa was out of order due to restrictions in the area surrounding saving water, which is perfectly understandable.

The hotel staff was great. The pool was great, although a bit too cold for me (I'm from Florida). There is a nice garden. There is a restaurant on-site and a minibar in the room. They were able to give us 4 single beds, which was what we needed.

For me, the bed was way too firm. I did not sleep well at all. The location is nowhere near the center, so you need to take the metro or a taxi. We used taxis. We had breakfast once. It was 18 EURO. I know hotel breakfasts are often expensive. I did not think it was worth 18 EURO, but the pastries, fruit, and juice were good.

The hotel was very clean , rooms were spacious good beds and fridge was handy.. the bathroom was great size and lovely size bath…. View from the hotel you overlook the city and at night is spectacular also the pool was a relief for us after a hot day at the Grand Prix to cool off and relax.the staff are just as amazing and very helpful.. could not do enough for us to make our stay special….

Nothing… great hotel

We had a pleasant stay at Abba Garden. The hotel is just a 15-minute walk from the metro station, making it easy to explore Barcelona. Our room was comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The price was a bit high for the benefits, but it was understandable due to the Formula 1 event happening at the same time. Overall, a good experience!

We couldn't open the windows because it was very noisy outside due to some ventilation system placed in front of our room.

We are very grateful to all the staff of ABBA Garden Hotel, especially to Oscar from the maintenance team and Esteban from the reception team for help with my suitcase. They found appropriate keys and screwdrivers to exchange broken wheels in it. They got me their assistance completely selflessly. I am sure that the management will know how to appreciate hotel's exceptional staff.

Overall it was a comfortable and luxurious property - friendly staff, great food, great amenities. We particularly enjoyed the pool.

We had a big family room and the AC wasn't cooling it well. Fortunately the staff arranged a fan for us in the middle of the night.. The location is a bit far from the city and involves some walking from the nearest public transport. But there is a shuttle service on weekdays to the nearest metro station.

Hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and polite :) Special thanks to Sofia y Marc and also to the rest of the team of Abba Garden Hotel; my apologies I cannot remember their names 🙏

I would say more facilities and perhaps entertainment such as bingo for example. That would make a big difference since it s a bit out of the centre and also will entertain the guests.

Nice big room with a good supply of toiletries - my husband needed a razor & front desk staff were happy to oblige straight away. Lovely view of Barcelona from our window. Pool area nice to chill on a hot day Breakfast was good with a big choice of hot & cold food All the staff were pleasant & helpful

It was constantly in the 30 degrees plus throughout our stay, but despite having the air-conditioning on all night, it did not cool the room much. I chose the hotel because it was in a quiet area but didn't realise it was a 15 - 20 min walk uphill from the Metro. It's tiring after a day out. Also struggled to dry swimming things as our room didn't have a balcony

Clean, friendly staff, comfy beds, good toilet and shower, new towels everyday, free shuttle to nearest metro.

Was more for Spanish people on business we made the mistake of thinking it was like a holiday hotel when it wasn’t really, You can get a shuttle to the nearest metro but coming back you can not get a shuttle so it could be hard getting back from the city. On the more expensive side.
