While located out of the city center, it is not far from a metro station in a safe, less busy area with plenty of stores and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included in my stay. Rooms are not large, but there is air conditioning and plenty of storage. Washers and dryers were available for 2.50 each (card or coin). You can easily purchase detergent at the supermarket next store. Housekeeping was provided every other day.

Be aware that this is a university residence, so nearly everyone there is a young college student. You may feel a bit out of your element if you are older when you are in the minority in the dining area or using the pool. That said, all were very nice and it's not an issue; you likely will spend most of the day in the city.

I really enjoyed staying here, the hotel is located close to L3 metro station Maria Cristina so it's really simple to get there from the airport and you can easily go to every checkpoint on your "must see" places list. There is also a small shop nearby, and for those who enjoy dining out the location is surrounded by small venues perfect for breakfast or lunch. For my staying breakfast was included, and although it was limited (the staff lady is taking care of the buffet, you will get a piece of bread + two slices of ham + a donut + a cup of juice) for me it was enough. My room had an air conditioning which was perfect for the weather there, and the cleaning was done everyday. The receptionist was speaking perfect english and I must say I'm really happy with all the staff members who were really helpful and nice. I stayed there as a solo female traveller and I felt really safe, so I recommend this hotel to everyone :)

I enjoyed my stay at Residencia. The staff are experienced, friendly and welcoming and gave us everything we needed. The WiFi is reliable and my room was very clean with a fridge included. We heard no noise from other guests and was able to check in and out late at night to catch early flights from the airport. Our host even offered us a breakfast to go when we checked out at 3am which was a very kind gesture. The place is well located in Barcelona with a 10 minute walk to bus/ metro and shopping area. There is also an affordable supermarket to buy groceries around the corner which saved us money. The breakfast is basic but nice, you get a yoghurt, breakfast sandwich (cheese or meat)/ a pastry and toast included which was plenty for us for a short 3 day trip. Lastly, the pool is very nice and we were sad to miss using it properly as it closes at 8! I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Residencial for hosting us 🙏

For a longer stay in Barcelona, I would’ve liked some more hot breakfast options would be nice like fried eggs, some vegetables, or protein like beans/ vegetarian sausage for variety.

Student residence used as a hotel. All very functional without surprises. Well organized room with quite comfortable beds. The pool is nice, the gym a lot more well equipped than the pictures show, and there's a kitchen available for use of the guests.

The breakfast was just acceptable and mainly consisted of bread. It varied over the days though. The staff was quite unattentive, with the majority of them seeming new to the job. Still, things worked out well.

Ac blew cubes. Early 2000s decor took me back. I liked the pool. I liked the common area large windows that opened to the outside. Tranquil neighborhood. I liked the winding staircase. The breakfast, while sparse, got me off to a good start. Liked the cappuccino machine. The staff were nice.

No cups in the room. Only one set of shampoo and soap for three days. A little more breakfast would be nice.

It was as I was expected. Good value for the money. The room was cleaned daily. Easy to reach center with metro. Breakfast was fine (included in the price). The room has shutters for the windows, so you can sleep in complete darkness which I love.

The door closes loudly because the door mechanism does not slow down the door while it is closing. Other guests who wake up very early in the morning may disturb your sleep or you may theirs :) just a small detail.

It's a student dormitory during the school year but it was very nice in there. Better then some hotels I stayed in. AC, fridge in the room, quite tidy, roomservice daily, nice personel. Close to the metro station, very nice and safe location, lots of nice restaurants in 10 mins walking distance (the really nice ones were full in the evening so I recommend to make a reservartion). Carrefour is 2 mins away by walk.

The breakfast was continental which is fine by me but the problem was that they offer mainly a sandwich (called bikini I think) which is meant to be put in a contact grill. The problem is, there is only one contact grill and it takes f-g forever to get your toast ready as there are lots of other ppl. Which may not be seen as a negative by some but it was something that pissed me off everytime right in the morning (yes, I am not a morning person and this didnt help at all :D )

Really nice and comfortable room, it was good to come back here for a bit rest at the end of a busy day. The breakfast was delicious and filling. It is a 10 minutes walk from station Maria Cristona where from you can reach every part of Barcelona. The neighbourhood is silent and clean, there's a shop nearby.

Lots of things to do (swimming, billiard, table tennis, ...), rooms where clean and staff was friendly and helpful. There's several supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the metro is only 500m away. Free breakfast, although quality was so-so (in particular the "juices" were just flavoured water).

Toilet didn't have a window or fan, so stayed smelly for a while after one of us used it. Showering was a bit awkward as the shower handle would often fall off its holder. Sink was almost blocked, though that got fixed quickly. A bit distant from the city center, though with a metro pass that's not an issue.

It was ok for a student residencia. Breakfast was good. Btw, for people who are travelling longer time as I am, they have a laundromat. There's no mentioning in the hotel description, but it's a big plus. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

The price was too high for the stay. 100 € per night for a tiny room doesn't worth.
