We enjoyed our time at Isabella's House. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We loved the restaurant. The location was great - an easy walk to everything you need or the public transport to go further into the city. BUT the area was super quiet and felt like a nice residential area, so we didn't feel any tension walking around at all hours. There were several grocery stores close by. While the hotel did offer send out laundry for a very good fee, we kept sleeping in too late, so I found a nice washing place a few blocks away, which was a relief. The kitchen is pretty well stocked for cooking most meals and the fridge was a good size with a real freezer! Traveling with a teenage boy means always having food ready :) The AC was also fantastic, so much so that I had to keep turning it down as I turned into a popsicle since the teen turned it up whenever I wasn't looking!

I was drawn to this place because of the pictures of the units that looked like old world meets modern boho decoration. As some other reviewers have stated, these apartments are a little tired now. I didn't mind it, but just want make sure you're aware before you book that it's not as shiny and glossy as the pictures. We were up on the 6th floor and found some issues with the wifi, especially in the evenings. I was able to do my remote-work just fine during the day at least. But streaming some tv shows could be challenging. Easy enough to work around.

This place was amazing in terms of value for money and location was a 4 minute walk from the station and bus stops so it was easy to travel around. Also the staff were lovely and the rooms were great. The restaurant was also very convenient and delicious. The breakfast was good enough for the price and I would definitely to stay here again.

There was a really bad smell in the corridor and the elevator which was there the whole time we were there. Other than that it was amazing

Hotel is located in a quiet and nice area, very close to the metro station and several bus stops, so that it's very easy to quickly get to the city centre and most of the attractions. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel, but there are also several dining options around. The apartment we got was very nice and clean, it had a small kitchen so - if we wanted - we could even prepare some meals on our own. It was equipped according to the description in everything we needed. The best part was a very nice and friendly staff :)

There were some strange noises in the bedroom - like waterfall behind the wall - when someone from upper floors used the shower/toilet. It was a bit scary the first night, but we used earplugs anyway and got used to it.

In a great location where we were very grateful to be away from the busy-ness of central Barcelona, but very easy to go to and from the main attractions. The staff were great, friendly and quick to fix a leak in our kitchen. Our apartment was beginning to look a little tired, but everything was very clean.

You can hear noise from other flats which disturbed our sleep at times.

It’s absolutely beautiful, each space is decorated and makes it feel like home. We got a pink room which I was very happy about! The best was comfortable and the pillows were good. The little kitchen was helpful. We didn’t cook but got a couple of microwaveable meals from the near by store that were good to have after walking around all day. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites the whole time in Barcelona. Definitely eat there once or twice if you can! The staff there were extremely kind and helpful with us trying to speak Spanish. The location was nice. A little ways outside the busy city but easy to get there quickly!

The only one issue we had was the shower. Each room is different so I can’t speak on any of the others. We were in room 504. The shower head is in the center and the barrier for water only goes halfway. Therefore water always got on the floor. We didn’t even dare turn on the overhead one because the floor would be soaked. We put the pressure on as low as we could to not splash around and pushed ourselves into the corner of the shower to keep water from not splashing out.

The location is convenient, better to go with a Hola Barcelona Tour Card. Little kitchen for daily cooking is good for tourists who like trying fresh food ingredients from local supermarkets. Basic utensils are available. Room service and cleaning helpers respond quickly. The bed is great and the pillows are comfortable for good sleep. Air conditioning is a great plus for shelter against the heat wave during our stay. The balcony is adorable, higher floor is suggested for better views, however. Window blinds and curtains provide good protection for privacy and sunlight.

The bathroom is a bit dark without open windows to outside, and the ventilation is not good enough after showers. We can’t open the window for good ventilation. (Maybe it’s because the ventilation window is broken with a lost hinge screw.) One of the tiles above the tub is broken, though it doesn’t affect taking showers.

I wasn't expecting a place like that! The apartment is better than my house in Dublin. I', excited to experience one again. I Love the vibes, the decoration, the music. I had a kettle and a coffee machine inside the kitchen, I couldn't be happier.

I had an excellent stay in Barcelona. The apartment has a modern style with a youthful personality and spacious rooms. The living area is comfortable, with a sofa, TV, and dining table, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The bedroom is large and very comfortable. The view of the surrounding area is beautiful, in a peaceful and green residential neighborhood. The location is convenient, with the metro, markets, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. The on-site reception made check-in easy, and the restaurant from the same group, located in the building, is a great option for dining without leaving the property. A pleasant, well-structured, and practical stay.

I found the staff to be exceptional! They were incredibly helpful. The apartment was very inviting and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. I liked that the hotel was near restaurants, bakeries, and stores. We were approximately 10-20 minutes walking to everything. We ate at Isabella’s restaurant. The food and staff were great. My friend’s luggage was temporarily lost by the airlines. It did not arrive before our cruise departed. The staff at Isabella’s house were terrific. They called the airline for us. When the luggage didn’t arrive, they told us they would keep it safe if it did arrive. The luggage arrived at the hotel and we were notified immediately about it. It’s nice knowing our luggage is safe until our return.

We loved everything.

Isabella's House is very funky. We particularly enjoyed the mid-twentieth styling, which sets the scene apart from your normal run-of-the-mill hotel setup. Our apartment was good-size and comfortable and exactly what we wanted. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The location is very good to orient yourself and explore the city on foot. Sant Gervasi, Gracia, and the Gothic Quarter all within striking distance, and you can even walk just a little bit further to reach the port. There is a wide selection of fantastic restaurants only block-distance away. Id you are looking for something a bit out of the white-box hotel norm, Isabella's could work for you.

Our apartment faced on Carrer de Granduxer, and the street tends to be busy until late in the evening (it was my first trip to Barcelona and I still have to get to know the city sounds :)
