This was my third stay here. It's a nice choice for a few days. The beds have privacy curtains which I always appreciate. Staff are nice and helpful when you need them.

Mattress was a bit thin down the middle making me feel like a human taco. Probably could use a replacing. Bathrooms are clean, but cramped. No place for clothes when showering and they seem to leak water into the rest of the bathroom.

The bed is cool and comfortable. The curtain is a game changer. AC is working so all is good. The location is perfect and the neighborhood is super quiet. The price is also cheap for Barcelona.

Only 2 men toilets for the whole hostel. Moreover, these automatic light switches, which makes it super weird to try to poop in peace. You will always wave hands to keep the light on. Also, no place to just dry your clothes. So if you are planning to stay there for more than a few days it might be a problem. The dryer and wash they offer are much more expensive than in other laundries, so I end up going to the laundry to wash and dry my clothes there. But what I wanted initially is just to hand wash a few pairs of socks.

The beds had individual curtains that make the bed feel more private when you want to go to bed

The city has a turist fee that they charge youupon arrival, per night of stay, and I had booked everything why couldn’t I had being charged for that prior, seems sketchy… The location is not that close to the main turist attractions, and they rent towels, in my opinion they should provide towels and bedsheets and for some reason theres is an incredible difference between the lobby and rooms area

Excellent staff!! Reception and housekeeping are professional, friendly and helpful. Stayed in Female dorm last Sept and was hoping for that again, but mixed was fine this time. Great base for exploring Barcelona. Excellent location, surrounded by restaurants and residential neighbourhoods good/safe for walking (solo female travellers). A mirror+shelf or extra “dressing area” somewhere would be helpful for personal grooming outside of the shower/WC/sinks/changing rooms which become cramped when in use. Perhaps it is cramped intentionally to get you out faster. Add steamy showers, hot blow dryer and 2 busy toilets in the morning - it’s probably fine for guys, but the women would benefit from more / additional room for personal care.

Loved this place, the pods are really private, solid, clean and comfortable. Great that they have air con at night and the window door opened during the day to air the room. Kitchen facilities are wonderful, staff are super friendly and accommodating. Location is great, away from the chaos of the centre, lots of lovely restaurants and bars are a 5 mins walk away on ave diagonal. There was always a shower free and with hot water. Chilled not party vibe 🙌

Staff were so very helpful and kind. The bunk beds have everything you need (individual light, space to put things inside the cubicle of the bed, privacy curtain...) and windows to ventilate the dorm rooms.

When requested to pay for the washer and drier services I was given an estimate time bracket. This ende dup being off by over 3 hours late and was critical for my choice and cost of service. I ended up needing to get my clothes back unfinished the drying cycle due to this. That you need to set up your own bedding, instead of it being placed on the beds by staff. Also, the matress is so fine not really much comfortable.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. The location is good and everything was clean (room, bathrooms). The wi-fi worked fine. Having a curtain makes the bed so much more private. The box to store your things was quite big, I fitted inside two backpacks (one of the size of an airplane carry-on about 40 liters and the other smaller) and still had some space left. It was possible to put a lock which made it perfectly safe to left my thing in the hostel.

It's nearby to metro, so the location is really good. The beds were comfortable.

It's a kind of hostel that is looking for save money in everything they could. So you have to do your own bed, in the check out you have to also bring the sheets to the reception. There is no toiletries at all and after check out you can't even use the toilet. A lot of hostel allow clients to use toilet, take a shower (if you pay for it) or stay in the commun area after check out, there they said "the idea is you to take your luggage and leave" (their own sentence). So it's a good place to stay, but you are not a client anymore after check out. So be aware of it when you plan your stay. They are not like most of the hostels in this sense.

The privacy of each "cube" bed. This has been one of my best hostel stays, and I have stayed in many across Europe and America. The friendliness of the staff, easily accessible luggage storage, 24 hour access, central Barcelona... Very good value for money.

No coat hooks inside the shared showers and toilets. There are hooks outside the shower door, but since the bathroom space is shared, adding a coat hook inside the shower cubicle would be good. Then again, I wish it were closer to a metro stop, not 20 minutes walk away.

The location was great, a minute walk to two different bus stops, which provided access to all famous places. Supermarkets and cafes nearby, 4 bus stops till Passage de Gracia, however, in a clean and quiet naberhood. The facilities looked as advertised, we were in a 6 person room and there was no noise, nothing to disturb sleep. Heating was working and switched on by request; the window could be opened for fresh air. Staff was very friendly, allowed us to stay in the common room before and after accommodation time as our plane was later, hence they provided us with a great traveler experience. This was my first ever hostel experience (I am in my mid 40s), same as for my husband (mid 50s), and it felt awesome! Adventure Barcelona is something I would never forget and would stay at Dream Cube Hostel again.

It is a hostel (one can not expect the luxury as in a hotel), all that was promised on Booking platform was provided. There was nothing to dislike, unless someone went with very wrong expectations.
