The location was just amazing as well as the comfort and the size of the bed, The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not new and already shows signs of age. The cleanliness is also far from ideal, with dirty sheets both in the room and in the bathroom. The bathrooms also need some repairs, as you find a puddle of water after showers. The breakfast is very basic and there is not much choice. Of course, this is enough if you are not very picky.

Location was good and easy to find. On a busy road but traffic noise wasn't an issue for us. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

Pet peeve - when a hotel states that parking is available I think there should be some qualification whether parking is included in the rate (eg specific parking attached to the hotel) or whether there is just a nearby public car park and you'll have to pay normal public parking rates.

Location was decent, staff was very kind, clean but bit wear and tear room.

I didn't like false advertisment. I specially booked upper floor room, just to have "nice view" of sovietish courtyard. Yes it doesn' say that I will get specific view of street, but all 7 pics of specific room differs from reality - it shows room with street view. No pics of courtyard view room

The hotel is great for a break. It is ideally located in a quite area, close to the metro station and even walking distance from different turistic spots. There are lots of bakeries and restaurants very close by, for the fussy eaters. I believe the hotel has some sound proof isolation because there are road construction on the main street, but the noise did not make it through the windows. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable (which is a great plus, after walking and exploring one day, you really need a comfy bed). Breakfast was basic: coffee, teas, omlet, bacon, boiled and fried eggs, breads, cheeses, and charcuteries, yogourts, jams, juices, milk (with and without lactose). For us it was more than enough, but this is very subjective, and there will always be people that are not happy with the offer. We had a great stay, and if we have the chance, for sure we will come back! It's a definite reccommendation! Thank you, U232 Hotel!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar in reception was lovely and reasonably priced for a hotel. Clean and spacious room. Location excellent, close to metro or walkable to key attractions. Traditional old style hotel which was lovely! Mini fridge was a bonus!! The bar Bocarius a couple doors down was very nice for a late night drink.

Beware that you have to pay a €100 euro deposit for the tourist tax. Was happy to pay, but didn't see anything online about it being a deposit so that was a bit of a surprise. However you get the remaining back immediately after you leave (was straight back in my bank account).

The reception staff was AMAZING, helpful, and friendly, suggesting excellent customer service and hospitality. The location is conveniently located close to a subway station and within a 35-minute walking distance of Plaza Catalunya, making it easily accessible and well-situated for exploring the area. The breakfast offered was excellent, which added value to the overall stay and enhanced the guest experience. (it is optional). Overall, based on the cleanliness, staff friendliness, convenient location, and quality breakfast, this hotel is highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The room did not have a window with a view of the city or street, and it was quite dark as it faced another side of the building.

The staff welcomed me with an upgrade, which is an amazing start. The room was already cool (I arrived during a heat wave). The bathroom size was great and so was the bedroom. I had cold water and a kettle for a cuppa. They held my bags next day while I run some errands before heading to the airport. The staff are helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable with nice pillows. Everything was clean. Plenty of hospitality options nearby and also public transport.

Some areas need a touch up but the competitive price compensates for it.

Location was very good! Walking distance (15min) to most touristic places but still in a more calm neighborhood. Even so, there were good bars and cafes near the hotel .. We went in a colder time, so the rooftop was empty, but it may be nice when you have friends over there. The gym was ok, only a few dumbells and a treadmill, but fine.

It seemed like the hotel needed a carpet cleaning and also a more detailed cleaning overall. Sometimes there was a little dust flowing in the air and a little bit stuck in places like the lights and little corners.

Location - safe area even in late evenings, good connections to all locations of Barcelona. Kind and helpful staff. Our room was very quite, balcony was located to internal yard, and it was better, because no smog and sound from the street. Big room, and very big - king size bed.

Maybe richer breakfest menu - no sea products at all.

Functional, beautiful and clean.

Almost no natural light in the room i was given.
