Location was great, lovely building, comfy bed, kind staff and everything very clean. Great, spacious terrace where you can enjoy the afternoon sun. The property has a lovely charm.

We knew about the noise from the street from reading previous reviews- so this did not bother us (it was loud, so if you are a light sleeper do not choose a room facing the street). Unfortunately, there was also a knocking sound from water pressure in the pipes (I assume) which did wake us up each night. The bathroom also had a slight smell of damp (although bathroom was very clean). If these issues are addressed then the room would be great :). I’m sure due to Easter Weekend the prices were much more increased- if it was any other weekend I would not have paid as much for such an accommodation.

Everything. The breakfast was amazing. We left very early and Anna made us a takeaway breakfast to go. Very much appreciated. The area felt very safe and secure. The location was a little way out from the centre but had excellent transport. Buses were easy to navigate with a tap on with visa or credit card. 2.65 euro for each trip. The room (5) was large and well equipped. The breakfast area and balcony was idyllic and felt very traditional Spanish. The building was grand with high ceilings and beautiful ornate features. Spanish hospitality at its best and a very nice start to our travels. Would highly recommend La Casa Gran B & B.

Incredibly cosy accommodation, would really recommend! They have really put thought into the details - in interior, soaps, breakfast options - to make it cosy and unique. It's independent and not run by any big company, so the service always felt very personal and attentive. The area is very nice with a lot of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby and very easy to access with public transportation. Great value for money overall in Barcelona!

Keep in mind that it is next to a very busy main street, so it is definitely not quiet (our room was facing the street). However the hotel provided earplugs without even asking, which was nice. Don't expect a huge breakfast buffet, it is rather a few dishes on the smaller side that you can choose from (eg yoghurt and granola or bread with some charcuterie). It was filling of course, but for example on most days we went and had another coffee outside just after breakfast.

Viktor and Daniella were the kindest and most helpful property owners/workers I have ever met. You can be sure that they will do everything they can to make you happy. I sincerely thank them for their kindness and warm smiles.

These are just suggestions as a gift from me to them :) i like everything about the place no worriez. 1- even radiator was working , it was a bit cold at nights. Maybe the regulator in the apartment can be set to higher temperatures. 2- the noise from the street was annoying at first day but you will get used to it , it wont be a big problem. 3- The power outlets next to the bed didn’t work when the light was off; I believe they can easily fix this. 4- I think an additional trash bin would be nice inside the room for use.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Light, airy room. Very clean, comfortable bed and nice linens. I was in room 2, I really didn't hear street sound at all. Stayed in January, room was warm. Very lovely grand old apartment with a huge breakfast area and outdoor patio. Lots of older features which I liked. I think there's A/C now but you might want to check, some reviews said there wasn't. Great location for getting around. I didn't take the breakfast and had no real contact with staff but room was cleaned every day. I would definitely stay here again

The location is great, in the middle of the city, easy to find and reachable by public transport. The staff is very welcoming and nice. The room was clean (cleaned every day) and bed was comfortable. Nice homely atmosphere. The terrace is wonderful - even in January it was great to sit outside in the afternoon. Tasty breakfast with different options.

A little bit noisy, but it's understandable as it close to one of the main streets (Diagonal).

Excellent location and great directions given to get to the property by Viktor. Beautiful old building , toiletries provided. Friendly staff.

The shower / bath was in the bedroom and not in a separate room. That was ok for me as I was sharing with my sister but it should be made clear in the booking as some people may not be comfortable with that ( eg friends)

The B&B is located in a great area of Barcelona, with everything you need within walking distance as well as quick acces to public transport. Our room was very clean and had a great view of the city. Victor and Ana were super cool hosts, answering all our questions and accommodating our needs at every step. The breakfast was simple, yet delicious, made with seasonal and fresh ingredients every day. Thank you for making our honeymoon in Barcelona even lovelier than the city itself had already made it. We will be definitely returning in the future for an extended stay.

Nothing to say here, everything was great!

Very good location. The hotel is in a nice building. The staff was very polite and helpful. They respond immediately to all our requests. Breakfast was excellent on the nice terrace, the oasis very close to the city's center. They offer three choices for breakfast. Fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, fruit, and some pastries are served every day. Coffee and tea were available for self-service at all times.

We had a late flight and we were able to leave our things in the hotel, however, there was no bathroom that could be used before the trip.

The room was amazing, lovely decorated and really, really cosy! It was cleaned every day and the bed was extremely comfortable! There was water in the room every day and earplugs! The hosts were amazing : i was there for a congres, forgot to print my badge and Victor was very helpful and print it for me although our flight was very late and i got there at midnight also Anna was wonderful one morning when i wasn't feeling so well and couldn't eat my breakfast she wrapped it and put it in the fridge for me to have it later! She even recommended me some place were i can eat and what to visit! The breakfast has only 3 options but all are very tasty! Thanks for an amazing stay Anna and Victor! If i ever come back to Barcelona i will be staying with you for sure!
