The reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We were greeted by a smile every time we entered the hotel, and all of our questions and requests were immediately answered. The location of the hotel is perfect, it is just a few blocks away from a metro station and even many of the significant architectural landmarks, but the immediate surroundings of the hotel don't feel too crowded. There is a nice supermarket right next to the hotel, which came in very handy. The rooms themselves are all you would need them to be, the photos paint the picture fairly accurately. Overall, we were delighted with our stay, and will highly consider coming back to Moods Oasis the next time we visit the beautiful city of Barcelona.

Don't expect a nice view of the city, as the entire hotel is situated on the first floor. For example, our window was facing another building. The temperature at the indoor section of the breakfast lounge was a bit too cold for our liking, but that problem was easily solved by simply moving to the outdoor section. This was only a very minor issue, that I am certain is more of a question of personal preference.

Clean, looks neat, staff are Nice

The soundproof is not good actually, very clearly coughing from next room..

It was great to see there was a water refill station, with and without gas. And a coffee machine which used freshly ground beans. The rooms were nice a quiet from outside noise and the AC was quiet enough that I barely felt it whilst sleeping. There are a lot of good restaurants around!

There was a light coming from the fire detector that was a little bit annoying whilst sleeping. I did not ask if the light could be turned off or hidden during my stay, nor did I bring my sleeping mask so my own fault really. Regardless, something for those that are a little light sensitive to keep in mind.

A good selection of food types, catering for most European tastes, with coffee from a machine, which was fine, if a little slow. Cereals, breads, fruits, yogurt, pastries, bacon, cheese, eggs all presented well in a comfortable and relaxed dining area. Comfortable bed and clean room/bathroom with shower. Free coffee on reception area and free safe in room.

Room was a little dark, even with all the lights on, but this is a minor quibble. Sometimes voices from the corridor could be heard. The only waste bin in the room was in the bathroom, I would like to see a separate waste bin in the bedroom.

I'm giving this a 10 because the location was great and close enough to the metro, bus stops. What we liked was that you could fill your water bottle any anytime of the night or day. Also, there was a soda dispenser. Super helpful and useful thing as it's otherwise tough/expensive to get water. Breakfast was good and had eggs, meat, come cakes, flakes, yogurts and though it's did not change, it's more than what one would need to eat. You could also ask for packed breakfast, if you informed them 4 days in advance. I did not use the Wifi, so can't comment. The receptionist were helpful with their information. We stayed for 4 nights

We needed packed breakfast on the day after our arrival, but they informed us we need to give a 4 day notice. It's not a big thing as there are places to eat around.

All the staff were extremely kind and helpful. In particular, Julieta at the reception was incredibly attentive and supportive in every way. I’m especially grateful for her patience and warm attitude. The hotel was also very clean and well-organized, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Its location is excellent — within walking distance to many attractions and very close to both bus and metro stations. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Barcelona.

Outstanding staff, who were helpful and friendly. One should ignore the older reviews because it has clearly changed. Lovely terrace in the back, perfect for fresh air and hanging out. Location is very good, although a bit of a hike to the metro (a few good buses around the corner). Many good restaurants and some 7 bakeries around the hotel.

Our only problem was that the air in the room was a bit stale and we needed the air on to breath well. And metro is a bit far. Nothing else!

The hotel feels, indeed, like a small oasis. Situated in the cool hippie and vernacular vibe of Gracia it provides a "modern" coziness, without looking completely divorced from the surroundings. I really appreciated the newly renovated bathrooms, minimalist design and "clean" feeling of the room (with some industrial touches). The breakfast area was left open 24 hours as a recreation space, including the patio, which is a nice outdoors option.

There was some mold-like smell, most probably coming from the bathroom, probably attributed to the ventilation system. It was not that bad and could easily be ignored, but it was somehow sticking out in the overall aesthetics of clean and cozy, so maybe worth being taken a look :)

This hotel is in a mostly residential neighborhood. There are many stores, restaurants, and shops nearby. The hotel is small: only 37 rooms. I had made a request for a large bed since my boyfriend is quite tall, and they were able to do that for us. Though the room was not large, it did have room to maneuver and a decent sized closet. The bathroom was not tiny. Breakfast was pretty basic, but fine. There are outdoor and indoor eating areas which are pleasant.

Excellent and accessible location, affordable price, great selection at fixed price breakfast, friendly and kind staff and most important of all, a water fountain with flat and sparkling water so one can refill all day.

It was all good, in hot summer weather it would be great if accommodations did away with duvets in favor of just sheets, to match the weather. But the great duvet revolution has made it so everywhere has duvets no matter the weather, go figure.
