The reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We were greeted by a smile every time we entered the hotel, and all of our questions and requests were immediately answered. The location of the hotel is perfect, it is just a few blocks away from a metro station and even many of the significant architectural landmarks, but the immediate surroundings of the hotel don't feel too crowded. There is a nice supermarket right next to the hotel, which came in very handy. The rooms themselves are all you would need them to be, the photos paint the picture fairly accurately. Overall, we were delighted with our stay, and will highly consider coming back to Moods Oasis the next time we visit the beautiful city of Barcelona.

Don't expect a nice view of the city, as the entire hotel is situated on the first floor. For example, our window was facing another building. The temperature at the indoor section of the breakfast lounge was a bit too cold for our liking, but that problem was easily solved by simply moving to the outdoor section. This was only a very minor issue, that I am certain is more of a question of personal preference.

It was great to see there was a water refill station, with and without gas. And a coffee machine which used freshly ground beans. The rooms were nice a quiet from outside noise and the AC was quiet enough that I barely felt it whilst sleeping. There are a lot of good restaurants around!

There was a light coming from the fire detector that was a little bit annoying whilst sleeping. I did not ask if the light could be turned off or hidden during my stay, nor did I bring my sleeping mask so my own fault really. Regardless, something for those that are a little light sensitive to keep in mind.

A good selection of food types, catering for most European tastes, with coffee from a machine, which was fine, if a little slow. Cereals, breads, fruits, yogurt, pastries, bacon, cheese, eggs all presented well in a comfortable and relaxed dining area. Comfortable bed and clean room/bathroom with shower. Free coffee on reception area and free safe in room.

Room was a little dark, even with all the lights on, but this is a minor quibble. Sometimes voices from the corridor could be heard. The only waste bin in the room was in the bathroom, I would like to see a separate waste bin in the bedroom.

I'm giving this a 10 because the location was great and close enough to the metro, bus stops. What we liked was that you could fill your water bottle any anytime of the night or day. Also, there was a soda dispenser. Super helpful and useful thing as it's otherwise tough/expensive to get water. Breakfast was good and had eggs, meat, come cakes, flakes, yogurts and though it's did not change, it's more than what one would need to eat. You could also ask for packed breakfast, if you informed them 4 days in advance. I did not use the Wifi, so can't comment. The receptionist were helpful with their information. We stayed for 4 nights

We needed packed breakfast on the day after our arrival, but they informed us we need to give a 4 day notice. It's not a big thing as there are places to eat around.

The hotel feels, indeed, like a small oasis. Situated in the cool hippie and vernacular vibe of Gracia it provides a "modern" coziness, without looking completely divorced from the surroundings. I really appreciated the newly renovated bathrooms, minimalist design and "clean" feeling of the room (with some industrial touches). The breakfast area was left open 24 hours as a recreation space, including the patio, which is a nice outdoors option.

There was some mold-like smell, most probably coming from the bathroom, probably attributed to the ventilation system. It was not that bad and could easily be ignored, but it was somehow sticking out in the overall aesthetics of clean and cozy, so maybe worth being taken a look :)

Location is perfect for visiting Barcelona. Bars, and restaurants in walk distance are more than enough for good breakfast and dinner. The hotel personell are very friendly, willing to help and provided me more than I need - best experiences ever. Beyond that: - a public room for sitting and enjoy the evening. We used it also for having some simple meal bought from outside. - a water spender providing cooled and water with gas, and yes, you can refill it everyday.

Like other guests mentioned, the noices from floor are not well isolated. People speeking and walking in the floor woke me up several times. This was extreme uncomfortable, as in one night some other guests talked loudly in the floor at 3:00. The hotel should try to enhance this, because the current isolation level is really bad. During my stay of 6 nights, there were also construction work in the neighoured house, which started with drilling at 06:00 or 07:00. The hotel personell could handle this in time and I am very satisfied actually with their efforts.

The location is excellent. 5 minutes' walk from the Metro station. We found an awesome coffee shop (Slowmow) in the neighborhood. We visited some attractions, which are just 20 minutes' walk. The staff was kind and helpful! The breakfast was delicious. The terrace on top is not only stylish but also interesting. Other buildings surround it, and there's a golf course.

Maybe they can improve the style of the rooms. They were average, but if they added some colors and pictures, they would be more cozy.

We have spent great three nights in Barcelona. The hotel is situated in a lovely neighborhood, not that close to the city centre, but it wasn't an issue for us at all as we love exploring. There are lots of coffee shops, restaurants and places for breakfast nearby. We were able to enjoy a room overlooking the street, free coffee/tea in the lobby and a beautiful main terrace as well. The bathroom was one of the best we experienced so far and the double bed and pillows were really comfy. Thank you to the front desk staff, especially the girl who checked us in, unfortunately I couldn't catch her name. (: We will definitely have the hotel in mind for any future travels to Barcelona.

The only issue we had was that the electricity was cut off 2 hrs before the check out so we had to leave earlier. We could however leave our bags in the luggage room as our flight was late in the evening. Oh and there were some noisy hotel guests in the hallway in the evening which wasn't such an issue but it wasn't great as well.

The staff that I interacted with were friendly and extremely helpful. Location was perfect for my needs, and is very close to the Metro and the Diagonal (for busses, taxis, shops, etc). Lots of food options nearby too. Bed was comfy, shower was massive. Room was impeccably clean.

There was some noise outside my room in the mornings, but this wasn't too disruptive (just the usual morning hotel activities - I was a little close to the dining room). The breakfast was fairly limited and offered standard buffet stuff (pastries, cereal, fruit, toast, scrambled eggs). The quality was reasonable, but at EUR12 it wasn't worth the money.
