Part 3 of our honeymoon and last city to visit out of 3 cities, 3 countries, was Barcelona. Staying in this cute hotel was overall good with a minor issue. Staff was friendly, professional. We had an issue with the AC. It was quite hot in our room. Only the AC fan seemed to work and kick out very limited cool air or at times, not enough or just shut off. When we disclosed this issue, maintenance said they fixed it. However, the same symptoms would be present each time upon returning to the room. It wasn't until the last night, before flying out, a different maintenance individual said it was clearly not working right and had asked his superiors to put us in a better room, immediately. The new room, hands down, was so much colder and even had more space in the bathroom to put things on. It had a traditional shower door that closed all the way, alleviating any mess on the floor. If they would have moved us sooner, it would have made our stay top notch. We did state how disappointed we were with the AC issue to the front desk and just wanted to be comfortable. With that being said, the hotel did credit back all our days of breakfast we paid for, for the inconvenience. They did this even though we did not ask for any type of credit or refund for anything. We were quite grateful for that. We knew at that point they realized the situation was not properly handled by other hotel employees and took measures to make it right and apologized. The location was great as it was near Paseo and Las Ramblas. We were able to walk everywhere. Rooms were simple and clean. Where they lacked counter space, they sure had ample closet space. In our first room, the shower door was short, awkward; no matter how hard we tried to avoid it, the shower water soaked the floor. The breakfast was absolutely lovely. So much to choose from and well worth it. We really enjoyed that every day!! Overall, we enjoyed the hotel and would consider staying here again and/or recommend it to others.

AC a continuous issue and didn't feel like we were being heard or believed at first. No coffee/tea or a complimentary bottled water in the room. No fridge to store leftovers or goodies from a local store.

The staff, both at reception and cleaning, were professional and pleasant throughout my stay. Its a nice clean modern hotel, that extended from the reception, hallways to the room. Comfy bed and tidy room, and had a great daily clean from staff. Loved the free water, tea, etc facilities. Great location, with the metro not too far, but also there were so many fantastic cafés and restaurants just around the corner.

The only quibble about my stay was that I couldn't borrow a iron and ironing board to iron my clothes for a wedding that I was visiting Barcelona for. The lovely people at reception explained that as too many guests in the past had burned clothes or caused damage, that it was no longer available. Which is totally understandable, but it did mean dashing to a local laundrette in the hope they'd have the clothes ironed in time. I would recommend perhaps having a clothes steamer made available for guests.

The staff is super nice, the hotel is very clean. And the breakfast was fresh, varied and very tasty. I liked that it had some local specialties among other more regular foods. The rooms are very small, with basic stuff, minimal furniture, no fridge, small balcony, all clean and functional. There is a tv with programs is many languages. In the bathroom there are nice, soft towels, hair dryer, shampoo & shower gel. It is easy to get anywhere from the hotel by bus or metro. They seem to have a shuttle to the airport, but I didn't use it. There is a church on the other side of the street, but it is not an issue, they keep the bells to a minimum.

This is not a place to stay in for views. Some rooms up to 7th floor have a view at a wall. Floors 8-10 at least get some daylight. One of the lifts is old, the door need a few attemtpt to close. Otherwise, it functions well, and there is a second lift, which is fine.

It is the second time I stay and I love the location, transport and everything about the hotel. I found the Staff very helpful too. The room was very good and I had the space I needed. Thank you for your wonderful welcome. I will come back again!

Unlimited coffee, tea, and water - I didn't expect that at all! Very helpful personnel - when I was sitting and working in the lobby, the staff showed me the office room on the first floor. My floor had a common terrace with a great view. Very good breakfast. My single room felt (or was) larger than expected. I had a nice view from my high floor. It was very quiet. The suburban train station is literally next door to the hotel - very convenient for traveling!

No cons. Maybe a socket close to the bed to charge my smartphone would be great. Also, the shower door could have better sealing to avoid water on the bathroom floor when opening the door. However, this is a high-level complaint :)

The hotel has only 2 stars, but I definitely give it a lot more for all that has to offer. Helpfull staff, clean room with all you need, great breakfast, nice common areas to spend time in (I loved the 9th floor terrace with a view over the city). The location also is great, on a quieter street just a few minutes to walk from center and quite a few famous attractions, supermarkets and bus /metro station nearby. All in all, I totally recommend it.

The hotel is in a very good location (near metro station but also not so far if you want to walk through the sights of Barcelona). It also has a small terrace with nice view of the city. The room was nice and clean. There is a buffet for breakfast with many different choices and also you can get coffee and some beverages through the whole day. It is very convenient that they can keep your luggage after the check out. Finally, all the staff was very polite and friendly.

Most impressive was the freshly renovated room – everything was modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. The comfortable bathroom with its modern amenities was a great advantage, and the bed was extremely cozy, allowing me to fully relax after a busy day.

It was surprising that the duvet was not covered with a proper cover but placed between two sheets, which seemed quite impractical. Additionally, the room was poorly soundproofed – I could clearly hear doors slamming in the hallway as well as a party happening in the next room, making it difficult to relax

The location was excellent. Gracia is a lively neighborhood. There are many restaurant and pub alternatives around the hotel. The hotel is also very close to two different subway stations. It is just three stations away from the Plaça de Catalunya.

The single room is tiny. Of course, this is not a criticism since the hotel provides this information here. But the problem was the room's window was looking at the shaft so that I couldn't freshen the room.
