It is the second time I stay and I love the location, transport and everything about the hotel. I found the Staff very helpful too. The room was very good and I had the space I needed. Thank you for your wonderful welcome. I will come back again!

Unlimited coffee, tea, and water - I didn't expect that at all! Very helpful personnel - when I was sitting and working in the lobby, the staff showed me the office room on the first floor. My floor had a common terrace with a great view. Very good breakfast. My single room felt (or was) larger than expected. I had a nice view from my high floor. It was very quiet. The suburban train station is literally next door to the hotel - very convenient for traveling!

No cons. Maybe a socket close to the bed to charge my smartphone would be great. Also, the shower door could have better sealing to avoid water on the bathroom floor when opening the door. However, this is a high-level complaint :)

Most impressive was the freshly renovated room – everything was modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. The comfortable bathroom with its modern amenities was a great advantage, and the bed was extremely cozy, allowing me to fully relax after a busy day.

It was surprising that the duvet was not covered with a proper cover but placed between two sheets, which seemed quite impractical. Additionally, the room was poorly soundproofed – I could clearly hear doors slamming in the hallway as well as a party happening in the next room, making it difficult to relax

Everything was great - the only complaints I'd have would be nitpicks. Such as no slippers in the rooms, or that there's no electrical socket near the bed.

Location is fantastic, 3 minutes away from metro station and 30 min walk to Plaza de Catalunya. Room was big and spacious, as well as the bathroom. The quarter is full of bars, either for breakfast or for having a drink at night. It's wonderful touch that you can get water and very good quality coffee all day and night along for free. The staff was very kind, we stored our luggage both at the arrival and the day of the departure and they booked a taxi for us. The breakfast served at hotel is very good, with not so big selection of foods, but of a great quality.

The wi-fi signal in the room was sometimes weak. Moreover, sometimes there was unpleasant smell in the room, but that's the problem of the drainage in the whole city.

Location was perfect

The only thing was that the necessity to pay upfront for the booking was not clearly demonstrated at the booking time. I made a reservation and then I went to the mountains for a weekend with very limited access to the internet, and next day I got like 20 emails from hotel and booking.com requesting to pay immediately or my reservation would be cancelled. And with very low connection I had to spend almost an hour trying to make sense of it. This is a very upsetting experience and it should be stated UPFRONT on the booking.com page, in bold letters, something like this: WHEN YOU MAKE THE RESERVATION ENSURE THAT YOU PAY FOR IT RIGHT AWAY. In other case it feels like a very unfair deal and almost like a fraud.

We were at the hotel for a few days, and we never stopped admiring the attitude of the employees, the flexibility to our requests, the cleanliness of the room, the quietness - even though the hotel was full of guests, the excellent breakfast, the location - 2 minutes walk from the metro station. At the reception/entrance to the dining room, there is a free coffee machine. It was excellent, so you don't need it in the room! We come to Barcelona every time, and now, we no longer have any doubts about our permanent place to continue.

Location near metro stations - and Garcia is a great neighbourhood with nice cafes, bars, and squares. Also lovely staff and great breakfast. Nice little terrace on 9th floor. Good shower too. And coffee machine available to guests 24/7.

There was quite a lot of traffic noise in our room even with windows shut. Maybe it is less noisy higher up (we were on 3rd floor) or with a room at the back (ours faced on to the main road (Via Augusta). A few more hangers/towel hooks would be good!

Convenient location, safe area. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when my aircon had issues. The free tea and lemons were also appreciated, especially as I came down with a slight cold and needed something warm. Room was neat and tidy, spacious for a solo traveller.

The walls can be thin. I was frequently woken up by the banging of doors from the occupants next door, amongst other nightly activities. Might want to travel with earplugs. Lighting was a bit dim, but no big inconvenience there.

It was my first time visit to Barcelona and my first time doing a solo trip as well. The hotel is located perfectly close to all the major transport connections. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. The single room is small but it is all you need, in Barcelona you are out and about the whole day.

Would have loved to have more power outlets closer to the bed but that is such a minor thing, I got by regardless.
