I just loved breakfast! From freshly made frittata to a variety of cold cuts - everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really clean.

Bathroom should have separate hair and shower gel.

The room was very clean and comfortable and I like the decor. The location was perfect, right next to a metro station and close to a lit of restaurants, supermarkets and cool bars but not a noisy one so once we got there we were able to rest. The breakfast was amazing too, so worth it.

The only thing I’d say was a negative point would be the shower, that was very tiny and there was no place to hold the toiletries inside, making it a bit of work to get ready in the morning but it’s just a detail, and did not impact our experience overall, because it was great.

Very clean room and (shared) bathrooms. Friendly staff (with limited English). Breakfast was good, with a large variety of items offered, including cold cuts, bread for toasting, olives, radishes, fruit, juices, cereal, coffee, tea and pasteries. Ductless split in the room worked well and made the temperature quite comfortable as it was humid and 27C outside. Window of our room looked out to a church and a busy main road, but the noise was no problem at night as there was a metal roll down exterior shade which blocked street light and noise. Hosts were available from early morning until 8 p.m. They communicated with us before arrival and we were able to drip off our luggage and check in around 11:00 a.m. which is a better check in time than hotels offer.

If the hosts spoke more English we would have asked for some recommendations for dining etc. We would have liked to be able to heat the frittata that was one of the breakfast offerings; perhaps with more communication possible we could have had this done. The bathrooms are shared so one sometimes has to wait for availability. However they were always kept very clean. It was approx. 20 minutes walk to the closest hop-on-hop off bus BUT the metro access was only two blocks away.

Absolutely everything. Spotlessly clean. The room is spacious, good location, close to all amenities; breakfast that is included in the price also offers a generous enough selection. Above everything it was also a really good price deal.

Nothing. I wouldn’t have only liked if it had cost us 240 per night; like it was before the deal.The bathroom is shared and not accessible directly from the room, therefore 140/150 per night is adequate.

The hotel was a good location for checking out Gracia district, local to metro and bus services into the centre. The hotel had a nice communal area for eating breakfast. I had a room with a shared bathroom, the room was quite small however perfect for my needs, very clean and well designed with a comfortable bed. The shared bathroom was never a concern,a large, clean and well styled bathroom with a powerful walk in shower, it was always available. The reception on arriving quickly discovered that I would need to miss breakfast due to an early departure time, based on this I was offered a breakfast box for the morning which I accepted - bonus touch. Hotels are very expensive in BCN, I would always prefer a room with a bathroom however for the price and the fact it was only a place to lay my head before catching a flight I was very pleased with the experience and would consider this as an option for future trips to BCN.

The breakfast was amazing. We had plenty of choice to eat. Rooms and bathroom were clean.

The room was so small. It was not good for a couple.

Lovely place, it was very clean and the staff were so thoughtful. Checked in and the ac was already going in the room and they had dimmed the lights. It was all very nice. Plus I thought I would be sharing a bathroom but I ended up having a bathroom all to myself. The breakfast was a real treat too. Oh! And they were very acommodating in helping me to store my luggage.

I wish there had been a window in the room.

My triple room was adequate in size, well-kept and clean. It was a corner low floor unit, but the street noise was inaudible with the windows closed. Plenty of towels were provided. The breakfast spread was simply but bountiful. Staff was warm and friendly, with some travel advice thrown in. We love to walk, so the 15-20-minute walk to Passeig de Gracia and La Rambla was just the right exercise for us.

The charming hotel is housed in an old building. If not for the huge "65" (Lot address) in front I would have missed the place. The shower cubicle is a bit tiny.

Oh, I liked my stay in Blue Barcelona very much. I was beautifully taken care of. I got my room keys even after the check-in ended. Everything there was well thought of, super clean and super friendly and helpful staff. My stay was comfortable and nice. I felt like at home. Thank you!

One can always find things that were not good enough, for him or her, right? Since Booking likes long comments, I want to mention just one tiny thing. The sound of the street came into the room also during the night. But I felt very OK the next day, probably because of comfortable beds. :)

The staff was great and helpful, the breakfast selection was really good and the location was perfect it is within walking distance of most of the things to see in Barcelona or close to the central stations.

We got the room in corner 108, although the view on the street is amazing unfortunately the walls are too thin so you will be woken up in the night or the morning (since it's located next to the breakfast room). It's manageable but not ideal to make a perfect experience with the hotel.
