The room was really clean. The bed is soft and comfortable (although, the pillows are too soft for my taste). There blackout curtains on the windows so the morning light won't bother you. We had a room with a nice balcony overlooking the atmospheric courtyard, we really liked it. There are a fridge and a microwave for clients in the lobby. The staff was nice. The location is really good, so many beautiful buildings nearby. It takes about half an hour to get to Sagrada Familia by foot through beautiful streets.

It would be great if there are a couple of glasses and plates. So don't forget to take tourist tableware or to buy disposable one. Unfortunately there are no dishes in the hotel at all. Also it would be great if there are an electric kettle. WiFi doesn't work very well, but there are many connection points with the same pass, so you can switch to a working one. We didn't have a desk in our room, only the garden table in the balcony made of planks with gaps. It was okay for us, but if you are going to write or draw in your trip, then you need to take this point into account.

Personal was helpful even gave us a routes how to reach hostel from airport. Also we liked a destination - it is at one of the longest streets in Barcelona (av. Diagonal). Option to leave your baggage for some hours after checkout - also a comfortable thing.

It was something wrong with conditioning (it was said to be changed in some time). Also the water in the bathroom was kinda gathering, so then we were back after all day walking we sensed a bit unfreshness and had to open the windows.

This is a no frills bed close to Atocha Station and museum row in Madrid. From some windows you can see the entrance to Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía as it shares a courtyard. The rooms are larger than other similar hostel, hotel rooms of similar price.

You share a bathroom and there are only two for all the rooms. The rooms have steam heat but it is set by the hotel so you have no control over the temperature.

We arrived from the airport with luggage and the staff allowed us to store them until check-in. Bonus - there was an elevator! It is important to have a heavy load. Cleanliness at a high level, excellent location, close to Casa Mila and also to the church built by Gaudi.

The fridge was shared and the lighting was economical so the hallway was dark most of the time

Well located. Close to public transportation. The welcome receptionist was very helpful and friendly giving restaurant recommendations , scheduling a taxi pick up.

No evening reception. Had an issue with a guest playing loud music at 6am. Bathroom was really small. I don’t know if AC unit did work. I kept trying to cool room.

The location is excellent, because you can visit the most popular places in Barcelona pretty easy. Tha staff of the hotel is very nice and kind.

I knew that the room will be small, but didn't thought it will be so small. It would be also good, if there would be an electric kettle in the room.

The position is great, very close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The staff is extremely kind and there were able to help with all our requests. They even provide the possibility to leave your luggage in the room at checkout and you can go back to the hotel to collect them before 10pm.

Our welcome was exceptional, Isabelle gave us all the information and recommendations we required. The hostel is unassuming from the street but perfectly situated in the city, walking distance to everywhere. We stayed 3 nights, cleaning was excellent. Interior balcony peaceful and quiet, hard to imagine the busy street you are on.

Ideally would have had tea and coffee making facility and glasses for drinks. All else just fine 😄

Small room but everything was clean. Staff were very friendly.

Very overpriced for what you got. You had to catch public transport for all the main attractions of the city. The only window opened to a dirty ally way that let a bad smell in.

Hostal Petit Princep is located on avinguda Diagonal, one of the main streets in the area of the Example district. While not so close to the metro there are many buses bringing you directly to main spots such as Estaciò del Norte and Sants train station. The rooms are small but with some outstanding features at this price such as air conditioning and private bathroom.

The hostal does not have a reception 24h so make sure you get there by the check-in time you selected when booking. Overall it is a nice accommodation but, as they do dynamic pricing (like most hotels nowadays), some days their value point for money may be less attractive. Anyway I was lucky to find a very good price tho! :-)
