+ The swimmingpool was very nice. Not crowded at all when we were there in the middle of summer. Huge plus. + The room was bigger than we expected and very nice with a balcony too. + The bed was nice and cleaning was good. + a supermarket (Lidl) is nearby, 5 min by foot. + metro is 10-15 min walk from the hotel. Downhill. But when coming back it is uphill. That wasn't a problem for us but you might reconsider if this would be a problem for you. We did not use the shuttle serrvice that they offer.

- The restaurant is very poor. Do not eat there if you have other options. The location is nice but the food tasted very bad. Not fresh. The waiters do not speak English. And they are very unfriendly and don't even talk to you. Bad experience - Be careful with the key cards. They stop working when they are in your wallets next to other cards or close to your phone. - It is not a typical tourist hotel, there are many events too for business or weddings. This is not a bad thing but we had 2 nights with parties that continued till very late (2 AM).

The staff were friendly, especially at reception. The rooms were clean and kept clean and the balcony view was beautiful. The price for the whole week was decent especially during primavera times. The pool area was lovely and the restaurant food was really nice and reasonable prices. The park nearby was beautiful too

It was quite far from the rest of the city so be wise about your location and where you need to be. There was confusion about where to be served for food as well and wait times could be a while. Be wary of the uphill in case you have mobility issues and there isnt many other places to eat nearby

I had a wonderful stay at Abba Garden Hotel this August. Located just outside the city center, it offers a perfect balance between calm surroundings and easy metro access to downtown Barcelona. The room was bright, spacious, and very comfortable, with beautiful views toward the hills. Breakfast was fresh and varied, and the outdoor pool was a refreshing bonus. The staff were welcoming and professional throughout my stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-equipped hotel with smooth connections to the city, Abba Garden is an excellent choice. I’d definitely return.

I actually did not have any expectation for the place. I had some business at BSC, and the usual hotels I stay had no availability. as this hotel is reasonably close (i.e. walking distance) I gave it a try. I had a great (but very short) stay. The room was great (probably got an upgrade or two), very large, great bathroom, very clean, bath with jacuzzi function, everything great. But what was really exceptional was the breakfast. Spanish hotels are not really that known for having a great breakfast, but Abba Garden hotel had one which is better than most other places I visit. Glutenfree options, discretely on the side, local products clearly labeled, very rich and diverse buffet. Simply great. I will come again.

Well, if you are visiting Barcelona the city, this is a bit on the wayside. It will take a while to get to the city proper. It is a great spot if you are by car and you want to explore around Barcelona and have seen the city enough. To be honest, it is also not that far, just that there would be other hotels that would have it easier if you intend to make a city tour.

The hotel was very good. The people - nice and friendly, ready to help. The bed was really comfortable, the bath was wide. The room was renovated and had a terrace.

The food in the restaurant was not very good. It was tasteless, uncooked, and quite pricey, especially for the quality. The hotel is very far from any shops and restaurants, so you have no choice to eat elsewhere. Of course, the hotel is not responsible for that, but they could improve the quality of the service they provide

Staff were incredibly attentive, answered our 2000 silly questions with no hesitation. Room was great, nice sized with comfortable beds. AC is always a bonus when it’s warm too! Swimming pool was nice and secluded too, and never overly busy, always got a space when we wanted one! Easy bus and metro routes into the city centre too! (Make sure to get a hola Barcelona card!) I am coeliac too, staff went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of at breakfast! Absolutely amazing hotel, 10/10 would come again.

Only issue was spa was out of order due to restrictions in the area surrounding saving water, which is perfectly understandable.

Breakfast was lovely and had a variety of options. Location is a bit far from the center but very calm and lovely with a great city view. The room and bathroom are spacious and very comfortable, but also very clean.

Unfortunately the gym was not working and I was so sad for not being able to train during my stay.. not sure that this was mentioned during my booking, but everything else was great.

I liked very much the following : everything was clean, the bathroom has a great hair drier, the room was big, the stuff was helpful and polite.

The location isn't the best one considering the distance from the city center and the fact that it's on the hill. A small challenge to get there after you walk a full day in the city , but doable. Also a small thing that can improve the experience would be the hotel room slippers.

The hotel staff was great. The pool was great, although a bit too cold for me (I'm from Florida). There is a nice garden. There is a restaurant on-site and a minibar in the room. They were able to give us 4 single beds, which was what we needed.

For me, the bed was way too firm. I did not sleep well at all. The location is nowhere near the center, so you need to take the metro or a taxi. We used taxis. We had breakfast once. It was 18 EURO. I know hotel breakfasts are often expensive. I did not think it was worth 18 EURO, but the pastries, fruit, and juice were good.

The hotel was very clean , rooms were spacious good beds and fridge was handy.. the bathroom was great size and lovely size bath…. View from the hotel you overlook the city and at night is spectacular also the pool was a relief for us after a hot day at the Grand Prix to cool off and relax.the staff are just as amazing and very helpful.. could not do enough for us to make our stay special….
