The view from the hostel was surprisingly nice, it kind of compensated for the steep streets leading there. Also, the whole design was quite modern, sometimes it gave the impression of a hotel. What I appreciated the most was the staff, since they not only resolved some problems with the AC immediately, but they also arranged that we (3 girls) could get into a room for women only, even though we booked 3 beds in 3 different mix dormitories, so they took good care of our comfort.

The kitchen area smelled really disgusting making it impossible to eat there and quite difficult to even go there to prepare some food. There were some problems with the AC in our room, but in the lobby it worked perfectly, so it was probably just a little malfunction.

Mellow Hostel El Paredón fosters a vibrant community atmosphere with a range of activities. Guests can participate in daily yoga sessions, join family dinners on Mondays and Thursdays, and engage in various events such as beer pong tournaments, trivia nights, and the Mellowlympics. Every Friday, the hostel hosts a lively party featuring electronic music and live DJs, providing an excellent opportunity to mingle with fellow travelers.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at mellow hostel Barcelona, and I must say it exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The hostel is perfectly located, close to public transport 7 min from the hostel and major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I stayed in a shared dorm, but the atmosphere was friendly and respectful. The common areas were cozy and offered great opportunities to meet fellow travelers. The free Wi-Fi was reliable, which is always a plus. One of the highlights was the hostel's terrace with stunning views of the mountains. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Overall, mellow hostel experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay in Barcelona. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The other people/travellers in the hostel were also very friendly and welcoming. I liked the location of the hostel, it had a really nice view of the city and it was super easy to commute into the city on the metro.

The showers seem gross but it's always going to be like that at a hostel. There were limited toilets on the middle floor (floor 2), one of the toilets was always locked and the other one had a faulty lock. They didn't have an iron.

Thanks for a great stay! I'm really enjoying the location of your hostel. It's a nice change of pace to be a little further from the city center, and I appreciate the peaceful atmosphere.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all the staff working in the hostel for their warm welcome and treatment. I felt like I was a member of the family through their treatment of me. They always had a smile on my face, respected and appreciated me. Everything was good.

I had wonderful stay at hostel the cleanliness was outstanding, i especially want highlight the amazing cleaning staff who kept everything spotless the recepción staff was friendly and helpful.. my bed was super comfortable thank you .. janan very nice and helpful like always 🤩❣️

Everything was gooooddd

The layout of the place. It has a pleasant and comfortable terrace. Three stories tall building with working lift, so it is really accessible inside. Not much traffic outside and since no alcohol it’s quiet, good for those who need rest.

Somehow it is annoying that there should be no alcohol on the premises. There is noticeably less cutlery than there are people in the hostel. The location is beautiful, but It is high up the hill so reaching there was a nightmare at moments when the lift bringing you up might be not functional. I know it’s not their fault, but still.

The place is clean, the staff are very kind and when you ask them about something they do their best to sort it out. Whenever I will get the chance for sure I will book my stay there. Highly recommended

It was pretty clean, with a great view, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning which is perfect for the spanish heat! And the staff was friendly!

The location is on top of a VERY steep hill and if you’re taking the subway you have to walk 15-20 min uphill to reach it
