Very easy to find: a separate tall building with a bright "Ibis" sign on the top. Two malls nearby with cafes and shops. The south one has a small live concert every Saturday morning for an hour or two. As the room is high up, it's quite quiet even with an open window. Very nice reception, they helped us with printing and some tea. Big is a good size, more than 140cm for sure. Desk easily fits a 13 inch laptop. The temperature in the room was good even with +12 C outside, so I think insulation is good.

About 15 minutes walk from any metro station through a slightly shady park, not the best conclusion for almost a 1.5h total trip from the BCN airport (that starts with 20 minutes walk by itself because the station is far away from the terminal). Attractions are again ~15m walk + 15m by metro. The room is relatively small (but bigger than in London), especially the bathroom that feels like a one piece of plastic. No facilities in the room like an iron, a kettle, or a fridge. I'm not sure how well AC/heating will work in the middle of summer/winter: the hotel "recommends" +19 in winter and +25 in summer.

Breakfast offered all we needed and everything got refilled as soon as needed. Room was comfy. However, the 3rd bed (couch) was not cleaned thoroughly. Beds were good, rooms silent enough. Hotel offered some theme nights which was nice too. Location great. Close to the main metro stations, so within 30 mins you got everywhere. Shopping mall a stone's throw away, incl restaurants and fast food joints, swimming pool, supermarkets.

We missed a toilet brush.

The initial manager on the day of arrival was great very knowledgeable. Checked us in early, which was very good. Was able to give us information and advice on the metro and how to make our trips cheaper. The location of the hotel was good for metro and local supermarkets. Good views from rooms.

Ordered their signature lemonchelo spritz and received lemonade with extra lemon. My wife ordered approl spritz and only got approl flavouring with lemonade. Complained but only got the don't understand answer. It appeared the bar person had NO IDEA what she was doing. The pillows were flat and just about useless No fine dining restaurants in location, only smaller chain stores and family run restaurants. On one occasion, we went to a restaurant for dinner after checking opening times and were told that due to no patrons, they were not opening even though there were four of us.

Ibis Barcelona Meridiana offers clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is situated near a shopping centre and supermarket, providing convenient amenities. While it's not located in the city centre, it's approximately a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station, with a 30–40 minute ride to central attractions. The breakfast is varied and satisfying, and the Wi-Fi connection is reliable.Overall, it's a solid choice for budget-conscious travellers seeking a quiet stay with good access to public transport

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the café was conveniently located right at the entry and the lobby had nice seating. The room was basic but nicely decorated and with a cute, efficient bathroom that did not suffer from a post-shower flood on the floor (like so many other hotels and apartments do!) The breakfast, served in the same café at the entry, had good variety and fresh, hot food along with cold options, and was well maintained during service.

I don't have any complaints, especially for a one-night stay. The service was nice, the room was well designed and comfy, and a fairly good value for the price in a major city.

Good location. A bit away from the city but reachable via metros and trams (5-10 mins walk away). The breakfast was also quite good. The room itself was typical Ibis, quite compact. Maybe a few more hangars would have been nice.

The staff (not all of them), just one particular guy at the reception. Took ages to attend to us and then acted like he was offering his own room or beds to us. No information provided about some city registration needed for private cars even after asking (which Ibis mentioned in a message to ask the reception, very neat…). No information was provided about the voucher to be used when parking the car in the adjacent shopping complex. I came by to the reception a second time and another colleague gave me the details. In the end, everything was solved, but it leaves a sour note, when the colleagues who are supposed to help are not doing that

Nice stay overall. The room was confortable and very clean. Good view into the city skyline (glories and sometimes the sea). Although not very close to the city center it was less than 10min walk from 2 different metro stations (Fabra i Puig and Llucmajor) and it was easy to move around, it's also a safe area to do so at night. Good restaurants and other facilities nearby were very useful.

If this is your first time in Barcelona I would prefer to stay closer to the center. The room was not very spacious but we didn't find this a big problem. Shower temperature was a bit inconsistent (cold/ very hot).

We loved the location despite the fact it is not city center. By transport you relatively fast get to any place in the city and nearby you have big Mercadona, shopping mall and a lot of sport facilities (if you love to play ping pong bring your rocket to challenge locals). Also there are a lot of local Cerveceria's, wine shops with good prices & atmosphere + small cozy parks. Everything rest were at very decent level: breakfast, room, staff for the price you're paying.

Minor nuances: strange air-conditioning, bad smell during the night in the bathroom.

Room was absolutely normal, like any other. Comfy bed, table, clean bathroom. Everything you need for couple of days. Rich continental breakfast - flakes, pastry, ham, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, smashing eggs etc... It's out of the city center, the area is not crowded, but with everything you need - parks, restaurants and nearest metro station is 6 minutes walk. View from 10th floor was stunning.

I was surprised the wardrobe in the room was two small for two people.

All employees were kind and polite, they had special attention on my wife's mom and our little son. The breakfast was not extraordinary, but well the assortment was well selected.

Unfortunately the closest bus station is approximately in 10 mins walking distance which was a challenge for my wife's mother.
