I absolutely loved my time at Hostelle Barcelona, from the moment I walked in the door (after 11pm) I was greeted with the warmest of smiles and welcomes. The reception team were exceptional! I had GREAT advice on the cheapest, easiest way to get around, the best places to eat, the must-see touristy things, it was just awesome. I loved the huge kitchen, the planned evening activities (if you want to join in), the office space (I had to work!), the free tea and coffee, the gorgeous views from the rooftop and chilling there in the evenings, while someone played guitar from their neighbouring home. I honestly would book again TOMORROW. I loved feeling safe, being able to go downstairs in my pyjamas and chat to the other ladies. Simply the best experience!

Nice rooms and beds. Full working kitchen. Women of all ages and nationalities.
WiFi didn't connect in the bedrooms (works great on the reception/kitchen/coworking space. I wouldn't hang out in the walking neighborhood though the hostel is right on the metro line so a quick ride to city center.

I had an extended stay here and really got to know the property, which I loved. it is clean, open, and away from the tourist crowd but still accessible.
over the period of time I stayed here I had several items stolen - mainly toiletries and items I had left in the bathroom, which almost everyone does here, but I highly recommend to put ANYTHING of value locked away. Items were repeatedly stolen from me and all in a similar way/style, and although the staff is amazing, there was a real lack of concern anytime anything was stolen which seemed very odd to me. I even had two expensive books stolen. this was really disappointing and the only thing that I can complain about. but shame on me for feeling comfortable enough to not lock my things. I suggest you always do the same here.

everything was good! it’s a nice place with great vibes
i would recommend you to make a rule: be quiet and don’t speak in the rooms. I travel a lot, so i’ve been to a bunch of hostels and this is the first one which doesn’t have this rule. unfortunately, some people don’t have any respect for others. that’s why i woke up pretty much every night because my roommates decided to tell each other some gossip or facetime a friend (at 3 a.m.??).

Im a frequent traveller but this was the 1st only for woman hostel I've ever been too. I loved the experience. Stuff makes this hostel even more special. They are so friendly and do evening activities and parties 🥳 The design is bright, kitchen has everything if you want to cook. You have gym and iron in the basement room, and luggage room. Line 4 metro just infront of the entrance. The front door and room doors has a code lock so the space is safe and there won't be any strangers there and you won't lost a door key 🙈 In general that was one pf the best hostels I've been too. Gracias 😊
The only little thing that made us uncomfortable was the doors in the room (they are really loud and if you even try to close it quietly that is just not possible. So you are unlucky if your bed is next to it because even with earplugs you still might hear it))). And it would be great, if you will add some hooks for towels in a bathroom next to sinks.

As per my previous experiences with hostels, by far this one was the best. I felt safe and also didn’t have to be worries about keys and time as there’s the code for the front door and also the code to access the room. The curtains in the bed made me feel comfortable to sleep privately, also the locker provided to secure my valuable stuffs, also I left my moisturizer by accident at the sink and spent the whole day out, just realized I left it cause it was waiting for me when I reached back and went to the toilet. There’s events to get the travelers together like movie night, beach day, cocktail day and etc, just couldn’t enjoy it due to short stay and also wanted to explore the city. I definitely recommend it even is far from the center but metro is just in front, which is easy to move around as the public transport is really good. Staff is really friendly and will help you out with any questions.
Nothing to complain! One improvement would be hangers at the bathroom for hanging clothes while showering and a bathmat to leave the shower and not make everything wet around. It was some girls laughing and talking around 1am when they reached the room, also some are really messy leaving everything on the way but this is not the hostel fault as some people doesn’t know how common sense works and have no notion how to share places sometimes.

All the staff here are lovely and they provide lots of information about the area and the hostel. The only option for accommodation are 20 person rooms which may seem like alot but people are very respectful about noise levels at night and they do have a quiet policy from 10pm - 7am. The beds are very comfortable and have a curtain for privacy. There is a small locker underneath the bunk beds for valuables and the space for bags. There is a roof top which is great for some morning sun with tables and sun beds. The Hostel is at the very end of the Via Julia line which was great for us as we were going to Primavera festival and it meant we got on before the crowds. The metro is a 5 minute walk away and is on a direct line to the festival. There is a kitchen too so you can make meals if you're on a budget. For the price, the hostel is great and I would stay here again. Showers and toilets were always clean.
There are only 2 toilets and showers per floor to share between 20 people. This wasn't a problem for us since we were attending the festival so our sleep schedule was a but different to others at the hostel. I never had to wait to use any of the facilities but I can image at peak times it can be very busy.

Really agréable stay. There is a nice view from dorm, even if there is regularly fiesta at the foot of the building, the girls are all respectful of making the less noise as possible. The bed is clean with a little curtain for privacy and a electricity outlet in each box. Although it is complicated to secure completely luggage in the room, the safe is appreciated. there is a lot of activities at night at Hostelle and it is conveniently located near the metro. Free wifi is also a plus.
Shower in the same room as toilets can make it a little awkward but.

If you're looking for a safe, stylish, and super social hostel in Barcelona, this is it! Designed exclusively for women, it’s the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and fun—ideal for solo travelers or groups wanting a relaxed, hassle-free stay. What I Loved: ✨ Beautiful & Comfortable Rooms– Spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated. Perfect for longer stays! 🍳 Fully Equipped Kitchen – Super convenient for cooking your own meals and saving money. 📺 Cozy Netflix Lounge - Great for movie nights or just chilling after a day of exploring. 🌿 Gorgeous Balcony – The perfect spot for morning coffee or evening chats with new friends. 💪 On-Site Fitness Area – A nice bonus to stay active while traveling. The Best Part? The Themed Nights!🎉 This hostel isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience! The organized girls-only evenings were my absolute favorite- no annoying guys, just amazing women from all over the world bonding over fun activities. We cooked together, shared stories, laughed, and made unforgettable memories. If you love meeting open-minded, inspiring women in a relaxed setting, you’ll adore this place! P.S. The vibe here is so empowering—traveling solo never felt this easy and fun!✈️🌸

The vibes here were AMAZING! the conversations I had with staff and guests reinforced what I already knew about how awesome women-only spaces can be. Eva, Dharma, and Dani were the absolute best volunteer staff I could have hoped to meet. The kitchen is great, the gym, TV room and rooftop really add a lot to the hostel and the place is just awesome. It's steps away from the metro and a night bus also stops nearby, so getting to the hostel is easy any time of day or night. They have group activities in the hostel almost every day, so meeting others is super easy. This is arguably my favorite hostel in Barcelona and I HIGHLY recommend it The cons: you can't open the windows, so the dorms can get a tad stuffy. There are no proper lockers, so that might be an issue for some people. The showers don't offer a ton of privacy.
