It was clean staff helpful at Reception. Bedroom on a lower floor due to parent having a Disability.

The Restaurant no spoons to eat breakfast had to look all over for them ended up using a teaspoon, no servettes one on each table very poor quality. One male worker was rude due to pushing his dirty cutlery trolly. He called to me to move out of his way whilst he was behind me, I was carrying my breakfast, should have waited for me to get to my table. The juices in the morning not cold from the machine. They need to have tea/coffee making in the bedrooms.

Bedrooms are large with good sized balconies and sea views. The lift system is very efficient. Breakfast is good and varied, something for everyone. 24 hour reception. Swimming pool area. Location. One minute from the wonderful sandy beach and calm Mediterranean Sea.

The manual window shutters may be too heavy for some people to pull up and down. Mine got stuck but upon my notifying reception, was fixed very quickly.

The location was absolutely terrific. Right near beautiful beach promonade. Grocery store very close. Very nice patio, room was spacious. AC worked very well. Breakfast was very good. Great views. No need to park at hotel there was street parking everywhere. Free. Numerous restaurants right on beach. Very high energy location, bus stops, trolley stops.

The bed were very uncomfortable. Room and common areas inside hotel were old.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel - if you are lucky there is free parking outside of the hotel and not far to go to the beach and beautiful walks along the sea front - it was our wedding anniversary so they upgraded us to a bigger room which was very nice -a lovely big balcony - provided us with a kettle for our room when we enquired about it - but they prefer you to go to the bar obviously to get your tea/ coffee- had a great stay - just love the lift system they have.

Think the hotel/ rooms could do with a make over they are looking a bit tired now - the food wasn't so good.

The location next to the beach and famous landmark was great. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

The beds were a little hard, perhaps it is a time to update to IKEA. Absence of glass glasses was unfortunate. I understand that it is die to sustainability concepts but it feels misguided.

Good facilities, great sized rooms and balconies, friendly staff and good breakfast buffet.

Nothing really, could do with a bit of a freshen up but overall it’s great.

The room was very good we had full board and was excellent location was very good i highly recommend Calpe the staff was excellent very friendly even down to the ladies that clean your room well done

We always have a great time when we are in calpe the hotel is fantastic the staff exceptional rooms are clean and a wide choice of food in the restaurant we have been coming to the roca esmerelda for years now and it never disappoints

the only thing i would say is having an additional pool table be available this is the only negative to our holiday

The room was very clean and spacious the food is varied and lots of it location is very good lots of shops and the staff are fantastic

having another pool table would be great
