I wasn't expecting much, however the room that I had was great with a large area and desk space as well as the beds and a good spacious bathroom. The staff were brilliant throughout my stay even when there was a minor issue with the booking. They were all super friendly and helpful and I felt welcomed as a solo traveller in the off peak season! Dinner was also really good! It was in a good location for what I wanted to do and there were shops and a supermarket within a 5 minute walk. There was also easy access to the Regional rail services and Metro at Cornella and Gavara.

I would say that the breakfast is perhaps lacking a little bit in terms of choice and the same with the dinner but as someone who stayed there for 5 nights this wasn't really an issue. There were some teething issues with the change over to Travellodge when it came to bookings but the staff were great and efficient at sorting this out. It seemed to be a specific issue with people that had booked through Booking.com! There were also some minor issues with key cards not working, but again this was dealt with quickly and efficiently!

Decent stay here! Not close to city center, but for our purposes it was great. There is a huge mall/cinema and grocery store right down the street, so that was nice to grab stuff if needed or see a movie! The staff was always friendly, we did have to switch rooms because the fan/air didn’t work in the first one we were placed in. But they switched us without question.

The check in process is long and slow, but not because of anything with staff, just a lengthy process. Something that needs to be updated or fixed is the key situation. We had to have our keys reassigned to our room almost every day we were there. Terrible for us and the staff that is already busy enough!

stayed 2 nights in July in a double room, i chose this hotel mainly because was one of the cheapest options in Barcelona still being decent. In 20-30min you are able to reach Plaça de Espanya from the Almeda metro station and the airport in 10min with a taxi/uber/car. There is a mall at 5min if you need supplies and/or food. Rooms have a kettle!!

Not a comment on the hotel itself, but for some reason outside of the hotel there was always a bad smell ( not inside). The walk between metro station and hotel is a bit in an isolated area in some sections. Breakfast is good but a bit on the expensive side as it costs 13.90€ if paid at the reception.

The hotel was very comfortable and quite easy to find with a GPS system. The menu offered a reasonable choice of food and what I had was very enjoyable. A half bottle of Rioja at only 6 Euros was an added bonus and very pleasant too.

This hotel has limited parking. There are 3 gates along the side of the building. The first for the outer carpark and electric charge area which only holds half a dozen cars. The central gate does not work. The third gate is the Exit but you have to use that if you want to access the underground car park, which has a limited number of parking spaces (15). Anyone visiting and requiring parking should confirm this on booking. There is roadside parking but no good if you have valuables in your car....

The place was fine; the staff kindly gave us a room looking away from the road upon my request (i'm quite sensitive to noise). In general the staff at the reception was very friendly. There was some water with oranges / pomegranates in the lobby - very refreshing.

This hotel was quite far from the center - one needs to plan 40-50 minutes till your destination. However, there were no hotels with any kind of adequate price any closer, so I guess for Barcelona it was a good deal.

Excellent location for rcde stadium, shopping mall, tram into Barcelona 10 min walk. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Rooms tired but wasn't n issue for us. Bar shut all day Sunday which is odd for a hotel so couldn't get coffee or refreshments in afternoon to sit on terrace. Garage across road but not the same. Would stay again for location price and staff.

Everything was good but the day we needed to come they cancelled my reservation and we i tried to contact them by booking they didn’t respond. Once i was very mad i needed to call them (i’m from another country) and then they fixed my reservation. The location from the main attractions is not that convenient, it’s a long walk and drive to there with metro/bus/walking. Taxi’s are expensive.

The staff at the reception during our checkout was exceptional. She went out of her way to help me and my daughter look for our uber ride. For some reason, the gps was pinned elsewhere and she kindly explained it to the driver, that way my daughter and I don't need to cross the highway. It was really nice of her. Kudos to this travelodge.

It was extremely clean. The staff were super friendly and the hotel had easy access to the centre of Barcelona. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Barcelona. Best value for an hotel a few minutes from the airport. Large comfy room with private clean bathroom. Free parking in front great breakfast.

It's a campanile as every campanile in the world : you don't expect any originality.
