Agua de Mar Hotel is perfectly located being just two minutes walk from the airport bus stop and five minutes from Vigo Urzaiz AVE railway and intermodal bus stations. Vigo Guixar station, where trains arrive from Portugal, is only ten minutes walk from the hotel. There are lots of excellent restaurants and bars very close by offering good food at particularly reasonable prices. Come out of the hotel, turn right and one excellent restaurant is just two doors along. I had a three course evening meal there with a beer and bread basket for just 12 euros. And the portions were substantial. Slightly further away was an excellent Indian and Pizza restaurant (combined) which was also much enjoyed. The hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable. I asked for a quiet room at the back of the establishment and was given exactly what I requested. My room was quite small but it was only meant for one person and was comfortable and had everything that I needed. This included a fridge with complimentary water. The wet room style power shower was excellent. The staff were lovely. Very friendly and helpful. Nice people to talk to. This was my first visit to Vigo. I'm really glad that I picked Agua de Mar Hotel for its' ease of access, local facilities and the excellent hotel itself. I will gladly return.

Location-great, easy walking all over city from hotel. Room- very nice, bathrobe,slippers, comfortable bed,quiet, spacious. Reception staff incredibly kind and helpful! Wish I had their names for commendation, well deserved. We decided not to even attempt parking garage after reading reviews nd instead parked at Apacadeiro Urzaiz. It was $15 day on the Welgood App which worked perfectly for us. Highly recommend. To exit onto highway use the Lepanto exit, very easy.

No tissues in room , no morning coffee available. However, staff kindly offered to give us hot water. We are going to start traveling with a kettle:-) Pay for hotel parking.

The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect for what I needed. What I especially like was that they offered a great breakfast in the morning where you could ask for the eggs like you wanted them and bacon. How was the first time that I could get a breakfast that I really liked. And it was cooked and brought to my table by a very friendly person. The bathrooms were exceptional and they provided a bath robe, which was awesome.

Really spacious and comfortable room. Have not particularly extensive experience of stay in "boutique hotels", but from the limited one I have this usually means nicely and reasonably comfy rooms, but with everything on a smallish side. In this aspect this boutique was really a nice surprise. The location is practically perfect - very close to bus station, and with the centre of city also in easy walkable distance (around 1 km or so, also nice area for walk). Likely will consider staying here again.

The breakfast was ok, but a bit limited in options.

Great location with a short walk to some beautiful squares and Vigo culture. Also close to the bus station and not too far off the Camino. Bed was really comfy and the bathroom included toiletries including toothpaste. We even had a coffee machine. Very clean and neatly laid out bedroom area.

We booked a Suite and to be honest the lounge area was not very comfortable and we did not use it. The shape of the area was not welcoming. The windows did not provide it with much soundproofing so there was road noise. There were no loud bars or anything - just road noise so you did get used to it.

Clean, modern hotel with all the amenities expected of this standard of hotel. Breakfast was very good and restocking of the buffet service was very impressive. Staff were attentive and helpful. The room was very comfortable and bed was huge.

The window in room 301 did not seal completely and as it was street facing, the was car / pedestrian generate noise especially early in the morning. Also, I would have thought for this standard of hotel, there would be tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

I had 3 options for a workspace 1) the room with a nice table, plugs and decent chair 2) the quiet rooftop (which is primarily used as an on-site outdoor space to smoke, but nobody is really there during work hours 3) a room with normal square tables and chairs. All spaces were quiet. The staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. Distance to most places is a nice walking distance.

The hotel is in a good location, close to all the main areas on the town. The hotel room was spotless, the bed was large and super comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. A hot breakfast is provided and is freshly cooked to order if required and the buffet had a good selection. All the breakfasts we had were very good. The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, they helped to make our stay an enjoyable one.

Everything! Perfect location. 3 minutes from bus/train station and on Camino route. Beautifully curated rooms, a delight to stay there. Excellent breakfast. First and only freshly squeezed orange juice. Offered all hot options cooked to order, eg eggs, bacon. Have us a kettle for room so we could make tea at night.

Loved everything.

Very satisfied. Daily cleaning is carried out. There was no cold; now, there is heating, albeit a little bit noisy. Transportation from airport with taxi included in price.

Actually, I don't have anything negative to say. Perhaps, I don't have a particularly pleasant view from the window, but this is a truly minor issue.
