We had a triple room, perfectly clean and functional. A good size for three people and a good base location to explore the area. The hotel is located about a 30 minute walk from girona centre or a 10 minute taxi which cost about 8 euro. The staff were really helpful in advising where was good to visit when we arrived very late and wabted to head out, happy to call taxis for us etc. Clean, functional hotel with great staff.

We had food in the hotel one evening after a long day out. It was an average buffett with pretty limited options, although you cannot expect alot i did think it was over priced for this quality if buffett.

Girona Ibis did not disappoint us, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The free private parking was full, but you can also park in the underground parking lot for a fee. The dinner buffet was rich, but for a fee. Also, if you don't want the buffet, you can order pizza or other snacks, drinks from the bar, or just grab a take-away coffee in the morning. When traveling with my family to different countries, we have mostly decided in favor of Ibis hotels, because the price is affordable and we have never been disappointed in a hotel. Since we also have a dog, the Ibis chain is very pet-friendly and they also mostly have private parking.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Location is good, nice and quiet. It's not close to the old city but you can access it quite easily and quick by car, bike or public transport.

I forgot my charger and I asked in reception if I could borrow a charger or if they could charge my phone there in the office and they refused so I didn't have my phone charged for about 12 hours or more. I understand it was my fault for not bringing a charger but I just don't get why they wouldn't help me out. Maybe consider having one of those charger points that customers pay for. I'm sure I'm not the only person that has forgotten her charger. Food in the buffet wasn't great.

Good location. Breakfast is good value. Room very clean. Good shower. Bar and restaurant available and seating outside to enjoy drinks. Despite being very busy the staff were friendly and efficient. Several choices for parking, the spaces in front of the hotel are free.

Ibis no longer provide hand towels in bathroom, only bath towels. Even allowing for environmental commitment this seems very petty, one towel would be good. Have paid same price in hotels of much higher standard, Inis no longer feels like such good value as before.

The Reception staff were very helpful and the room was very clean, The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. There was a good selection for breakfast and the staff were really helpful.

We decided to have the evening meal but were very disappointed. The selections was good but by the time we got there at 07:45 everything had gone cold. The soup was barely warm and when I asked for butter to go with the rolls I was told there was none and yet there must have been some in the kitchen because it was out at breakfast. Even though the taste of everything was ok, we weren't able to eat much because of it being cold. Also, perhaps if the plates had been warm and the food heaters were more efficient, the food wouldn't have gone cold so quickly. It would also have been nice for the coffee machine to have been turned on to finish our meal. Having paid 32 euros for our meal we definitely didn't think we'd had good value for money.

The entire staff was SUPER EXCELLENT in everything. Mussa ?, an extraordinary host, pampering us (me and my Wife) on everything. we felt more than at home. Christopher, nice guy. the girl from the bar, super sweet and very attentive. The guy who helped us all the time with the parking, grateful guy. David and Laura?, (day front desk service) suuuper guys!!!. all team girls and senora from restaurant breakfast, sweet and smiling all the time despite the rush time assisting the guests. So sad for us to be there only one night but desperate to return!!!. My wife fell in love with the Ibis hotel chain and now want is to use just that hotel chain :-). The girl that speaks French at the room cleaning services, THANK YOUUU!!!. smiling and assisting us always friendly :-) THANKS THE ENTIRE PERSSONEL AT THAT HOTEL...GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!! :-)

Breakfast was very good, surprised by the choice of alternative milk. Other than that, nothing stands out but that's expected as ours was more of a budget choice. Everything does it's job though! comfortable bed, quiet, clean and very friendly staff.

Parking is limited so it's hard to find a spot for the night, luckily there is a lot of space on the street and always managed to find a spot. Other than that, one note was he fore alarm that went off at night, but can't blame that on the hotel.

The view from our room was towards the green area behind. It was a 30min walk to the old town city center. They charged for parking but it was a secure garage below.

The welcome was a bit odd: we followed the signs to the hotel’s parking, only to be rushed out by staff because “we couldn’t park there”. To which we explained that we had specifically asked for paid private parking, and staff stated it was subject to availability, as if there wasn’t any left… He finally said that if we paid we could park down in the garage. Don’t know what his whole fuss was about, but it left a sour taste for our welcome, after all, we followed THEIR signs for the hotel’s parking above.

Room is same what is described in booking website. Our first room had a smoke smell. I asked from reception personnel to change room. She changed our room immediately.

There is overall hotel a meal smell. There is a ventilation problem, i think. The hotel is far from the old town. You should go to old town on bus or taxi. You can take bus ticket from bus driver.

The room was great. We travelled with our bikes and the hotel was extremely accommodating. They allowed us to take our bike boxes into our room and build our bikes. They also stored our bike boxes whilst we were out cycling for a few days. They had a place for us to wash our bikes when we got back. The staff were very helpful and helped arrange transport. It's within walking distance to the centre, so the location was great. I would stay there again.

The room key card would be reset if it was too close to any product with NFC / a wireless charging coil / other (not sure which was causing the issue) e.g. Phone, Airpods etc. Little annoying as you'd only realised it's happened when you get to your room. The staff were very helpful and re-programmed our room key cards quickly, this issue is with the technology that's used.
