A beautiful hotel and the room was uniquely appointed. For breakfast you are provided with a tray of fruit, bread/croissants, cheese and ham. Along with this you are given a menu to choose an egg dish (boiled, scrambled, eggs benedict etc.). For an additional 5 euro, you can also order some further options such as scrambled eggs with mushrooms, quinoa pancakes... The dishes we ordered were tasty, but perhaps a little too salty. Gluten free bread and croissants are provided upon request. The staff are friendly and attentive and there is a nice courtyard to have drinks in. The room includes a mini bar with free drinks (water, sparkling mineral water and beer). This was replenished every day. The hotel is very central to shops, restaurants, the river etc.

The room service menu is quite limited. The gluten free bread was not heated through enough on the second and third day of our stay. The location is very noisy as there is a bar downstairs and also across from the hotel. It is also a main thoroughfare for tourists. We stayed there on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the noise went well into the early hours of the morning. This however isn't a deterrent for us, as the hotel was still worth it due to location, beauty etc. Just make sure to bring earplugs.

Beautiful property which is steeped in history. Central to the ancient part of town and designed/restored to an ancient exceptional standard. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and happy to talk through the building’s history which was great. Absolutely loved our stay.

The hotel is nestled within Girona's old city pedestrian zone. It's still easy to get to by car, however only to unload and load luggage. The staff were friendly and attentive. The on-site restaurant prepared lovely local dishes. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to try their cocktails. It's one of only very few highly recommended cocktail bars in old town. We did not have breakfast

its beautiful & in an old palace. absolutely great location & exceptionally helpful staff. they have a comfy bar/tapas restaurant onsite. the free breakfasts were absolutely delicious & served on beautiful china plates. i took a massage at the spa which was great too, & did a yoga class on the terrace. totally recommend

there was a slight funky odor in my room, maybe from the rug.

Ideal location in old Girona, the hotel is just stunning and exceptional. The quality of the room, beds and facilities overall made our stay truly memorable. As French people we greatly appreciated the extensive wine list as well as the fabulous breakfast.

One detail, as I booked the room on booking.com, it was to be set up with a double bed (even if room is called ' Twin' room) so our first night could have a tiny more comfortable, but it was made for the following night.

This was the most lovely hotel iv been to in a long time, the bed was so comfortable the coffee in the room was delicious, nothing wa sour of place it was so lovely and comfortable c the breakfast as very dignified- table service and proper coffee. I love this hotel and will come again

I like everything

The people in reception were very friendly and helpful. The menu on the restaurant is very good and the waiters were very friendly and professional. Food in the restaurant was excellent and they offer the option to have a wine taste that was also great. Best location also and a small but nice spa to relax included on the price. Building and rooms are cozy and charming as the city area.

The two girls on the breakfast were far from been friendly.

Central location... old town... narrow streets... street noise carries over. Best not to get a room facing the street if you are a light sleeper. Creative design brings unconventional ideas. Beautiful is not always practical. Room lighting, bathroom setting.

What a wonderful hotel. Lovely room, patio, terrace, and breakfast room. The breakfasts were delicious and the coffee excellent. Really enjoyed the indoor therapeutic pool with heated stone - truly amazing. The staff was very helpful and efficient.
