We booked a room with a terrace, it was smaller than it looked in photos but perfectly adequate. We chose here because dogs were allowed for a charge £15 per night. The hotel is lovely. Very quiet. The staff here were amazing nothing was too much trouble. Buffet breakfast was good a variety of choice and good value. Good drinks selection at bar nice wines.

The food in the hotel was ok. There was a limited choice in the menu - my partner is a Spanish chef. A separate lunch and dinner menu would be better. After staying here for four days we would have liked more variety. There were lots of mosquitoes and wasps by the pool.

An imposing country house set on a hill with wonderful views of the surrounding area. Nothing really in walking distance so you need a car. Very close to Huelva but with a rural feel. We liked the internal covered patio where we had dinner and drinks. The breakfast was very good with a choice of hot and cold items. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We would choose this hotel again on our next visit to Huelva.

The only minor thing for us was noise from the adjoining rooms. We could hear conversations from next door. But it didn’t disturb our sleep, for example.

Excellent check in lady that spoke English and was very friendly and efficient. The room is traditional in presentation but comfortable. There is warm additional bedding in the wardrobe, water in the fridge and a tv hidden in the tallboy. The dinner waitress was totally charming and the food portions enormous. The inner courtyard is beautiful for a drink and you can also have a dinner table there in preference to the restaurant. This was an excellent hotel for our one night stay en route to Cadiz from northern Portugal. Due to the location there is little reason to stay longer.

The over bath shower was hazardous and the water temperature temperamental.

Beautiful building with Hacienda style inner courtyard. Elegant dining space. Good breakfast buffet. Two pools and green sunbathing terrace. Ample free parking. Hotel set well away from road. No traffic noise. Helpful reception staff.

Average size room made smaller by large "Olde Worlde" furniture that serves no real purpose. Upholstered chairs at dining tables too low. Some guests had difficulties with a menu only in Castellano (and no paper printed version) and a monoglot restaurant staff. In terms of atmosphere the beautiful building is sabotaged by the incomprehensible decision to swap the warm coloured light bulbs in the historically inspired wrought iron fittings for ice cold halogen or LCD eco lamps, giving the lovely old Hacienda the look of an underground car park or a hospital corridor leading to the operating theatre. A wonderful place, we loved it and will return, but in my opinion the above are small details which could be improved upon.

Very grand period Spanish hacienda renovated into a hotel with lovely comfortable rooms designed in a classic style. The grounds are very spacious and lovely. It has also a lovely pool area ( which unfortunately was closed in October) It is a little out of the way from Huelva so if you haven't a car it could be a little tricky. The buffet breakfast is simple but decent with plenty of choice.

Unfortunately we didn't like the food in the restaurant it was very poor quality and not tasty.

Everything was exceptionally good except for the noise insulation in this classic and super charming Hacienda style Hotel. The doors to the patio hallway and to the next room lack insulation. And the motorway is a bit close, so it depends on which side of the Hotel you have your room. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. I would always book this very special hotel and place again! Very Andalusian and in a way romantic grandeur of the region it represents.

Noise insulation...

It's a beautiful Hacienda about 10 minutes drive away from Huelva. Good food but limited menu.

The bathroom was extremely small and as I have hip problems, with the fixed shower glass I had difficulty getting in and out of the bath when taking a shower. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Very limited evening menu unless you like pizza or burgers. Needed more pillows Would have been good to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for women to apply makeup.

Only a few minutes from the main freeway from Portugal into Spain. maybe ten / fifteen minutes into Huelva by car. Really beautiful old Hacienda complete with tons of old Spanish charm. Beautiful amazing courtyard enclosed with a glass ceiling. very peaceful and serene.

It would have been nice to know the dinner that there was a menu. We thought they only had the special of the day and they didn't tell us. We would have preferred a lighter meal :) But it was excellent :)

Beautiful building and very helpful staff. 10-minute drive to a great natural area where you can see flamingos.

It’s pretty far away from the center of town, the beach, or anything else you may want to visit. Not a big problem with a car, but just beware that you can’t walk anywhere. Also, there was no soap at all in the bathroom (and so little shampoo it ran out before a second shower).

The setting was beautiful...in the countryside. The rooms were set around an atrium which was where you had dinner. Prices very reasonable and the bar service was good...right out to the pool! We had lovely views from our room and it was very quiet. Sitting in the restaurant in the evening was very relaxing.

Bees were swimming in the hot tub so we couldn't use it!!
