We absolutely love this hotel and its sister hotel the Dorado suites . The rooms are all part of a concept and it is beautifully done . Tropicana is a Miami themed hotel in Ibiza and that’s exactly what it is .the location is fantastic next to all the main clubs a stone throw visit from the beautiful Bossa beach and the hippie market and shops . The staff are great , welcoming and extremely welcoming and the rooms are cleaned spic and span every day . Seriously I cannot recommend this hotel higher

Loved the staff!!!! Super friendly and AMAZING - went above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible. Love how colourful it is, amazing location right by all the super clubs and the beach. Free access to dorado, which is a luxurious beach front hotel. Best sangria in the whole of ibiza. Clean rooms and extremely comfy bed. Nice cold pool - very relaxing to sit around, good snack menu.

Very steep entry, quite unsafe. Rooms need updating, our fan was nearly falling off the roof and the fridge wouldn't close properly. Stayed in cubanito from the same hotel chain last year and that was absolutely incredible, so was a bit disappointed to see such a huge difference between the two when we actually paid more for this hotel. But overall, I had an amazing stay and these little things didn't ruin the holiday I would've just preferred the price to match the quality.

Staff were great, pool wasn’t ever too busy and the big speaker in the room was a good touch!

Our air con broke the first night and the cleaners didn’t come every day. The staff did their best to rectify the air con situation with complimentary breakfast and credit at the bar but the heat was sometimes unbearable and it was a bit of a kick in the face to learn that it was fixed just before we checked out (Monday morning, so our thoughts are they didn’t want to pay weekend rates on maintenance!) However Nico, Francesco and most of the other members of staff we encountered were very friendly and made our stay memorable :)

The hotel was in a great location just off the main road but pretty quiet from the room and balcony. Pool area also seemed quiet but I noticed they stopped serving drinks from 530pm. We visited their sister hotel down the road which was lovely and had a bigger pool area right on the beach with a good atmosphere/music etc.

We were told when we checked in that we had breakfast included so when we went down the next day we started to help ourselves and it was only when I asked for cutlery that I was told breakfast had to be charged per person per day. That's fine but the breakfast was extremely basic - pastries and some cheeses only. Something that I thought should have been included and not charged additionally for. We decided to go and buy breakfast both mornings so we could get something better value for money & more substantial.

Amazing hotel! So clean and in a perfect location for clubs and restaurants. Also great that you can use the sister hotels facilities. The pool was always clean and enough beds for everyone. The staff were always friendly and helpful in booking taxis etc. Check in was quick and efficient. Toiletries available in the room if you need. We can’t wait to return next year! We couldn’t believe this hotel is one of the cheapest in the area, such good valuable compared to others!

The only thing we would change is the availability of a late check out, we had to wait until the last day to ask if this was available (I know this is common in most hotels) - unfortunately they could only offer until 1pm. However this is not the end of the world and we were still able to use the hotel pool and store are luggage so nothing major that would stop us coming back!

Andrea at Dorado Ibiza (the beachside sister hotel to Tropicana Ibiza) is an absolute legend. His rosé sangria is truly out of this world. Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and just magical. My girlfriend and I were blown away! On top of that, Andrea’s customer service was absolutely outstanding friendly, attentive, and full of good vibes. If you’re at Dorado, do yourself a favor, find Andrea and order that sangria. Trust me, it’s unforgettable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tropicana Suites Ibiza! The location is perfect, just a short walk to major clubs like Hi Ibiza, which made our nights out so convenient. The retro design of the hotel was a standout feature, with every piece of furniture contributing to the vibe – from the Smeg fridge to the Marshall portable speaker. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Special mention to the bar-lady whose drinks were better than any other bar we visited on the island. The pool was also a great place to relax.

Location - perfectly situated in Playa d'en Bossa, you can easily access the busiest part of the island (you can quickly walk to all parts of d'en Bossa), but away enough from the loud hustle and bustle. The hotel was extremely quiet, so we got good rest. Vibe - the hotel has such a great vibe, with fun colors. We LOVED the look of our room. Reminded me of Palm Springs meets old school Las Vegas. It had great personality! The Little Things - staff was very friendly and welcoming, GREAT towels (they also provide you with beach towels for the day), everything you need in your room - kitchen ware, nice common area, dining table with stools. Extra - if you're renting a car in Ibiza, they provide you with gated parking. Incredibly great perk, in my opinion

The only thing that I didn't particularly like was the amount of random individuals that were hanging around daily and nightly in and around the streets leading up to the hotel. However, this is completely out of the hotel's control and should not be held against the Tropicana in any way. The street itself feels a little obscure and away from activity, so that probably explains why there are randoms just strangely hanging around. They never really seemed to walk onto hotel property.

We loved the whole vibe of the hotel. The pool was great with comfortable sunbeds, shady spots/ umbrellas and seats in the pool to chill and mingle. The cocktails from the pool bar were amazing, as well as the food. We loved the rooms as well, it had everything we needed for a short girls trip - lovely bathroom with a good shower, comfortable beds and pillows, mini fridge, coffee machine, a bluetooth speaker a full length mirror and balcony - the vibe was super cute. The location of the hotel was great as well - close to a range of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and the beach. I also have allergies, specifically to gluten and nuts and the hotel were reassuring with checking the ingredients and making sure food was safe.

We loved everything but the only thing we mentioned was maybe another full length mirror in the bedroom area in addition to the lounge area would be good if there a few of you getting ready in one room, but it certainly didn't impact our experience. We loved the rooms and had everything we needed.

Fantastic location in Playa D’en Bossa if you’re planning to visit Pacha, Ushuaïa & Hï. A short taxi ride to Ibiza Old Town which is a really beautiful part of the Island. Very nice spacious rooms with comfortable bed, great shower and personal fridge. Lovely pool and sun loungers, always one available when we wanted it. Really friendly staff, very swift check in and check out.

Definitely not cheap but I don’t think any properties of this standard are cheap in Ibiza. Kitchen closed early so we couldn’t order food after 3.45/4pm even though information in the room said 5pm. Rooms have a slightly more tried feel to them than they look in the photos.
