I stayed here for 8 nights. Now, this is a one star hotel, so I was fully prepared for this experience. This isn't the cleanliest place ever or the comfiest, far from it, but for me it was everything I needed. All I wanted was a cheap place to sleep in and shower, as I visited the entire island during my stay. The staff was friendly, you get an extra blanket for the chilly nights, you get fresh towels every day and the room is vacuumed. And the location is extraordinary, it only takes a few minutes of walking to get to Plaza Espana, what more could ask for?

The place could use a bit more of a deep scrub, and also someone always smoked whenever I opened the door to the bathroom. And also the bed could be more comfortable.

This is a basic hotel in a very central location in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. We stayed here twice on recent trip as it offered affordable accommodation for one night between flights from the South & North aiports. The rooms we stayed in were clean and comfortable and also had fridges, which was useful. There are lots of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby as well as a large supermarket. There is a lift which we appreciated after having to walk some distance from our transfer coach's stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

For a simple hotel we thought this was a good option. The only thing missing from our room was a kettle.

The front desk staff were friendly (Josue and Jamal were on reception while I was there) and all the cleaning staff were also lovely. My room was quiet and comfortable with a study bed. Easy to find as well with very clear signage and just minutes away from nice squares and restaurants.

The hotel itself is great. Only slight downside is that further up the street to get to the hotel there are a series of bins that are smelly when they haven’t been emptied for a while. This is of course, not the hotel’s fault. Also, the wifi seemed to cut out for around 30 minutes around 6pm (this happened 3 times).

The location was excellent. There were lots of bars, restaurants, coffee shops & supermarkets all within a 5 min walk of the hotel. The bus station was around a 15 mins walk away. The hotel is also located in a quiet street just off the main area so it's nice & quiet. The staff were friendly & really helpful, the room was clean & comfortable enough.

The bathroom could've done with a bit of a spruce up & some redecoration. It was great there were things like a fridge, a fan & even a portable heater in one of the cupboards but there was no kettle or cups.

Great value for money. We only needed a place to rest and leave our luggage for the day as we were in transit and our flight was not leaving until 11:00 pm. Location was in a quiet area and we were able to walk to restaurants and shops from the hotel. Needed to take a taxi to the old city which was not too far. Room was fairly large and clean with modest furnishings. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful.

I have been to this hotel several times and I like the quiet but central location. It is a cheap hotel and no luxury but everything I need. When I first started to use this hotel they had the best wifi in town and it is still good.

I just don't like the bathrooms. The shower is in a miniature tub. It is usable but I find it not comfortable. And the soap and champoo packages are just too small. Other things I noticed people smoking out of their windows and the smell reached my window.

Location is amazing, right in the city center and off the beaten path enough to still be relatively quiet. The room was clean-ish, but parts that matter - the bed and the bathroom were spotless. It is a budget hotel and it was very well worth it for the price. Staff is very relaxed and nice. I love that there is always someone at the counter no matter how late. Budget hotels often have a reception on a specific schedule, not here. Recommended.

The reception and housekeeping staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel is beautiful. I love my room. Only a short walk to the historical area and seafront. I walked from the bus terminal (intercambiador) to take buses to visit the nearby towns ..... Candelaria, Puerto de la Cruz and San Cristobal La Laguna on each different day and return to this hotel at late afternoon.

Hotel Horizonte is a good hotel in a great location near the city center of Santa Cruz (the tram and buses running on the coast are quite close on foot. The staff were very kind as well.

The facilities were not the newest, but overall the stay was still quite comfortable.

The location is absolutely great, I liked this part of Santa Cruz, it's value for money, a nice single room. What I liked is that this hotel feels authentic, not a sterile resort hotel but something real Spanish/Canarian. Bonus, that my room was far from the elevator.

The walls are very thin, but luckily I had earplugs with me.
