The location and the breakfast were perfect. The pool was ice-cold, and we didn't know it was not heated at all and the view from our room was not so good (which is not that important, to be honest), but we've had an excellent experience overall and would love to come back.

1, The helpfulness of the staff at the reception, particularly Alejandro who went out of his way to attend to our (many and varied) needs. He is a true hospitality industry professional who is always striving to make the guests have the best experience during their stay. 2. The perfect location: the hotel is located in the heart of the city and a walking distance to just about everything that is interesting in the city. 3. The facilities: the hotel is new, with a modern design and an efficient room layout. 4. The responsiveness of the staff to adverse circumstances. A key measure of a hotel's quality is not the problems that have adverse effects on guests (ex: elevator breakdown), but rather how quickly and effectively it responds to such problems. In that regard, the responsiveness of the hotel staff could not be better, and deserves a special recognition.

That was nothing to dislike.

Modern and suited our needs.

It’s very noisy. We were a a floor below the roof terrace which kept us away until 1am. After this the nightclub kept us awake until 4am.

This hotel had a great location, near the harbor and a busy street with lots of shops and restaurants -- right in the middle of the action. The rooms were updated and modern and very comfortable. You can hear some street noise, but not much. We had no trouble sleeping. I liked that we were able to get adjoining rooms giving us lots of space to spread out. The rooftop deck was amazing, there's a small pool area (it was January, so the pool was freezing) and a bar area that hosts DJs. It's a great place to be day or night. We didn't get the breakfast, but it looked good.

We really enjoyed our stay, so not much we didn't like. However, we had a car for our trip to the island and took advantage of the hotel parking. It was very difficult to navigate to the hotel (through the old, narrow streets) and down a tiny, steep garage below the hotel. Lots of tight corners, not for the faint of heart. But worth having the convenience the car right off the elevator. There is city parking nearby, if parking in a cramped space makes you claustrophobic.

Great location, and an incredibly calm and quiet room. Unfortunately the pool on the rooftop was closed for renovation at the time, but it was still lovely to spend some time there, you can take a shower to refresh.

Contact with the staff was quite pleasant, except while leaving the hotel. We wanted to pick up the luggage, and we were rudely told by a staff member at reception that he was busy with another thing. Finally the other guests waiting in line let us through as they saw that we were in a rush.

Great hotel, room, shower, wifi, cleaning, everything is awesome. But still I will not go back here. Because the roof top bar has DJ's and live music, making noise until well past midnight. So I could not sleep. They do this to attract people that are not hotel guests, so there is a constant stream of people coming in who are not hotel guests. So in fact this is not a hotel, this is a bar with rooms. If you want to party until late this is a great place for you. If you like a good night of sleep, take another hotel.

My partner and I spend our anniversary at the AC Merriott hotel although it wasn’t celebrated for us which I would have loved. Everything else was perfect from the staffs at the reception who were very nice and accommodating answering all our questions and queries to the staffs on the rooftop bar who catered to our needs. I don’t drink alcohol but the bartender (who has the extremely low haircut) made drinks that accommodated my needs each time my partner and I went up to have a drink or to eat dinner. The breakfast buffet as well was really good. In summary it was a nice experience for my partner and I.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfast and there's Chromecast in the room, so we could watch a movie after a day of sightseeing.

Breakfast in the lobby where there's not a lot of tables. People checking in next to you eating breakfast feels weird, definitely not like a relaxing start of day. That plus small things like lack of salt and pepper on each table - one had to use shared ones or ask staff. Some small bins on the table for the little trash you produce would also be nice

This hotel is centrally located to all local attractions, and shopping areas. A comfortable hotel which is aesthetically attractive also staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Has a lovely roof top area with a bar and swimming pool.

A little busy at breakfast time around 9.30 am did appear to be a staff shortage with only one staff member available at one point making it a little chaotic. We were also approached by several men around the hotel who were asking for money making us a little uncomfortable as I was travelling with my daughter.

We went together to spend a weekend on this hotel and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The location was just 10 minutes away from the port so it was easy to go without using any transit method. The room had air-conditioning and it was comfortable and nicely tidy. Breakfast, gym room, the bathtub and the pool were also perfect. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful with us. They also kept our belongings secured after the check-out so we could hang out in the city before going to the port again. We would absolutely go again for a vacation or to spend some off-days.

One of the few things we missed during our stay were a microwave and a clothing line. Besides that, everything was amazing.
