We had a nice stay at Hotel Subur. We had picked this hotel because of its close location to the beach and city center. From this perspective it was a real pleasure to be staying so close to basically everything: only a few steps away to some of the nicest restaurants on the promenade, and it was basically 2 corners aways from the main square which was very lively every evening which we enjoyed a lot. Also we had several stores nearby. One would say that being so close to the crowded areas the room would be loud and noisy, but that wasn't the case. Once we closed the balcony doors, zero noise came in. And we would keep the doors closed because of the running air conditioning. The room size was really okay, not very large yet not small. It was nicely cleaned, all good on this front. We arrived 2 hours before the official check in time, hoping we could leave our luggage in the hotel and go out visiting the surroundings. Which wasn't a problem as the staff was very nice and took our luggage and kept is safely till we got back to take our rooms.

The only downside worth mentioning is that the separating walls were thin and at times we could hear what in the other room the guests were talking. But luckily they were mostly out of the room just as we were, so this wasn't a considerable bothering aspect. Maybe at times the WiFi could have been better, but it was far from being a deal breaker.

The room and bathroom was clean. Room size was decent with a large comfortable bed. Wardrobe was spacious. The location was perfect, just across from the beach and close to all the local amenities. Breakfast was good, although we opted to eat at the local restaurants instead for more variety.

The room had no view and lacked privacy as the adjacent room was visible when the curtains were open. Occasionally there was unpleasant sewer smell. The bathroom was a little tight as you had to squeeze pass the bathroom door. The tile paint kept on peeling in the shower. No parking facilities available.

Location close to center and right across the beach, good breakfast, cleanliness. Comfortable bed. Small balcony with side sea views. All in all a good stay, I would choose this hotel again when I stay in Sitges.

Hotel can be a bit noisy in the mornings (depending on the location of your room) - walls and doors are not soundproof. Shower pressure could be much better. Breakfast is in the sports bar downstairs, with an awkward table setting.

My first choice whenever I come to Sitges. Comfortable and clean rooms, quick service (check-in, check-out, transfer booking...), decent breakfast. The Subur is situated at a prime location on the beach promenade, right across the Mediterranean and at two steps from the lively city center. The train station is at a 10 minute walk, ideal when you want to make a day trip to Barcelona. Airport is a 45 minute taxi drive. Special praise goes to the cleaning ladies, who all do a wonderful job with a big smile. Attic rooms (with a big terrace and lovely views) are absolutely worth the supplement!

The only thing I missed were coffee and tea making facilities in the room.

I spent 5 nights here, 4 in a normal room, and extended for 1 night and changed to a sea view room. The sea view was amazing and if you are there for a relaxing time, you can't beat sitting on the balcony in the evening watching and listening to the sea. Although there was no "view" from the other room, it still had a window that looked out over the side and back street. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was good. The rooms were perfectly clean. The staff were always friendly and the breakfast was nice. More than anything, the location was absolutely perfect!

As I said, the breakfast was nice, although I personally feel could have had more selection, but that is the only negative thing I can pick at as the rest was great

Excellent location! 507 was a Great room as well. 2 mates travelling together and fluking a 2 room apartment when select a twin room. So central is this hotel and a quick swim in the Mediterranean Sea, in the morning before breakfast, was almost effortless. Thanks very much to the seamless stay. Having some umbrellas available to guests was an excellent touch as well. (You could hire those like you do the towels for some extra revenue.) For beach lovers this would be a bonus.

The scrambled eggs for the morning breakfast needs to be looked at, otherwise the breakfast was super.

Breakfast was lovely and served from 8.00 to 11.00. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. They would always put on more bacon, croissants or bread even if you didn't get down until the last minute! I used to go down to the bar during the day for hot water for tea and hot milk for hot chocolate for my kids and they always got it for me with a smile. Superb service! 🤩

The only drawback to this hotel is if you have a car you have to move it every day to park it. There is an underground car park nearby but you have to pay for it.

We stayed for Sitges Pride 2024 with Otto (our french bulldog). We booked a room with a terrace because that way Otto could enjoy some fresh air when he wanted to. We did not expect to have an ocean view, as we previously have booked rooms with a terrace, and we knew the attics would have a side-view. However, the staff gave us one of the two attic-rooms with an ocean view; it was spectacular. We couldn't be happier with our choice for this trip. The staff was super friendly, and they gave us a welcome kid for Otto that included some Shampoo, a refreshing towel, a poopy-bag and a treat. What a nice touch! We could enjoy the main events for the Pride celebration thanks to the prime location of this hotel. Whenever Otto felt like had too much we could easily bring him back to the hotel room so he could have some rest. Although this was not the first time we've stayed at Subur with Otto, this experience made us sure to come back the next time we plan to stay in Sitges. This is definitely the best option if you plan to stay in a hotel that has a great location and if you're planning bringing your four-legged friend.

Amazing stay at the Hotel Subur. The view on the beach is worth paying extra for if you want to enjoy a morning coffee looking at the ocean and the waves. The staff is so kind and appreciate the guests. The hotel has a restaurant just below for breakfast lunch and dinner. There are many other restaurants around. I will definitely recommend.

The menu in the restaurant is quite limited for the area. No Special dish or speciality of the region.

Breakfast was a little limited, but what was there was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I didn’t have much need to engage with the hotel staff as I had nothing to complain about. Balcony caught some really nice morning sun and location for the beach and everything in town were excellent.

The foot of my bed was a little soft/worn. It would be nice if there was a kettle in the room and if the water was replaced after the first day.
