It's in a great central place. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day with fresh towels, sheets changed every other day. We stay there a couple of times a year, however in the past I commented that it was looking tired, this time there's improvement, lighting is better and it's had a fresh painting which made it feel much brighter. Will be staying again in the future.

We've always used Hotel Fontana. It's just so easy and central. There's nothing to not like.

Location, just about 8 minutes walk from Bus station with direct bus to Alicante Airport taking 50 minutes for 7 euros. The hotel even closer to the promenade, which is a beautiful walk with plenty of seating along the seafront and a great selection of restaurants. Our room was more spacious than I expected, with a very large Super King bed. Good lighting in the room, wardrobe, 2 safes, a minifridge to hold our bottles of water etc. The bathroom was well laid out. Balcony was overlooking the pool area and as we were on 6th floor we could see the sea in the distance above the rooftops of surrounding buildings. Our room was cleaned every morning to the highest standard and each day we met the lady who looked after our room, she always greeting us with a smile. We hired bikes for 3 days and there was no problem storing them in luggage storage room. The Bike hire Co. is advertised at reception, they deliver and collect bikes from the hotel which is a great service.

The toiletries were quite poor quality. The photo of our room on Booking. com was certainly not the room we had, regarding the view from the balcony.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in April to visit family. Good location, central and close to bars, shops and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was large with 1 large double bed (bit uncomfortable!) and a fridge for convenience. TV, plenty of storage and with a balcony overlooking the pool that got the afternoon and early evening sunshine. Overall, we were really pleased with the hotel. We didn’t have breakfast or any food and the bar was not open at all whilst we stayed.

The hotel was clean some of the facilities like bars were closed, my room was. upgraded freee of charge and the hotel was close to the beach and the centre of town it had lots of bars a restaurants around it. I was able to park my car in the hotel underground garage.

Even though the room was spacious there was an area that could have accomadated. a sofa with a small table. Also there were no electrical sockets either side of the bed which made charge phones and tablets difficult, also there was only one light switch on the side of the bed I don't sleep on?

Everyone was really friendly. The room was large, bright and clean. Nice swimming pool. Easy use of parking garage. Great location too - a minute to walk to the sea front, great for a morning swim in the sea and within easy reach of good cafes and large supermarkets.

Breakfast could be improved. The air conditioning worked almost too well: it was either very cold or off, because the temperature thermostat did not work.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were excellent, especially the ladies who cleaned the rooms. The location was great, near all restaurants, bars, and beach, which made up for lack of these facilities at the hotel. Bed was comfortable 😌 food, okay? only had breakfast, but the same eveveryday needed more variety but good. They only offered BB, The weather was good, with a temp of about 26 -30 degrees. We would stay here again, but maybe in late September.

The pool closed on the Wednesday, no bar open during our stay. Unable to get a meal in the evening or lunch during the day, when you were by the pool. However, the pool was freezing. There is no place to socialise in the hotel. We were a party of 5, then 7. The lift was broken, but the smaller lift worked. However, this would have been a problem in the high season.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the seafront, beach, bars and restaurants. The room was a great size with a balcony and the bed was huge. The bed was made up and the room cleaned daily.

The walls are thin and you can hear furniture scraping, people in the shower, toilets flushing, snoring and talking from other rooms. Would’ve been good if the bar and pool were open.

I received an email FROM the property via booking.com saying I needed to pay otherwise they wouldn’t hold the room for my parents. I paid via the link the hotel sent. Forty minutes later I received another email FROM the property via booking.com saying not to pay as the properties network had been hacked. Neither booking.com nor the hotel will take responsibility and my bank are refusing to help. Overall booking.com have been appalling. They sent me, an English speaker, the response from the property which was in Spanish.

No kettle, but I didn't see until too late that I could have requested one from reception - so that's my fault Swimming pool closed at 7pm :-( No additional bar available after pool bar closed (or opened at 11am)

Bar isn’t open in the evening, very noisy location if on the street front. Better pool side food and longer opening hours. These are suggestions as to me this place and staff were amazing and their service out weighed the cons.
