Ability to park a very packed vehicle and feel secure. Breakfast was decent, I had instant oatmeal. Add ins were nice. The bathroom shampoo and soaps were quite nice. The room TV was newer with a good sized screen. I was there on a Monday, so the adjacent restaurant was not open, but Craig's Deli was and it was delicious. Craig s closes at 6. I like that the building is a single story.

BW Plus Santee is right off of I 95, very convenient. Checkin is a breeze, staff are friendly and informative, rooms are clean and good size. Breakfast has eggs, sausage, excellent biscuits and gravy, grits, bagels and breads, pastry, waffles, fruit, cereal, good coffee, and much more. The beds are very comfortable. And we like how we can park right in front of our room for easy access. No elevators! The heated pool always looks tempting, and for dinner, Captains Quarters is right across the parking lot, Try the Asian Swai fillet blackened or almond crusted, with grits! For the money, BW Plus Santee is one of our favorite places to stay when driving from FL to NY and back.

I've stayed there before without issue so that's why I chose this hotel again. I always stay at Best Westerns.

The front door was warped on the bottom half of the door. When it was locked it still was not flush to the door frame. I had to push the chair up against it to be assured it closed all the way. Traveling solo, this was a concern. Also, no desk in the room. The shower curtain bar was loose on both walls. I was disappointed this time around and paying $226 for this room was ridiculous.

We particularly liked that we could literally back our car up to the door to our room. We were traveling with dogs, and the designated walking areas were nicely maintained and in very close proximity to our room. But perhaps the nicest thing was the little restaurant adjacent to the Inn. It was a short stroll to the restaurant from our room and we were pleasantly surprised by the menu which offered many fresh seafood options and dinner sized salads. But best of all……the fried green tomatoes! I couldn’t have made better myself.

Looks like this place in the middle of renovations. The bathroom tile and shower were brand new. The paint was rough and needed repainted. The floors were new. The furniture was old. The counter was new. The beds were comfortable and that's what really mattered. They're doing a good job making this place look quant and friendly.

Our room was non-smoking and We signed a paper stating we would not smoke in it. But we stepped in our room. There was a faint smell of weed/marijuana. We called immediately to the front desk to let them know that it was not us. She would have switched to us to a new room had there been another room available, but they were sold out. The person cleaning the room should have aired the room out better.

Quiet, Single level so no problems with noisy people above you. We have stayed here multiple times, the staff is always respectful and willing to accommodate you if possible, even the other guests are pleasant and respectful so No drama here. Restaurants, Starbucks, 2 gas/grab and go stores just s quick walk away. If you want luxury this is not for you, across the street there are multiple options to choose from and priced accordingly but if you want a clean, quiet place to stay where they treat you like family this is it. PS. The pool is kept immaculately clean and breakfast is always good the beds are very comfy.

What a lovely little inn to stop off in, positioned just off 95. It was immaculately clean and the staff were so kind and helpful. We arrived late and the receptionist opened up the breakfast room for us so we could feed the kids cereal, and even offered to cook him sausages and brought fresh cookies out. I was really impressed with the hospitality and thought the rooms were lovely, fresh and clean. Would definitely stop here again.

Separate entrance. Arrival cookies and coffee. Pleasantly helpful staff. Pancake machine. Pretty wide variety of breakfast choices. Adjacent (short walk) to nice restaurant for dinner/take out.

The scrambled eggs were probably from a container; beady and not fluffy. Took some but didn’t even try them once I discovered the pancake machine. I didn’t see any yogurt, but was satisfied after the pancakes so I didn’t ask.

Location was great. Love the restaurant that shares the parking lot. You can walk to it and have an excellent dinner. The best thing about this location is the water pressure in the shower. It is amazing .

They started redoing the rooms and hope they continue with attention to the shower area. Everything is clean just needs a redo.

Room was clean, bed made well and very quiet (didn’t hear the neighbors at all (bonus). Bath Towels were worn. Shower Head great, tub worn with ugly caulk job but it all worked! Water pressure just right for the shower, the sink was a disappointing trickle of water. Check in was the worst: lackluster, very little eye contact, lack of energy & enthusiasm, communication was purely the essentials…either a bad day (which she should be able to hide for the few minutes interacting with a customer) or she’s a bad hire…I’m hoping she was having a bad day. Set my expectations for a bad stay…luckily it wasn’t.
