The highlight of the Floride-Etoile was its location. With easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and close proximity to a range of restaurants, grocers and cafes, it was a perfect base to explore the city.

Although rooms were private, they were not soundproof. Our neighbors across the hall woke us several occasions getting in and out of their room. In fairness, it was NYE, so perhaps more festive than usual. Breakfast provision was ambiguous. It seemed as though breakfast was included as part of the room rate, but we were charged upon departure. The distinction between buffet and continental breakfast was also unclear. Either way, with the availability of so many dining and cafe options nearby, breakfast at the hotel was poor value and an unwelcome surprise surcharge at check out.

Large comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast buffet, great location (walk to Eiffel Tower). The bathrooms were spacious, furnishings throughout were updated and fresh, rooms were quiet and able to be darkened (shutters and curtains) -- perfect for a good nights sleep. Best of all -- the reception staff were incredible: friendly, helpful, provided advice on local restaurants, and how to deal with the Olympic security issues, and umbrellas were flourished when needed. Five stars to whoever selected and trained staff -- exceptional service!!

It was literally around the corner from the trocadero side of the Eiffel Tower and close to the River Cruises and walking distance of the arc de triumph. Metro access literally 2 minutes away plus plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. Hotel was lovely and warm and there was a supermarket a couple of doors down which was very handy. I would definitely stay again if I went back to Paris

I only had one instance where upon checking in I gave my passport and just assuming that I spoke no french the old man said the the younger one that my photo looked like I should be in Alcatraz! I know Passport photo's aren't flattering and had I not been with my 13 year old daughter I would have played hell but chose to ignore the remark as not to taint our stay.

The location is fantastic, near multiple metro stops, a huge range of bars and restaurants and quiet at night. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful and for the price (we stayed in early February) it was fantastic value.

The shower is a bit temperamental and the keys need to be replaced by an electronic system ASAP as they are not fit for purpose. It’s 3 star, so you don’t expect everything to be perfect and, again, for the price these feel like minor complaints.

The location of the hotel is superb; in the heart of the 16th arrondissement. It is close to main attractions and close to shops and restaurants. It is very clean and although the room was small, it had everything we needed. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good.

They need to change the shower heads. Ours was working very poorly and the shower was not enjoyable after a long day of walking.

An excellent location. A 10 minute walk to either the Champs Élysée or the Eiffel Tower. Lots of lovely restaurants close by to fritter away the day along with Boissière metro station a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Room itself was clean and practical, cleaned daily with fresh towels and hot refreshments replaced. Small issue with the shower was rectified immediately by the staff who were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming staff who made the stay even better

A couple of recommendations would be to have a shower curtain installed and for all the room doors to have an overhead door closer so you don’t hear doors slamming shut

The entire staff was great. The young lady at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. She was from Spain, sorry but I missed her name.

We chose the larger room with a tub and handheld shower. It was very hard for my husband to get out of it. We should have gone with the shower.

I loved this hotel. It passed my tests with flying colors! Amazing room, lobby, staff, and breakfast. I was, also, impressed by the complimentary, infused water they provided guests. I would stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel.

I can't say there was anything I didn't like.

The location is excellent, the room are small like all in Paris but was clean. i don't taka breakfast becouse the are a lot of option near the hotel. But the best are the people in the hotel, you can save your luggage after and before end your reservation.

The bathtub is to high for older person but is clean.

Great location and easy to find this hotel is near is only a short walk to the Trocadero and the Champs-Élysées. Surrounded by multiple dining options you will be spoilt for choice, the hotel offers breakfast but we chose to eat out there was a small patisserie nearby which offered a great selection of French Pastries and seemed to be well liked by locals. Our room was generous in size, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked well, our room was very quiet and there was a electric shutter fitted to our window so you could not only draw curtains but pull down the shutter for complete darkness further sound proofing. The staff were friendly and on our last night for some reason our room was not cleaned by mistake and the staff were very apologetic, we didn't make a big deal out of it these things happen, they provided fresh towels etc and apologised profusely which was fine by us. 10 Minutes later the manager visited our room with a bottle of champagne to personally apologise so to me that speaks volumes on how the hotel is run.

There was nothing that we could really complain about other than the final night when our room was left unmade but the team on hand handled this as best they could and went beyond what any reasonable person could expect.
