Our stay at Hotel Chavanel was truly delightful. The hotel's location was superb, allowing us to easily walk to many attractions, including the Louvre. This convenience made our trip even more enjoyable as we could explore the city without any hassle. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights after our days of sightseeing. The comfort of the room added to the overall positive experience. What stood out the most was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. Each person we interacted with offered personalized recommendations on where to eat and what to see, making our stay even more memorable. Their insights and suggestions were invaluable and greatly enhanced our visit.

There wasn’t much I wouldn’t like. The lift was really small, so we had separately take two separate trip each time we go out as party of 4.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, close to everything you might need, making it very convenient for exploring the city. One of the highlights was the staff—especially very nice young ladies who spoke excellent English and were always ready to help with any request. Their hospitality truly made my stay even better. The hotel itself has a charming style, and the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. Everything was clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I hope to return in the future!

Cozy little hotel that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Staff were amazing. They asked if we wanted an upgrade which was free so it was nice. The little lobby place always had coffee, drinks, croissants and water that were complimentary which was great. They lock the front and back gate of the hotel at night which made us feel safe. There were nice cafe chops around and shops that you can look around.

Location was a bit far from most popular main attractions ( almost 30 mins) but we did walk to them after all. A bit tiny but that’s normal for european hotels. Rooms could be a little sound proof.

On top of how perfect the location was or how clean it was or how lovely & friendly each staff was, it was fantastic gesture having a free upgrade on our arrival and their kind touch on our birthday celebration with a lovely card alongside with macarons were so amazing.

It would be great having refurbishment and might be better if possible doing laundry collection after breakfast time as lift area was already tiny and having laundries next to lift door at -1 was not nice. Overall we loved this hotel (this is our 3rd hotel in the same area) and already recommended a couple of friends. We will definitely come back again.

The hotel was walking distance to famous landmarks and the river Seine. The metro was also only a 100m walk away, so getting around the city was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. There were good tea/coffee facilities, a fridge and complimentary treats for us on arrival (a nice touch). Air conditioning was excellent and definitely needed in July!

The room was a bit small and noise could be heard from other guests coming and going. You could hear the metro occasionally, this might bother some people but not us.

Hotel Chavanel is a hidden gem! Despite being a small boutique hotel, the rooms are surprisingly spacious by Paris standards, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying, providing a great start to the day. Located on a quiet street, the hotel is still within walking distance of major landmarks, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The staff were polite and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet central location in Paris.

It is really good and worth staying here. The location is excellent — it takes about 30 minutes to reach the Champs-Élysées. On the way, you can enjoy visiting the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, the Grand Palais, and Place de la Concorde. Although it is farther from Notre-Dame, the Panthéon, and the Jardin du Luxembourg, the route is so pleasant that you hardly notice the distance. On the other hand, the lovely staffs and the comfortable room made our journey much more pleasant.

Clean and tidy rooms and fresh decor. Given the hotel's location and type of room we booked (Classic Double), the room was pleasantly sized. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Our room was on the 5th floor and we had lovely views of the street and a lot of light. Housekeeping leaves drinking water on a daily basis. Very well located with several metro lines located within 1-2 blocks of the hotel. Well-located to the shopping, dining, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again on future trips to Paris. NOTE: The toilet is separate from the bath/shower, but both are contained within your room.

Not necessarily a negative, however, you do need to leave your hotel key with reception when you go out for the day. So if that is something that is important for you, look elsewhere.

The hotel was excellent, staff great, helpful, friendly and polite. Their English was superb. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment on this. The room was small but perfectly adequate for the two of us. The bathroom and shower were great. The bed was large and very comfortable. The room was quiet and we loved the fact that you could open the large window with the Juliette balcony. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will use it again if we are in Paris. It is in a great location, easy walk to station, shops, cafes and restaurants. Value for money baring in mind we were there for the Olympics. Thank you, Hotel Chavanel.

There was nothing to find fault with.

Breakfast was so fantastic, beautiful breakfast room (reminded me of being in a large pizza oven), food was amazing. Stayed during the festive season, so the foyer had nice Christmas tree and lights. Staff were amazing. Walk straight outside to fabulous restaurants, shops and Paris's charm and ambience. Bus nearby. Location was one of the best in Paris.
