So many things! The location, the quality of facilities and service, the friendliness of the staff. They were willing to let me speak in french so I could practice but are well equipped to speak in tons of languages. They went above and beyond for me so many times, lending me a charger, calling me taxis, giving me directions all over the place. They even sent a staff member to my room to help me take a picture on my balcony! Honestly I would stay here over and over again. Plus the location is easy walking distance to so much. I walked to the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Crazy Horse etc. whilst taxis are never more than 12-15 euros to really anywhere you can think to go from here. The room was lovely and honestly this place is a FIND. I'll definitely be back. X

The friendliness of the staff, especially Arezki and Farouk, who made our stay very pleasant. In addition, the rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is excellent and the location is exceptional. We will certainly stay there again on our next visit to Paris.

Just to find something to improve, the lighting in the breakfast room is a bit dark, it could be more illuminated.

Fantastic location. All landmarks within walking distance . On a quiet street so no disturbance at night. Rooms lovely, very clean . Bed very comfortable. Booked two rooms and even though they weren’t adjacent to each other they were on the same floor….. each floor only has a few rooms so we were close together anyway. Staff very friendly and helpful

The breakfast was good - Lot of cold Options however they had scrambled eggs and sausages as hot options. Lots of varied restaurants and coffee shops nearby. 5 minutes walk to the metro - which we did not take during our stay. They allowed us to check in early which was very kind given we came in from Switzerland after a 5 hr train journey. They also allowed us to choose from 2 room options basis the view which was a surprise!! Staff were super supportive - helped us with a global adaptor when ours did not plug in to the socket.

Only 1 elevator which was small - however this is possibly standard for Paris

From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Lamia we felt warmly welcomed. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location can’t be beat. Great area, close to 2 different metro lines- especially love the Madeline stop on the 14 as it has an elevator! The hotel has an elevator too that was small but perfect for 2 people and their luggage. Our room - but larger than most - was on the 6th floor with a balcony that was lovely and made the space we had so much more enjoyable as Parisian rooms are typically small. They provided some water and juice and soda, great towels and wonderfully comfortable bed. Would stay there again in a flash. Clean and tasteful. Carpets I believe will be upgraded soon and that would make all even better.

The receptionist Samira was amazing, friendly, and helpful. And the breakfast staff following morning was nice too. Location perfect. Had a great night sleep which was major!! and very clean comfortable quality bedding. Great choice of teas will a few little complimentary snacks. And expresso coffee mashine. Loved the Damana products in bathroom and they had everything you could need. Really great hotel and would stay again.

The only thing i noticed was the carpet (beige colour) was a bit dirty and quite worn in places. But I was told they are going to be refurbishing soon which will sort that ;-).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Folkestone Opera Hotel in Paris, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The hotel itself is charming, with a perfect blend of classic Parisian elegance and modern amenities. Its location is ideal, close to major attractions but tucked away in a peaceful area. Every detail of my stay was seamless, and I left feeling refreshed and grateful for the amazing service. Highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Paris! And I would like to Thank Mr Willy for his super amazing hospitality. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Best hotel I've stayed in. The staff at the reception named Lyes is so niceee! We were in a hurry because our plane was canceled, but he was very patient in helping us, helped solve a lot of our difficulties, and gave us a lot of comforts. Also recommended restaurants for us the next day which was appreciated. Although neither of us spoke English as our mother language, we had a lot of great communication. Meeting him was the happiest memory of my trip to Paris! Lyes deserves. And also the bed is so comfortable. These two days I had the best sweet dream of my whole life. I like it.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the breakfast buffet, decor of the room, courtesy of the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms were excellent. Snacks and toiletries were restocked every day and a detailed cleaning was done. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was not a normal French breakfast and there were plenty of options in the buffet. I would like to thank the hotel for the interest and care it shows to its customers. Since the weather was rainy, there was even an umbrella service for customers. In general, it was beyond my expectations. Thank you for everything.

This hotel is exceptional! Special shout out to the hotel manager Wali and the kind and beautiful Maeva! Hotel Folkestone Opéra truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the incredibly welcoming staff, always greeting guests with a warm smile, made me feel right at home hun. The rooms are impressively spacious (by French standards) and impeccably clean. Airport Access: Getting here from Orly Airport is straightforward. The M14 metro line takes you directly to the Madeleine stop, just a five-minute walk from the hotel. Alternatively, an Uber ride costs around €37. Location: The location is unbeatable! Just steps from the hotel, there are two convenience stores that stock a wide range of essentials (I personally had to grab a hairbrush and found everything I needed). Directly across the street, there's a charming wine bar that stays open late but keeps a peaceful atmosphere. Numerous excellent dining options are also within a short walking distance. I even walked to the Eiffel Tower, which was a pleasant and scenic stroll. For those who prefer to drive, an Uber ride costs about €13. Cleanliness: Spotless! I accidentally spilled an entire cup of cola, but after the room was cleaned, there wasn't a trace of it. A perfect 10/10 for cleanliness. Room: The room was lovely, featuring a double glazed Juliette balcony, a desk, and thoughtful touches like complimentary coffee machine with pods , tea, a kettle, water, and a mini-fridge. The provided shower gel and shampoo/conditioner were high quality, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was on the smaller side, but the bathroom itself was pristine. There’s also a generously sized wardrobe and a safe for valuables. Breakfast: Breakfast was delicious and served with the same friendly smiles. I tend to eat breakfast later in the morning, and I appreciated that the hot food was still fresh and well-stocked.
