Location was excellent. Staff were very attentive and courteous.

The elevator broke down on our last 2 days. Had to climb up 5 flights of stairs. Once we had to go all the way back down when both our 2 card keys wouldn’t working. So that was really traumatic, climbing 5 floors only to find out you have to go back down to get your card keys reset, then go back up to your room. Despite this issue, the staff were very apologetic and helpful. They even carried our luggage all the way down for check out, while keeping smiles on their faces.

Right bank boutique hotel, convenient access to Airport Bus near the opera and events at the Olympia. Room was smaller than expected, but functional. I requested to be off the street and was on the courtyard, which was quieter, despite renovations next door. The young front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, merci. I didn't try the amenities--I think they were free, but this wasn't clear...? The public areas are decorated with red velvet and dark wood, the room was a bit lighter and brighter. Overall a decent one-night stay, thank you.

Unfortunately I had a mouse run across my foot while waiting for my room to be ready...a first for me in Paris, maybe he is training for the Olympics?!

Decor, service and location (proximity to landmarks). The concierge was fantastic! Made my breakfast, cocktails and gave me great recommendations.

The curtains were dirty, there was an old toothpick/flosser on the floor, the housekeeping is very loud in the morning with door slamming when I was trying to sleep.

Beautiful hotel that has been well thought out. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was lovely. Location was excellent! Really loved the rooms and the modern bathroom.

I would have liked a kettle in the room or some access to hot drinks during my stay. If it was available it wasn’t advertised well.

The staff were extremely kind, friendly and hospitable. The location was perfect for l’Opera Garnier, Le Louvre and shopping at Galeries Lafayette. A lift meant that handling luggage was easy. The bed was comfy, the thermostat responsive and the ability to open the large windows onto the quiet street below was a huge bonus. The room service was prompt and the bath/ shower facilities were among the easiest to fathom in central Europe. I grew to like this property more and more the longer I stayed in it.

I liked that the accommodation was environmentally friendly but I would have profited from one bright desk lamp.

Room was on the small side to much furniture in for a small room Not enough storage and nowhere to put our luggage not to a 4 star hotel rating 😔 Hanging space was small so nowhere to put our coats 😔 Because the lack of storage we had to keep stuff in our cases 🤷🏼. Poor

Location and style of the Hotel

Hotel ideal for tourists, not for working people, as in my case. In the room the space for working on the PC is very limited and uncomfortable. In the bathroom I would suggest putting a curtain or glass to limit water splashing on the floor if you shower.

It was my first stay at Athénee, but not the last. Perfect French hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms. The breakfast is perfect. I can only recommend this hotel - even though I would like to keep it as my own secret stay in Paris

We were given a room that was just too small for a couple for 6 nights. The managers juggled things around and we were moved to a much better room at no additional expense.

The property was a piece of art with each corner of the Maison having a piece of history! The rooms were clean the staff I have no words for always excelling in everything we asked for ! This was our first time in Paris and I am thankful for the choice we made they exceeded our expectations!! Thank you for giving us a little of your hospitality and friendly environment making an impression that touched our hearts and made us look forwards to returning sooner rather than later!! ♥️♥️
