Great location, directly on La Pigalle, close to Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, 10min walk to La Fayette and Opera Garnier. It is the „red lights” area, but there are a few restaurants there as well. I stayed only for 2 nights to watch a show at Moulin Rouge - it was super easy to get there (3 min), even with my high heels on. There are free Haribo gummy bears and croissants for for the guests at the reception. The staff is super friendly and helpful

Everything was great, the only tiny disadvantage: no milk to my morning coffee in the room 😂 But there was a cafeteria and Starbucks near the hotel

Elizaveta the Receptionnist was super to help us to get started and we felt very happy about our choice after staying four nights there. Elizaveta and her colleagues are all extremely nice, which makes your really feel great about the hotel choice. Hotel has been very nicely renovated, and all the amenities are very nice.

The hotel is on Boulevard de Clichy, we had stayed in an off street and liked the convenience and closeness to Montmartre without the tourist mass flow. Unfortunately this very nice hotel is located next to a huge sex shop which could be an issue for a family. After the hotel staff spoke to us, we felt pretty safe in the area and can recommend the hotel based on the very good staff and the price/quality ratio,.

Location is excellent, right by the metro and a short walk (5 mins) to Rue des Abbesses and Rue des Martyrs for cafés, restaurants and boutiques. The room was a comfortable size and very clean and all three members of staff with whom I spoke were friendly and helpful. Air conditioning is a must in the summer and it was quick and effective - a true delight in the heat.

Ever so slightly tired in places but seems churlish to mention as it was so excellent otherwise and great value for money.

The location of the hotel was superb for access to the metro into other parts of the city and for Montmartre itself. It was reasonably priced, and clean. The staff were very friendly and approachable, they were very helpful when our train was cancelled and we needed to stay an extra night - nothing was too much trouble for them and they were able to help us with no fuss. We did not eat in the hotel as we wanted to explore the city and eat in different places. Overall we found it ideal as a base to explore the city.

Just be aware that the hotel is surrounded by sex shops - we counted 34 on the block. However, the giant yellow duck in one sex shop's doorway became a location marker for our hotel as it was next door lol. Having said that overall we were more than happy with the hotel so would stay here again.

It's a very nice cozy hotel in a very good location where the metro is just a couple of minutes walking distance. The entire staff are amazing. All of them are very helpful, welcoming, informative, smiling and ready to do anything possible to make your stay as much as enjoyable. There are tons of restaurants, pharmacies, bars, super markets and groceries in the neighborhood which are all walking distance. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. the breakfast was really delicious with good variety. it's a highly recommended hotel, and certainly i will return back.

There was unpleasant smell in the corridor but it wasn't a big deal.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mercure. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the stay was 10/10. When we arrived we received such a warm welcome from Elizaveta which really set the tone for our trip. We stayed in one of the privilege rooms which included double windows that opened out. We could utilise the mini bar in our room which was free and well stocked with soft drinks which were well needed after a full day of exploring! Also, every day in the afternoon little cookies or flapjacks were left! The hotel was modern inside combined with a traditional French feel. We actually got engaged on the trip and we genuinely were excited to tell Elizaveta the news after our wonderful stay! Thank you all at Mercure but in particular thank you Elizaveta for everything!

The location was ideal — a stone’s throw from Rue des Abbesses in Montmartre and near the shops; the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean and bathrooms super comfortable. The small treats left in the room also made for a nice treat. We also had a room with a view of the Sacre Coeur, which made for lovely mornings and evenings. Easily the hotel we enjoyed best in our trip.

Only minor things like not having room amenities topped up automatically (e.g. coffee capsules, complementary water); the room also only had one robe and pair of slippers when we first arrived, but all of these are easily resolved for by calling reception.

Great location (especially for Monmatre and Garde du Nord) and right by the metro for easy travel around Paris. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the rooms were decent size, breakfast was amazing, and the room was so quiet you'd never know you were in the middle of a city.

The hotel is nestled between 'adult' venues - the location won't be for everyone's tastes, especially those with children. But to stress the hotel is an oasis of calm and quiet when inside and you hear no noise from outsiide at all, we loved our stay and our 9yo didn't seem to notice what was in the shop windows

Great stay, our room had a nice view on Montmartre and we slep fantastic even if it is in a lively area. There is a filtered water point to refill your water bottle and the fridge in the room cools it down quickly. The metro is literally 50 m away which is perfect for visiting and only 3 stops from Gare du Nord. Plenty of nice bakeries and gift shops in the area too.

Our Maestro debit card could not be used for the deposit (despite being accepted for paying the city tax) so we used cash instead - just come prepared if you do not have another type of card ;)

The hotel is in a great location that is safe but also lively. Access to the meto right across the street made it easier to get anywhere in Paris in 15-25 minutes. Just steps away from Mon Marte. The hotel staff was great and welcoming. They give you large bottles of filtered water and snacks. Very clean rooms with no signs of bed bugs for those worried about Paris. I would 100% stay here again.

My only complaint would be that I found the bed to be very firm; however, I love a soft plush bed. I would 100% stay here again.
