Was a nice place to stay, staff were lovely and I was upgraded to a room with a terrace, amazing shower pressure very comfortable sheets and pillows. Nice decorations and good facilities.

I am very disappointed that it was not stated a 100€ security deposit was needed on arrival and was told it would be refunded after my stay but a month later I have still not received this. This needs to be advertised as it was quite stressful while travelling solo on a budget to be hit with a fee that wasn’t advertised. Although the sheets and pillows were comfortable the bed wasn’t great, it felt lumpy and like you were laying on a bunched up piece of plastic. Tiny room and barely able to lay my suitcase down.

The hotel was great, the room was nice, and the staff was friendly. The rooms are cleaned every day, there is free wi-fi, and most importantly the neighbourhood is very nice. There are many buses in the area, you will be 10 min away from the nearest train and metro station, and 20 min away from the Eiffel Tower. I would recommend the hotel for everyone who wants to see Paris for a few days.

The only thing that we did not expect was a deposit that was requested when we checked in. However, it was retrieved the day after we left.

no coffee machine in the room. I got one when I asked. and non espresso just boiler and coffee.

- Great location, close to shopping mall, supermarket, metro and bus stops - Fun games room - Receptionist multi-lingual and really helpful - Beds are sooooo comfortable!

- We booked 3x rooms. All were classic rooms, but they were all different sizes and the beds sizes ranged from 2 singles pushed together to a nice queen. - The cleaner left their dirty dust rag in our room! - After the cleaners cleaned our room, they kept replacing and taking away our towels, even though we hung them up as per their requests to reduce washing waste. Had to request more towels from reception.

The atmosphere and overall presentation of the hotel was excellent. The 50s Hollywood theme was fun but not overdone to the point of being cheesy. Very welcoming staff and nothing was a problem. The room was exceptionally clean and well presented. Bathroom and shower were spotless. Not sure why people are saying rooms are too small… we stayed in a classic room and it was more than adequate and superb value for money. Would definitely stay again

If I had to find a negative then it would be no tea or coffee facilities in the room but that was all

The location is good- somehow in a backstreet quiet; yet turn the corner and everything you need is there. This is a boutique style hotel- modern artistic styling and eco friendly. my room had windows that looked outside and opened. there is a well stocked mini-bar, but it will cost you. staff was overall polite, and worked with my lack of French language. a good. clean hotel.

housekeeping did not comply with my “ do not disturb” sign. seems every day somehow the placard I placed on the door handle fell down; resulting in opening of the door with me in my underwear, or worse. They need to know travelers come from long distances where circadian rhythms are different ( Jet Lag). shower- no tub. Breakfast is not worth mentioning. Go out and get a crepe or something.

The staff were excellent, friendly, and very helpful! The room was also excellent. We had read prior reviews before booking and were a little worried about the size of the rooms. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the room was perfectly sized for two people. The bathroom was also a nice plus, as it had a large "jacuzzi"-style bathtub. The theme of the hotel was also entertaining! Also, we really liked the location of the hotel in Paris, as the neighborhood was quiet while still being close to cafes, shopping, and several metro stops. It was only a fifteen minute walk to the Eiffel Tower! Overall, perfect stay and would recommend highly!

We settled on the Platine Hotel because we wanted a room that could accommodate 2 parents and 2 kids, and the hotels located more centrally were outrageously expensive. We booked a "family" room, which I expected to be 2 rooms sharing 1 bathroom - but it actually turned out to be 2 separate rooms - each with their own bathroom (bonus!) - located next to each other (but not connecting); there was another door that could theoretically be closed to then allow you to keep the 2 bedroom doors open, but when we did that, staff would come by and open it back up. The theme of the hotel was Hollywood glamour - hence the name Platine, meaning platinum (like platinum hair). This company apparently operates 7 hotels in Paris, each with a different theme and using a different name. The feeling was laid-back but still nice. There were a few restaurants and 2 metro stops within walking distance, but it certainly wasn't in a touristy area. Walking to the Eiffel Tower is possible, but it's a long walk. The service was extremely friendly. Everything was clean. Breakfast was available for 20 euros each, but we didn't choose that.

It's a long walk to get to the Eiffel Tower, and there really isn't anything else touristy in the area, meaning you need to take the metro or a cab/Uber to get anywhere - which is fine, but just be aware.

Interconnecting family rooms were very useful. Games room was good fun. Breakfast good

Our room (305) had a rubbish shower - it was a handheld one but the wall bracket didn't work. Had to use shower in kids room. Very poor storage in our bedroom too. Air conditioning didn't seem to change from 19 degrees whatever temperature it said.

We stayed at the hotel this 11-14 April 2023... The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, 10/15min walk from the Eiffel Tower, rooms and facilities were fantastic and the price the most competitive we seen for the location. Would recommend 100%! We travelled mainly for my wife's birthday celebrations but also as we are approaching our 1year wedding anniversary. I notified the hotel of this and asked if I could sort anything I could sort for the room, to our pleasant surprise when we turned up there was Happy Birthday balloons in the room, a very special surprise. Also when forgetting my European plug adapter for the UK, the reception were on hand to lend me one for the duration. The free to use games room was amazing also! Thanks again to all the staff, absolutely faultless :) and my wife loved her 30th birthday present in Paris!! Thanks again, Phil & Sarah.
