The prices at the restaurants. Because we're at the airport and not in a village where we can walk around and choose, I feel there's nothing wrong with having a high end restaurant with a great view but it would be nice if there could be a more budget friendly restaurant for people who are there because they've been stranded at the airport (airline problems, strikes, etc.)

I originally made the same booking for a week later but due to a hospital appointment I had to bring it forwarded. I was VERY disappointed that neither the hotel nor the booking agency would make a transfer. Therefore my one night stay was double the price. Maybe the management could have made some sort of compensation,

Vicky was wonderfully friendly when we checked in. Explaned everything that we needed to know. We got an upgrade, which was unexpected and the room was massive.we faced the runway and it was quiet. The bathroom was sensational and we made full use. Lovely fluffy robes and slippers to take. The bed was fantastic. Comfy and fresh. The room was dark at night and again, quiet.

Expensive restaurant onsite and rooftop wasn't open. The airport has good mix of food to choose from. Choice of TV channels not great. Weren't able to both have luggage on racks which is odd for 2 people

I arrived at the hotel late after midnight very tired as I had been traveling all day. A happy smiling and excellent professional employee welcomed me at the reception desk. I was upgraded to a room on the 7th floor Club Luxury room. Thank you very much for this . I went to the room really wonderful , huge well equipped and clean . I slept on one of the best comfortable mattresses. WONDERFUL. The breakfast was a great surprise. There I found a really huge buffet with an incredible variety ready to cover even the most difficult needs of even the most demanding visitors . There is a chef who can prepare anything for you in omelette, scrambled eggs or eggs benedict. Waiters going up and down all the time they asked me more than 10 times if everything is ok or if I want somethin more all professionals , really i felt like home. I slept great and ate incredibly well . Thank you Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel for the wonderful stay once again , i haven't been here for several years and I'm glad to see that you keep up the wonderful work

Everything perfect.

2 minutes walk to airport departures. Excellent/friendly staff. The only hotel right near the airport - very convenient for early flight (left the room 1.5 hours before flight time and still had 40 min. free time before boarding)

The expensive/marble based shower had no thermostat. Water was either burning hot or cold with no way to keep at usable temperature, it felt like any toilet flush in the hotel changed water to burning hot. The only hotel so close to airport so it truly enjoys no competition - check the bar/restaurant prices before ordering to avoid bill shock

The location is superb for a traveller, who is forced to stay a night over waiting for the next flight. And as a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel, it is very good. And it has all the facilities I never can use because of the nature of my short stays I have had there.

There is nothing not to like as such. This hotel is the only one at the airport, where you can easily walk in five minutes. No hassle with taxies or waiting for hotel shuttles that might or might not come late in the night or early in the morning. Just a pity, that Sofitel so obviously uses this advantage to the maximum with the very high prices.

Immaculate hotel, lovely breakfast and dinner (really good food) and great location.

Dinner was very expensive (€80 for one person) and very little food., Drinkd were very expensive (€8 for half a glass of sparkling water!) and €12 for a tiny glass of wine. The Health Suite was lovely but the gym was tiny considering how large the hotel is. There is good equipment in it (although one treadmill was out of order) and a good range of heavy dumbbells. One thing I didn’t like was the creepy Lifeguard - he kept staring at me through the glass whilst I was working out - it was very off putting!).

Proximity to the airport was excellent and my main reason for choosing the hotel. My wife and I were "guests of the day" - a nice surprise which, of course, made our short stay even better. The reception host was very kind and explained all the came with the selection. The upgraded room was very nice as I am sure the orginal room i booked would have been as well. We had a very early flight and felt uncomfortable asking for breakfast in our room at 3:00 am (part of the guest of the day experience) but Vicki made us feel it was not a problem. The breakfast that was delivered was superb and really got our long journey home to the US off to a great start.

There really was not anything we didn't like and I would tell you if there was. I felt the room was a bit pricey escpecially for us having such a short stay.

Great location adjacent to airport - you simply walk across the street. Room was very clean, comfortable & spacious. Nice robes & slippers provided. Soundproofing was top notch - you would never know your next to or near the airport. Beds were comfy but a bit too soft for my taste but it was like climbing into a soft fluffy cloud. Food & staff were exceptional from check-in, to restaurant’s staff, to check out. We had lunch at outdoor cafe, shared a club sandwich which was very good & large enough to share. Came with fries - yum! We had dinner on 9th floor restaurant, cool vibe with modern twist on greek architecture. We shared a salad & the grouper. The presentation was amazing & the meal was incredible. One of my favorite meals in Greece. Our server was incredible. Loved, loved, loved this hotel.

Great hotel, we’ve stayed at Sofitel in other locations & they do a wonderful job on everything.

Hotel is 5-star and we enjoyed all the usual pleasures of staying in a luxury place.

Our aim was to walk off a plane and relax for 24 hours without transfers or hassles. We were happy to pay for this privilege. So, we were disappointed the pool was closed for unplanned maintenance. There was nothing offered when we went to the pool floor (eg free drink, discount on a massage etc). We ordered soup from in-room dining which was excellent, but delivered with a knife and fork, not a spoon. Little things, but it is 5-star.
