The location of the hotel is very convenient. Rooms are clean and cozy. But the best thing above all is the breakfast. It has a good variety of different things. Everything is fresh and tasty. People with special diets will find a lot of options as well.

We were warned by the hotel staff in advance, and it isn't really hotels' fault, but the construction area nearby affects the mood a bit. However, since the work is done only 9-17 on workdays, if you plan to only sleep or stay over the weekend, the disturbance would be minimal.

The staff were great - offered us a choice of rooms and recommended the quiet side; good dinner recommendations. The room was nice, quiet and clean. The hotel is in a good location, but the railway station is a bit of a walk; bus station very close. The breakfast was good, though there were fruit flies around the bread. The bathroom had a heated floor which dried the shower water from the floor quite quickly for the next person; no squeegee.

The blockout curtains in the room did not cover the whole windows. The beds were comfortable but the bed bases seemed spongy.

Smooth service and check in. Amazing breakfast. Nice and hot sauna.

Rooms are not super visitor friendly: No place to put and open the suitcase, except the floor or beds. The room had a working desk, but no socket to connect the laptop charger, thus I couldn't use the desk to work. Also my room sink was not cleaned and contained make-up stains upon arrival. On check out, the lobby was full of rowdy Friday morning beer drinkers, which made passing of some time not so pleasant.

Hotel Emilia is easy to find and welcoming! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We asked and got a quiet room to sleep in, and that was very nice. The room was neat and classic, quite modern style. There's a club in the same building (just next door), and the entrance fee is discounted for the hotel guests. The hotel guests get also discount from Piparkakkutalo-restaurant's ala carte. There are also other nice restaurants -Thai, Vietnamese and Nepalese- very close by. The breakfast is superb(!) – with lots of vegan alternatives, such as porridge with jam or Finnish berries, soy youghurts, fruits, bread and sweet things... Just to name a few examples. Can genuinely recommend!

We were very happy with the hotel. At the club (which was K-26 and most of the people around 30–60 years old or so) it was nice to hear some older music from the 1980s and 90s, but the DJ could have played just a bit wider range of music, such as disco, Northern soul, funk and a fresher collection of Finnish music. That would have made us stay a bit longer at the dance floor and the place!

The hotel is centrally located. The room is small but functional, clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent and the personnel very friendly. Possibility to park in the hotel hall for 14€/day is very convenient.

The room could have had a second chair and some more hooks. Bed lighting would be nice. There was only rooms with Twin beds. We would have preferred a double bed.

I like the comfortness of Emilia; it´s not too luxurious. The breakfast is good and versatile and yes the situation in the middle of town couldn´t be better for a pedestrian traveller like me. Thank you.

This is now in general: I would like the towels in hotels to be more ecological these days. The thick material takes space in washing machines and demands t energy to dry. And the white colour in them demand washing powders meant for white washing.

The room we stayed in had been refurbished, including the wc/shower room. The rooms are rather compact but everything worked for us. Our 2 dogs were welcomed at €10 for the night. We also reserved the sauna, which was very nice. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented.

The shower room glass screen was much too narrow and so the whole floor got wet. Toiletries were small plastic bottles.

Hotel Emilia is in the heart of Hameelinna city, located right in the city center, 5 minutes away from the shopping mall and 15 minutes away from the train station. The breakfast was great and the staff friendly.

The WiFi was not working properly. Everything else was good.

Excellent breakfast (a good number of vegetarian / vegan options, also gluten free options available)! Lovely Marimekko-themed interior :)

The room had a kettle, but not an extension cord so we needed to unplug a lamp and place the kettle on the floor to use it - it worked but was a bit too much hassle...

Didn’t like that it’s not possible to have the beds put together. It should be easy to own some clips to fasten them and some double sheets
