In the city centre, easy access, clean, fridge, microwave, kettle, tea, comfortable beds.

When I had left the room I realized I hadn’t hung the tag saying ”Have checked out” on the door (which I was told to do). I was going to enter the room again using the code, but it didn’t work any more, so I couldn’t get back in, even if there were three hours left of my stay. Thank god I hadn’t just popped out for some shopping leaving my stuff in the room. I had everything with me so I just left. Only paid parking nearby ( I got myself a fine because of misunderstanding the parking signs).

Excellent location. The room was spacious, very clean and quiet. There's no breakfast at the Omena Hotels, but as there's a fridge and a kettle (+ tea and coffee) in the room, you can buy what you like and easily arrange a breakfast for yourself. Automated check-in is easy (codes arrive in time etc), but bear in mind that with this kind of arrangement you need to think where you leave your luggage if you arrive before check-in time or leave after check-out time.

The only downside was that I had to store my luggage at the railway station on arrival, as I arrived well before check-in time, and also before leaving Jyväskylä, because it was after check-out. The station is very near though, so it's not a big deal if you know it beforehand-

The hotel is located in another building, but in the city center, and close to everything. It was easy to find. The room was fresh and very clean. It had a table, chairs, and a comfortable bed. There is a small refrigerator and also a kettle and teabags. Very nice large towels in the bathroom. Very quiet.

Simple and decent hotel, with all-you-need in there for a budget. Skip the human contact and the reception, skip the breakfast, and you have everything: a large and clean room, microwave oven, water-heat-can, tea and coffe, glasses, bathroom, air conditioning and so on. It was a great solution (a less luxurious one), but more than decent if you only need the basics. Fair for the money, simple and with no surprises.

No window opening, so you rely on the air conditioning. And also, you really have no way to step in earlier than 16.00 (so I had to improvise with the remaining time).

Personalised TV access was fun! Our stay was really nice, we appreciate the location and how everything worked, the key was sent early enough and everything was fine:)

Shower. Although it says to not waste water, there is no way to turn off the shower - you just need to wait for the timer to stop the water itself:(

Highly recommended hotel.Only can't sleep well because any room next to me keep going in and out and slamming the door.I suggest should put something on the door to not make any noise while opening and closing it.Thank you.

I got an accessible room without asking for that so I had a lot of space. The hotel is a budget one with nothing extra but everything you need. The location is in the very heart of Jyväskylä and almost next to the stations.

The place of the hotel

I want to express my disappointment regarding the hotel responsiveness to guest requests, especially the extent of departure time. As a result, my wife and my one-year-old daughter were waiting for me outside the hotel in cold weather for 4 pm until the conference at Jyväskylä University was ended.

I found it funny to sleep in my aunts old working place. Pleased to see that the building hasn't been demolished but made into a hotel. The room was so spacious and clean. 😊
