The breakfast was great. The location is also nice, just a 7 min walk from the train station and very close to the main street. The staff was friendly.

I asked if early check-in was possible before my arrival through booking.com. And the hotel said early check-in would cost EUR20. On my arrival day, I asked the reception if early check-in was possible. They said yes but didn't mention the cost. I only knew I had to pay for the early check-in during my check-out. It would be much better if the staff stated it clearly when I requested early check-in in person that day. Coz sometimes some hotels offer free early check-in even though it is usually charged.

Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. We booked a room with a private sauna, spacious enough for a family with kids. Comfortable beds with good mattresses and soft, clean sheets. The TV supports streaming from your own device without logging in—great for a movie night. The pool area is small but well maintained and fun for children. Parking is easy, and paying at reception (€12/day) is cheaper than using the EasyPark app. The building is from the 70s–80s with a dated look, but interiors are clean, and the room felt modern and well kept.

I had a pleasant stay at this property. The location is excellent, with convenient parking facilities. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable throughout our visit. The reception staff was warm and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free.

We stayed as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). The room had an extra bed already provided, which was convenient. However, once the extra bed was set up, the space became quite tight—only one person could move around at a time. That said, since we did not planned to spend much time inside the room, that wasn’t a big issue.

Right in town this was handy for a stopover on our way north. The hotel is clean, has plenty of (paid) parking and is convenient to walk into town. Our room was comfortable and clean. A really nice bathroom with super deep bath.

I think it was overpriced for what it is. There isn’t much choice in the are so perhaps that is why. But it’s definitely expensive for a standard chain hotel outside of the main cities.

As we experienced in Turku already, the Scandic Hotel's design is very impressive and pragramatic, as in our case in Jyvaskyla as well. We loved the breakfast, the spacious room and bathroom and the big parking place on a reasonable price.

As we could enter into the hotel one level above the Reception, we felt the hotel a little bit impersonal, especially after our Turku-stay.

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, nice staff, well equipped gym for a hotel and good parking.

It would have been nice if the window in the room was possible to open. I’m used to sleep with open window all year and it was not possible to set the ac tempersture below 20 degrees. It was just too hot.

Breakfast was very good with lots of options,even gluten free. But only regular cofee, Cappuccino machine would be nice.

Very cold pool area and water, not pleasant to stay in water, especially in winter cold season. In the room and bathroom was quite chilly, though we put max AC No slippers,no bathrobes in the room.

Practical hotel and clean, and decent breakfast. The main guy at the bar/restaurant was very professional, friendly and helpful. Also, conveniently located.

Breakfast finishes a bit too early and the bar closes far too early in the evening.

Room itself (402) was spacious, clean and had the necessary amenities. Scandinavian clean could be a good description. Beds were comfy and have nothing to complain about not being able to sleep comfortably through the night. Bathroom fits the same description: spacious, clean and functional.

The view was nothing to cheer about, small window to the parking lot. Another small complaint is how Scandic as a chain should re-design the recycling bins in the room, they are just small and completely useless for anything that cannot be pressed into a small size.

I got room for people with disabilities. So, the bathroom was not nice since I needed to pick up the water after every shower. I would like if they asked me do I eant that king of room
