Together with a friend, we decided to spend a weekend in Neustadt to relax and do some hiking across the neighboring wineyards. Achat seemed a nice hotel, properly located close to the station and with a fair cost. We got slightly worried about the subptimal average review score (less than 8) but we decided to give it a try. The staying was amazing! The staff was nice and welcoming. We decided to get breakfast as well for 10 € and we enjoyed the very furnished buffet with fruits, yogurt. bacon, eggs, cheese, and many other delicacies. We did not try the Sauna available for free at the place, but everything else was amazing.

I thought how people could rate this hotel poorly. I guess the only reason may be that the structure and the rooms are not new and, apart from the nice modern bar, maybe the hotel may seem a bit old style. Yet, I think that for a 3 stars hotel and for 50 € per night each or as couple, it's a very nice deal!

Convenient for both town and station, lift working, helpful, efficient and friendly staff, very clean, excellent bathroom and shower - and an unexpected bonus of a small fridge in the room! Furniture maybe a bit dated, but that was no issue and I'd definitely stay there again. I asked for an extra towel and this was brought to me within 5 minutes, exemplifying the great attitude from all the staff I met.

Being English, I'm used to a kettle with tea-making facililties in hotels, but this does not seem to be the norm in most other European countries, and I have not marked down this hotel for the lack of them - I simply mention it for other Brits who may visit.

Very centrally located, which is especially great if you're arriving in Neustadt by train! The hotel was busier than we had expected, but we had not known there was a wine festival when we made the reservation (we were attending a private party in Maikammer). Can recommend exploring the area between the hotel and the Marktplatz - there is an amazing fountain with sculptures by Gernot Rumpf - small children will delight in it (and the kid inside you will love it too)!

Parking was terrible, but I don't think the hotel can be blamed, as there was a wine festival being held, and it was located in one of the train station's car parks, which meant we spent an hour looking for a parking space (tip: think of using the nearby Tiefgarage if you struggle to find anything on-street, or you are unable to get parking from the hotel, which is what happened to us).

Beds were perfect, but I did miss an additional pillow. The bathroom needs some refreshing. Shower instead of tub would be appreciated. The hotel adverts parking. We did arrive at 19.10 and got the virtually last spare patking spot in the garage. The breakfast is very good, with local sparkling wine includec.

Breakfast is OK, having different varieties of food. Room size, bed and pillow quality is good and room cleanliness is maintained in well manner. Location of this hotel is the best part, very close to train station and walking distance from city centre.

Breakfast was nice, rooms good, and we had a good one night stay.

We were were told we could park our motorcycles in the underground car park but it was full. We didn't know where to park and the staff at the hotel were not too helpful.

The location and the staff wer very good.

Everytime we took a shower the floor of the bathroom got flooded. The double bed was in fact 2 single matresses put together on the bed. It could be more comfortable.

Asked for a parking space, which was offered. Upon arrival I was told the garage is under renovation. So I had to use public parking. I think i should have been informed prior to my arrival.

Our stay at achat hotel was very nice great location friendly staff and an exceptional breakfast very friendly bar staff and a great setting sitting in courtyard having a beer great value

Great location, good price and friendly staff. Easy to walk into town. Underground parking. Comfy beds. Met our needs.

Could do with some updating but for us it wasn’t a problem as perfect for our needs and a great price
