We loved the location, the architecture, the facilities, the Shuttle to Belmont and the Ferry Shuttle to Hamilton, the staff, the restaurant. We live in the UK but lived in Bermuda for 40+ years, this will be our "go-too" place to stay going forward!

Our room felt a little tired and the bedding was a bit uncomfortable - but these are tiny things in comparison with what was good about our Newstead stay!

We had a fabulous time staying at the Newstead for our girls weekend. The rooms and suites were spacious and comfortable, the restaurants were excellent, golf was very lovely and the course was just challenging enough, and the spa was very nice. The staff was pleasant and helpful when we inquired on anything. The views and grounds are beautiful!

It would have been helpful to be able to have access to purchase food for our suite more easily. The only choice for food in the room was to order from one restaurant, or pay for a taxi to go to the grocery store. The heater to the heated pool was broken, so unfortunately we were not able to enjoy that on our last two days.

Staff and views are amazing! Spaciousness of suites cant be beat. Double balcony was an nice treat too. We love full kitchens and this one was perfect. Pools were gorgeous and warm, very well maintained.

Food wasnt as good as I expected and exhorbitantly priced. Tennis courts could have been in much better shape. New tennis court nets would be the easiest immediate fix needed.

Enjoyed our stay - quiet environment and friendly staff throughout. Views across bay to Hamilton City were excellent, especially from infinity pool. Free shuttle services to Hamilton, Newstead golf club and beach were very helpful. Director of Golf (Darron) provided great assistance to us in sorting our golf games (we played five times during our stay!). Food in Aurora was excellent. Kitchen area within room very helpful in sorting out breakfast options. Overall we had a great time at the resort.

I loved the privacy, cleanliness and beauty. the staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Latitcia, at the front desk went over and beyond in our estimation. she is a gem. She personally made sure were were situated. she escorted us to our room. Set up the AC and got the TV working. she gave us a tour of the property on our way and showed us the best routes to go to avoid the steps. That’s just a taste of what she did to make sure we were comfortable. She is amazing!! An asset to your establishment.

I have physical challenges and the steps and getting in and out of the tub were challenging. I also wish there was a rail for the hot tub. If I would have known it would be such a challenge, I would have booked a room with a step in shower.

Bathroom shower on/off water handle was loose and fell off once. In the bedroom there was something like an electrical panel by the wood closet.

The resort is a tropical beauty with spectacular views. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful in many ways. Our suite provided a good gathering place for our family of 10 who were in nearby rooms.

It would have been very helpful to have grab bars in the bathroom areas for anyone in a wheelchair or who uses a rollator for walking. The height of the bed needs to be more conducive for people with mobility issues. These additions would also be valuable for any older guests who appreciate safety measures.

I loved the shuttle service to various points of interest! That was a fabulous amenity!!

I booked through Booking.com which told me breakfast was included. However, the resort said it wasn't and would not honor the booking.com information. I even called the resort to make sure breakfast was included on March 20th. They said yes!

I loved the complimentary Shuttle! And the Pool was beautiful!

There was actually one Cockroach in our room -- which I was able to kill on Friday night. I was super grossed out :-(

We paid to get upgraded to a 2-bedroom and it was the best decision. We like this resort because of the friendly staff, the beautiful view from our large balconies (since we upgraded, we had 2 large balconies), the well-equipped kitchen for us to make simple meals (breakfast), and the free ferry ride from the resort to Hamilton. The resort also offers one free round of golf which we didn't have time to enjoy. We like the on-site restaurant, Aurora. The staff was friendly at the Aurora and the lunch was very very good. We stayed for 2 nights and moved to a beach resort for the rest of our stay but Newstead was a better fit for a family of 4 adults who prefer simple and quiet breakfast on the balcony.

We didn't like the Blu, an upscale restaurant at the resort. The hostess was rude and obviously not well-trained for an upscale and pricey place. Actually, she was beyond rude and I would have walked out of the restaurant if I weren't considering my family members (they were hungry).
