The breakfast was good. We had lots of options that you would have at home. The hours the breakfast was available was excellent as we are early risers. The room was very clean and I noticed the staff would be in checking frequently when no one was in the room to be sure it was clean. They also made sure that there was plenty of food available at all times.

The room was a little small when they had large groups in which I noticed only one morning during our stay. It was a sports event so everyone likely had to be out the door at once.

Front desk and kitchen staff were great. Breakfast was tasty, with many choices. Even though it was peak time, supplies were replenished quickly. Room was quiet and clean and was even made up daily (Daily service doesn't appear to be the norm anymore). Wife enjoys the TV channel selection. We've stayed here before and continue to do so whenever we come to Owen Sound, as it's quite pleasant. We like that no animals are allowed. It's our choice for the area.

I am not a fan of its use of dynamic pricing, but my disapproval won't change it. It would be nice to have a channel guide for the TV. Wifi is okay but is unsecured; it needs to be encrypted.

Here are top five elements that made for a good stay Spacious Rooms & Clean and Well-Stocked : The rooms were a good size, providing ample space to relax and walk-out window-doors to comfortably step out into the parking lot. The towels were clean and the bathroom was well-stocked with fresh towels. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The entire hotel had a clean and fresh feel, making for a pleasant stay. Two aspects that could've been better. There was a payment discrepancy between Booking.com and the hotel - This caused some confusion and inconvenience during check-in/out. During my stay (which coincided with a busy summer long weekend), the breakfast area became overcrowded and quite loud very quickly. That said, there was alternatives for guests to take the breakfast to the outside benches.

Staff was friendly, place was clean. Even though there were different volleyball teams staying at the hotel on that evening, we had a quiet and peaceful sleep. Breakfast was nice, bacon, eggs (the way McDonald's makes them, but a bit thinner), waffles, oatmeal, toast, fruits, juices... it was a nice start to our day.

No elevator, but luckily we didn't have heavy luggage or need help with accessibility. Anyone who did need help would most likely be placed on the main floor.

staff was very friendly and the facility was very clean. breakfast was also good and the price was for our stay was very fair. Our beds were great and the bathrooms were clean as well. WIFI was strong in our room and there was a refrigerator and coffee machine in our room along with a cabinet to store our jackets. Overall very happy with our stay. Would return if ever in Owen Sound again!

The front desk staff were excellent. Very professional friendly and accommodating. Helped us with booking a taxi to our event, our room was ready early and helped us with special request. The breakfast was excellent as well. Very happy with our stay.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Our only critique would be the ceiling was very stained and dirty, assumed it used to be a smoking room.

The employees of the hotel were friendly and helpful. The price of the hotel was quite fair compared to other accomodations in the area. Even if the rooms are a bit old-fashioned and the latest renovation seems to be done some years ago, the room and the bathroom were clean.

The second floor can only be reached by stairs. There is no lift which would make the transport of luggage / suitcase to the second floor easier. Some of the equipment of the hotel like the lights at the entrace area were not working properly. The breakfast room is quite small and only the typical items are served for breakfast.

The breakfast choices were excellent. The hours of operation of the breakfast area was great as we had early start to our day even on the weekend. We were lucky the breakfast area was 2 doors from our room.

The one evening our television kept trying to book up to Apple tv. We were not doing it. But we could over ride it.

American breakfast was very good. Very filling and satisfying. Bedding was clean and very comfortable.

Breakfast timing was 7-10 am, but on the second morning that we were there, they removed tea/coffee from the breakfast room by 9:45am. The heater kept switching on and off throughout the night and the fan was quite loud.

Changing rooms to second floor was more enjoyable. Very good breakfast with hot items choice. Front desk brought an extra comforter promptly.
