It is an ideal location for me, being halfway between my home in Ottawa & my daughter’s home in the Georgian Bay Area and it’s being right on Landsdown makes it extra convenient. The hot breakfast makes a great start to my continuing journey. The on-site restaurant is also a bonus but, one of the main things that keeps me coming back to the Comfort Inn is that the staff are all so pleasant & helpful from the desk clerks to the cleaning staff. On this occasion I had driven for 5 hours in a snow storm and the warm welcome and kindness from the night clerk who checked me in helped me to instantly start to relax.

I really have no complaints. One extra touch might be to include a vending machine with small items guests might have forgotten such as, tooth paste, mouth wash, shower caps, etc.

Very clean and lots of room. Parking was very easy outside the hotel. The breakfast was really good and a good selection of food.

During the night our smoke alarm decided to beep..... all night. This was very annoying, as we couldnt sleep with the loud beep. The sink in the bathroom was broken as the water wouldnt drain out because there was no lever to lift the plug...BROKEN. When we checked out we told them about these things and nothing was offered to us not even a reduction or points....... NOTHING.

Lemon water in lobby was so delicious and always available. The view of lower Lansdowne was so helpful as we decided our dinner destination. The number and arrangement of tables in the lobby/dining area was great for our group of 4, and our kids (and Dad) loved the pancakes & whipped cream, while Mom loved the coffee! Staff were friendly and helpful and we would recommend and stay again!

The staff went out of their way to try to make sure my stay was comfortable when I told them about my allergy to lemons. Since it's found in most cleaning supplies and soaps, they made sure to use special alternatives without sacrificing cleanliness. The room was large and spacious, and there were lots of pillows to add extra comfort. The breakfast was really good! I was sooo glad to see hot, fresh eggs and sausage as well as cereals, breads and even cinnamon rolls! I didn't have any Waffles but i was glad to see all the options.

The fridge in the room didn't seem to cool very much, even on max settings. The mattress itself was a bit too hard for my taste (but that's a personal preference, not their fault), so it's good there were more pillows. Finally, I was just a little curious as to why there was so much chlorine in the pool that it almost seemed as though there was a film of it on top, but otherwise, it was alright.

Pool was closed for maintenance however staff phoned me a day prior to my arrival to make sure that I had seen it listed on their website

The room was very clean. Had a fridge in it. Very convenient. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were very soft. The next morning breakfast was open at 6:00 a.m. it was a very good breakfast

What I didn't like was that my pop-up trailer wouldn't go up and I had to get a hotel for tonight Lol no

I liked the convenience of having a Kelsey’s restaurant attached. The room was clean & comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For a buffet, hotel, breakfast it had a good selection and the dining space is open and spacious feeling.

It didn’t really have any negatives. The pool was closed for renovations but they took the trouble to call to let me know ahead of time.

There wasn't anything noteworthy.

The door handle in the bathroom was so loose it was almost falling off. I tightened it the best I could but it would only take 30 seconds to tighten it properly with a screwdriver, so I'm surprised that no one would have reported it before I did.

Location, attached to a restaurant, had a pool and breakfast

The bed sheets had brown spots on them (not bed bugs!) and the cover sheet was very very wrinkled. We also stayed when a large group of kids (hockey comp) so there were kids running up and down the stairs and where up and down the elevator without parents (ages 4-9ish)

The staffs were excellent and friendly. The location was great. We would definitely come back to this location next time.

The chemical for the pool and hot tub was pretty strong. Other than that, it was nice for a swim and relaxing in the hot tub.
