Clean rooms, friendly & professional staff, Air Conditioning worked very well. Very good breakfast variety.

My only minor issue was the bed size. This facility only has queen size mattresses. We are both hot sleepers and require the extra space provided by a king size bed, during the summer months. That being said, we have stayed at all hotels chains in this area, and this hotel has the coldest, most efficient, and quietest air conditioning units, while also being the second cheapest price in the area. We really enjoyed the Embassy Suites nearby; the rooms were comparable, but they actually had King Size rooms; Breakfast was lesser Quality than Microtel, and the Price was Double that of Microtel. I would definitely highly recommend Microtel Dorval to a friend

As a family we enjoyed the pool and slide. The slide was a lot of fun. The hotel was very clean and modern. Breakfast was good. We felt very comfortable during our stay.

The pool deck was very slippery when wet. My son had a very bad fall while we were there and I saw others slipping as well. A non slip coating should be added to the pool deck. The pool area was not the cleanest. Hair and bandaids were always present on the deck. There also always seemed to be a pile of dirty towel filling the bin. Breakfast could be more organized a lot of people crowding the services area at the same time.

- waffle machine needs to be better. Never seen such a bad one. Also need more of them as there were line ups every day for breakfast.

On victoria say Monday you had one staff working the breakfast area and she was extremely grumpy as she had too much to do. Also need more safety for the water slide. It's an accident waiting to happen unless you have full time supervisor watching kids use it safely or not. Kidsare not using it safely

Sofa bed wasn't made up despite requesting it before arrival, sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable for our 10 year old to sleep on, only two towels in the room despite booking for 3 people and when an extra towel was requested, we were told it would be brought to the room but it never came

All staff members we dealt with were professional and helpful. We ate the best chicken tacos ever! Lots of good chicken breast pieces and done to perfection! The cook on the late evening shift was very accommodating, making our food even if it was late., and being very pleasant about it.

Noise level even on 5 th floor. The attendant at the front desk was kind enough to move us up from our original room. The noise machine helped but if u r a light sleeper, maybe not the best choice.

Breakfast was good. Location not as good for our particular purpose and not close to restaurants and such.

The location was not close to other amenities such as restaurants and since we did not have a car, we only ate at the hotel lobby lounge. Also the location was not as close to the shuttle service for a golf tournament at the Royal Montreal course (not knowing the area, it was our error to book a facility further away).

The breakfast was very busy and the staff was having a hard time refilling food on time. The waffle machine should be operated by staff since the guests burn the waffles and make the machine not usable for others. The parking was also way too busy and it was difficult finding a spot.

My best type of hotels: modern, clean, gives you the feeling you're the first one to use the room. Includes free breakfast, and has a nice indoor pool with a slide for kids. One thing that caught my attention is the CEO being always present on the ground with the hotel employees, inspecting and watching things, something I don't remember having seen elsewhere before.

If I have to mention something it would be the water backing up a little bit in the bathtub. Nothing serious but should be looked into.

Good breakfast. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Adequate space for suitcases.

Better sound proofing for highway noise. For us, the white noise generator provided was just as annoying. I wasn't told we needed our room access card to get out of the parking lot (why is that necessary?) so I was stuck at the lift gate with cars behind me. Had to do some awkward backing up and maneuvering to let them get by.

Needed an emergency hotel stay at 11pm, booked it and arrived 30 minutes later and they had everything ready. Staff was on the ball and got us checked in within a couple of minutes. Our room was clean and spacious. Loved how there was dove body products in the shower, so I felt totally comfortable to wash my hair and body without feeling like the products might damage my dry skin or curly hair. Parking was free which is always great. There was complimentary coffee in the front desk when we checked out the next morning. Honestly 10/10. Definitely gonna keep microtel in mind next time I go traveling.

A little bummed that they didn't have kind size beds, but queen was still very comfortable for my fiancé and I. Pillows are huge, so if you prefer a flatter pillow, I suggest bringing your own
