Not sure if this is a new hotel, but it felt like it. Everything was clean and in good condition. Comfy beds, lots of pillows. For me, having a Keurig coffee maker in the room is a deciding factor. I always carry some pods with me, just in case, and I was pleasantly surprised to find one here as in-room coffee in the morning is important to me. Online pre- check-in was easy and so I was just at the desk long enough to get my key cards. After a long exhausting drive, that was a relief. There was a continental breakfast included but we didn't have it.

If you have never stayed here, try it out. If you stayed here years ago, come back. The bedding was new and lovely. The bathroom lines were new or newer. Loved the Dove toiletries soap, shampoo & conditioner. Our room was very clean and smelled nice. Nothing fancy just a regular hotel room but the things I mentioned just made it so much nicer. The breakfast they provided was a cut above many others we have had. They actually had plain, cinnamon and raisin and whole wheat bagels. Never seen all 3 anywhere before. Omelettes that had small pieces of green and red peppers. Yum, yum. Yoghurt, varieties of cereal, sausages, juice, milk, great coffee and lots of condiments. Not part of the hotel but beside it is a Humpty’s should you need dinner and across the road going south is Boston Pizza. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff were nice, pleasant and attentive. A definite 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s for this hotel.

We had no complaints.

The property is managed very well. The staff are courteous and efficient, always willing giving of a smile. Breakfast is fresh, tasty and plentiful. Value for your money equals excellent!

One of the two beds in our room requires a new mattress. Saggy in the middle, creating uncomfortable sleep. The outside of the property could use some sprucing up, paint? Could just be the time of year when remnants of winter are still lingering.

Everything, clean, fresh, washroom well stocked, bed was super comfortable and close to the downtown core where the restaurants are. Breakfast was included! and the cost was more than half the price I paid at the Travel Lodge dump in Kenora. Same hotel chain, just way better management, and takes the health and safety laws seriously.

Nothing. This place is well managed and clean. The rates are good for travellers needing a stop for one night.

The first thing I noticed about our room was it had regular cable TV instead of that horrible hotel TV.! The coffee in the room was well stocked, as well as the bathroom soaps etc. The breakfast is the best we have had anywhere. Love the eggs and sausage and of course they had the usual other options, including fresh fruit. Even the coffee was good! Can't say enough about this place and the people that work there. We will definitely choose this hotel as our first stop when travelling west!

The bananas were too green lol.

Breakfast was rated superb by reviews. I think that was overdoing it. It was fine but not phenomenal. Included a warm protein. Really appreciated that housekeeping arranged the pillows the way I put them, with the one I brought on one bed and all the hotel pillows on the other bed.

I found someone else's dirty sock in one of the corners. Would have liked 18% cream in my coffee, not powder, not 10%.

Breakfast was great for the selections offered and the space for dining. Reception and check in very efficient and pleasant. Room was conveniently located, quiet and clean.

Parking near the hotel was a little overcrowded- but there was room in a neighboring lot. It was a tricky getting the luggage cart into the room and out as the door was heavy and closed on the cart which was hard to maneuver on the carpet.

What started out as a travel visit. Ended up in the hospital stays. The super 8 was more than accommodating when we had to keep extending our stay. I would strongly recommend this handicap room to anyone who is travelling through. I greatly appreciate how they handle everything and well, definitely book this room next time I’m here

Could have had a little more food selection for breakfast. But…. Is what it is. The front door is locked after 11:00. Have to use the key entry at the side doors… which is fine for most. But I’m in a wheelchair and there are NO Ramps. So I have to keep buzzing at the front door to get in.

Best place ever. You have to stay here. Especially breakfast is not possible at this price. The owner was very nice, too. I came to Mussoza for a hot spring, and I chose this place because I needed two rooms. We will come back here when we come back to Mussoza again. Don't hesitate, everyone. Highly recommend!

Except for the hair coming out of the pillow

We really enjoyed the hot breakfast. Today's meal had western omellete, regular omellete and sausages. The size of the beds was very good and comfortable. Western theme murals and decoration in room was enjoyed. Atmosphere was friendly and made us feel welcome. We stayed on the main floor and prefer the option to choose it when we stayed for our visit. The bathroom fan worked and was wired directly to the single light switch. Vanity and updated facilities were enjoyed. Wifi signal was strong and good. Hallways and common areas looked after, good housekeeping.

No clean remote program. Look for it gentlemen and ladies. It's the real deal. Humpty restaurant next door can be hit or miss. Our advice is dine elsewhere for dinner but enjoy the breakfast offered in the hotel. Maybe super 8 will consider brunch.
