Splendid location, large property with nice gardens, lots of animals and birds, swimming pools had very good water temperature, kids club was well supplied with lots of games and activities to do, entertainment team very active with fun activities, restaurants provided good variety of of food and tasty food

some minor issues concerning cleaning in the room, there were some dead insects that stayed with us for the duration of our stay though we have signalled this issue. apart from that, our room was always tidied up and clean, but I guest there is a cleaning pattern that just left some corners untouched

Very noisy (lots of music) Not eco-friendly at all: disposable plastic cups and plates around the hotel. No recycling bins for the customers. Lots of food waste in the plates. That’s really a pity in a such amazing place. Eco measures should be taken.

The servers at the restaurant did not look happy. The supply of dishes was not smooth. There were communication issues due to the language barrier. Making a restaurant reservation was difficult. It would be great if there were an easier way to make reservations. The room’s air conditioning did not seem adjustable. The water in the shower did not drain well.

We have stayed so many times at Barcelo Tambor and we love our rooms, always 321 to 327. The quietude is lovely.

On Saturday night there was a disco which ran very late and was very loud. Also, the children’s show each evening is deafeningly loud. Not good for the children’s ears either.

we took the premium package for three nights. It was a better choice - less waiting and a private lounge with food and drinks. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the gym and butterfly sanctuary were cool.

Having to order premium drinks only in the private lounge was a hassle, and took quite a while. The area to hang out was pretty small - the pools were all connected and people put their things on the loungers early in the morning and camped out for the day. The food was okay but nothing special - seemed like a lot of the popular dishes weren’t getting refilled often.

location and spacing was amazing… beach was right there… wildlife lived and roamed freely

tvs in the room was small, phones weren’t working/connected nor were they replaced so we had no way to contact front desk or housekeeping, coffee machine was broken, sliding door in the room was so difficult to open almost through my back out… thin walls and doors… we could hear everything inside the rooms we walked by and I’m sure they ours..

Food was great specially Spanish and French theme night in their buffet restaurant. Guillermo, one of the managers made us feel great! Amazing customer service. Gym was clean and well equipped. Pools are beautiful, lots of choices. Plenty of activities to enjoy, mini-golf, beach volley, football, ping-pong, billboard etc... from 9-5pm Kids have great entertainment too. Rooms are very clean and comfortable mattresses. Gardens are amazing! Very pleasant. Beach is nice and private.

Bathrooms in the bedroom are a little outdated Only one A la Carte Restaurant was open. Not enough for a 5* start All-inclusive Resort. Shows/entertainment were not very good, at least from Monday to Thursday. Only a couple of people not very funny making bad jokes. Laundry prices too high. Not body Lotion provided. Activities can be enjoyable until 5pm at least in July. Sand wasn't as I expected, little rocky and no Wi-Fi available in the beach, which was great to read my book.

It was quiet, peaceful location. Safe, everything was easy access. Office and Restaurants

The insects , like the lizards in my room. We saw Zecarda’s in the walk ways and animal stool in the walkways .

Good amenities all close by. Food in the buffet restaurant was good. The Japanese only offered sushi which was subpar. The steakhouse was decent and worth the visit.
